eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:09

hi booby! Wow your outfit sounds great and I am sooo Envy over the paddling pool!!! WOW! We dont even have a hose. :(

I have been VERY hormonal lately - yesterday I nearly killed a woman for STUPIDLY smashing into me with her shopping trolley because she wasnt looking where she was going and was 'driving' it like she was the only one in existence. She smashed into my back and pushed me forward so my bump hit the counter and then said this pathetic little 'sorry' and you can ask Sal I didnt stop ranting and raving for a LONG time! I wasnt really hormonal at all in the 1st trimester when everyone said I should be, and the last few weeks I have been a nutcase. I know I am sick of waiting too... I know I am in the 3rd trimester now so in the home stretch but it feels like I have forever in front of me.

olivo · 12/06/2006 11:12

Morning everyone! having a very fed-up day today. can't seem to get my head together, the lack of sleep and the hay fever and the nausea are all ganging up on me. am blundering around at work but keep getting confused!
booby - 30 weeks this week too! three quarters of the way there.......

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:16

I cant wait to get to 30 weeks!! congrats! grrr I am 27 + 3 today.

Olivo I'm sorry you arent feeling well. How much longer do you have to work? It sounds like you need a good chill out but I guess thats pretty impossible at your job! Sorry! take a break as soon as you can!

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:19

I meant TWENTY EIGHT + 3 today!!! That extra week makes a big difference!!! geesh the heat must have fried my brains!

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:20

oops. I have to get the hang of this making things bold. TWENTY EIGHT + 3 TODAY

dressedupnowheretogo · 12/06/2006 11:22

must be weather making us hormonal
if you banged your bump eeny you must ring your mw with you being rh neg could be dangerous people are such arses

must say i agree with you eeny about sleeping til when you want going to bed when you want much more relaxing
and are you watching this morning this woman had 19 epidurals over 19 hours oh my god Shock

olivo · 12/06/2006 11:29

hmm, another 6 weeks at work if I want to start my mat. leave in sept and get my usual pay over the holidays Sad

what is it with people and shopping trollies? - I am terrified these days in the supermarket, with people barging past etc

olivo · 12/06/2006 11:31

on the plus side, dh just emailed to say they are dispatching our pushcahir today!! our first proper piece of baby equipment! hurray!Smile

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:31

I thought about the RH thing with the bang yesterday but as Angry as I was I dont think it was THAT hard as I reacted pretty quickly & stuck my hand out which cushioned most of the impact. I didnt see this morning!! I'll turn it on in case they are still talking about it...

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:35

Olivo, you gonna make it another 6 weeks?? I Can see why you would want to with the pay etc. but it sounds like its getting harder. What age are the children you teach? congrats on the pushchair!!! You are going to have so much fun pushing it around your house!

People in supermarkets are psycho - they treat everyone else like they arent real people who will feel pain if they get smacked in to. What annoyed me even more was this woman's pathetic 'sorry' - I dont even think she meant it and I was so angry I was thinking 'you should be begging for forgiveness to this PREGNANT lady not just saying sorry and carrying on acting like an IDIOT'

SnowBoo · 12/06/2006 11:46

Hi all! God, i've missed so much! Will catch up later.

Have my 32 week scan tomorrow to see just how big baby is. I can tell them. Gigantic.

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 11:47

aawww Snowboo!! Look forward to hearing the scan results!

SnowBoo · 12/06/2006 12:12

Sorry, boss came back sooner than expected!
Will catch up tomorrow after scan!

Take care all and don't melt too much!!!!

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 13:07

Just had really great news!!

Our antenatal classes were fully booked for July so we had to go in the August classes - one of which was on one of my suggested due dates!! A lady from the birthing centre just called me and said there has been a July cancellation so Sal & I are going to be in those classes now!! I am so happy as I was convinced I would go into labour before I had the last of the antenatal classes - not to mention I will be huge and uncomfortable then! Made my day!!

purpleturtle · 12/06/2006 13:10

That's great news Eeny! Probably less distracting all round to be going that month earlier. Smile

I plan to take ds to a friend's and sit in their garden for the afternoon, before taking dd to have half her hair chopped off after school. Lovely.

preparingfor2 · 12/06/2006 13:24

Great news about the antenatal classes Eeny. I always think imagine going into labour whilst in one of those classes. Probably because I haven't packed my bag yet (despite trying for about 3 weeks) and I have my first antenatal class tonight. When I read your original post about the classes I thought at least you're in the right place if it happens!

olivo · 12/06/2006 13:41

nice one eeny! i've done mine early, i'm due 5 weeks after the nearest person but at least I'm still vaguely awake enough to take things in, which i suspect I won't be soon enough!!

as for making it through the next 6 weeks at work, I'll just have to see. I'm not going to beat myself up if I have to take an odd day pff here and there, and they are being pretty good to me, letting me come in late on the two days when i dont teach first thing.

hope you enjoy your antenatal classes too, PP2. i've only got 2 out of 8 left!!

dressedupnowheretogo · 12/06/2006 17:58

its rained that much havent been in pool today Sad

we start our antenatal classes on 27th june then we go together on the 2nd july

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 19:06

Wow - more good news - My nappies are FINALLY in!! So I can go pick those up tomorrow after my midwife appointment! It never rains but it pours!

Sorry its been raining Booby & you havent been able to get in the pool - its been dry & hot here although rain is predicted later this week.

Olivo I think you are right about not stressing if you need the odd day off - you are doing well to be working anyway & if you just feel too knackered one day then so be it!! Its good your employers are understanding.

purple how did the hair cut go? and preparingfor2 I wonder how often it does happen where people go into labour in an antenatal class? Would be a funny story!

YellowFeathers · 12/06/2006 20:07

Hi everyone.
Haven't had the chance to read all the messages but will catch up.

Still not feeling great but I think alot of it is me panicing and making it worse. Had to drag myself off to a neighbours on Saturday and then stop with my MIL overnight whilst dh came home Blush
Got MW coming to do a check up at our house on Wednesday and se said she will bring some sugar dipsticks just to rule out Gestational Diabetes.

Found out today we won't be moving till next week Angry, we were told monday this morning but then they came back this afternoon saying a week on Friday [double Angry ]
So atm we're surrounded by boxes in two minds wether to start packing or not!

Could do with a punch bag right now!

Hope all are well Smile

eenywifemum · 12/06/2006 22:10

sorry Yellow! I hope your MW can get a grip on what is going on with you. And what a pain about the moving!! I know you just want to get it over with! Do you have people who can help you with all the unpacking etc?
