I know kayzed, and it could be worse, MIL could be coming to stay 'to keep me company' before bub arrives (it has been mentioned). As I have been working nonstop with no more than a 2 wk break for past 10 yrs I intend to enjoy the next couple of weeks pleasing myself

maewest · 01/07/2006 11:58

to clarify - I haven't only had one 2 wk holiday in 10 yrs, that would be a bit workaholic, and I certainly couldn't be described as that

hi girls got discharged from hospital this morning, after an overnight stay.
They are hoping not to see me back in until i'm in labour. - hopefully soon. They did say it is poss i'm in early stages of labour aswell- fingers crossed.
-It's too hot to be pregnant in this weather.
Hope everyone is ok, wouldn't it be nice to have our babies in our arms now.

lilianna

Annie29 · 01/07/2006 20:04

Lilianna and Bloss, glad you're both ok.
Lilianna you're right, it's WAY too hot to be pregnant in this weather.

Well the football's all over, so we should be safe enough now whenever we pop if DH's are involved! So much for World Cup babies... DH was one, born in 1966! Bless him.

DS has decided he likes sitting on me when I'm on my birthing ball!! Still more comfy than the couch anyway...

Koshka, hope things are going well for you, and you too Aggie.

Have a good evening everyone

kbaby · 01/07/2006 20:36

kayzed - I had the same problem with pregacare. I only took it for 3 days and was sick each day so I switched to asda pregnancy multivits but obv need more iron. Ill give your suggestions a go.

I agree its too hot. I wonder if anyone would notice if I ditched wearing clothes for a bit!

Hi all,
I have not posted very much on here but have been reading everyone's posts daily. I dunno why I have gone so shy all of a sudden .

Anyway, I think I have had a show but I'm not 100% sure. What does it look like? Mine was a bit like snot but lots of it. Also wasn't very bloody. Sorry if TMI.

Thanks

Jeanie

HumphreysCorner · 01/07/2006 22:13

Jeanie-my show was like a giant bogey-lol! No blood at all but loads of white mucous everytime I wiped. Good Luck!

Ladies-football-pah! Had a little Bar B Q and my first glass of wine and what a letdown our national team is.

It is far too hot and I am pleased (don't shout at me) that I had DD2 on Tuesday and not today my official due date.

Night night all-hoping for more news tomorrow.

usandbump · 02/07/2006 05:40

Hi Jeanie, sounds like you have had your show! I want a sign !!!! Any developments???

I got so excited during the football bump must have wondered what on earth was going on! Got his own back last night tho, went to bed at 11 and up for the loo at 12, 1, 2, 4 and finally gave in and got up at 5.30. Hopefeully dp's rellies won't stay long today and I can nap later or maybe I could just leave them to it, hmmmmmm? do you think I have a good enough excuse????

KZ- brilliant idea with the nightie! Looks like its going to be another hot one, it looks beautiful though.

Wonder how those who should have popped are getting on?

maewest · 02/07/2006 09:35

Hot hot hot - hardly slept last night, now I have huge bags under my eyes, attractive. Have already started crunching the ice cubes and its only 9.30! Minimum clothing and sitting by the fan to day I think . HC we did tour of delivery suite a couple of weeks ago when we had that last spell of really hot weather - it was boiling! they had the heating on and the windows open (so obv v energy concious). It's another reason why I'm keen to stay at home, after about 10 mins there I was feeling hot & bothered and a bit sick.

AdelaideS · 02/07/2006 09:57

Hello!...please can I join?, I've been in June (due 27/7) but just woke up feeling comfortable as ever after last nights curry. Reckon this one's gonna hang around a bit

Hi Everyone,

Hot, just isn't the word.

Well, the flat is empty, cept for this computer, DS's toy box, and pram, and freezer bag full of milk. And my trusty ball, and labour bag!
Everything is gone off to storage. DH should be back soon, then we'll go to our mates place. Then, lovely ladies, I don't know when I'll get a chance to post again.

So may I wish you all the best of luck, with all your mucous and twinges and most of all, a safe birth for all of you. I will miss keeping up with all the news. Can't wait to hear all the birth announcements!!!

Bye for now (I WILL be back!!)

Annie 38+3 (8 sheets of loo roll!!)

usandbump · 02/07/2006 19:06

Ooh KZ, could be anytime!

Hope to see you back soon Annie good luck if we don't hear from you before your LO arrives
