Wondered if theose of you who are not 1st timers and are due BEFORE mid-Nov are feeling their babies move daily or some of the time only (or never)?
Thanks

NatalieJane · 17/05/2006 18:01

Everything OK Velcrobot?

calsworld · 17/05/2006 18:06

Those pics are absolutely gorgeous!! Can't wait till I've got my own to play with and dress up and get loads of great pictures of!

Ooh...think I might actually be getting excited....its been a while coming......but yes, definately feeling excited about baby rather than scared....it must be that twelve week feeling - I'm so far behind you lot but catching up! Yay!

(Can you tell I haven't been sick today?! Hooray for that too!)

((((HUGS)))) to al - sorry, just feeling sentimental!

calsworld · 17/05/2006 18:08

Esmummy · 17/05/2006 18:11

I'm not due until 21st November Velcrobat but i do already have a DD. I haven't felt anything regularly as yet although i did feel one definite movement in bed a few nights ago, not felt anything else since though.
I think 16 weeks is about right for 2nd timers but think the same principal applies as first time as in they wont be particularly regular at first but will become more and more regular with time. Not much help i'm sure but wanted to reply.

YummyMummy87 · 17/05/2006 18:15

I am due 2nd dec thats from date of my last period, first scan is on the 24th, next wednesday! But the baby will be born 2 weeks earlier by section.V scared as my last baby was born before 38 weeks and dont know if i could cope with another emergency ceasarean.

mygirllolipop · 17/05/2006 19:29

I'm due 13th so just before mid-Nov, I can feel baby when bladder full and either I'm leaning forward or lying flat. The odd movement in between it's just say daily.
Nothing exciting to report today other than I realised we go up home for the wkend next wkend!

YummyMummy87 · 17/05/2006 19:46

MeAndMyBoy · 17/05/2006 22:19

Velcrobott - hope all's ok. I'm 16 weeks and it's my second and have been feeling something the last couple of days about the same time - just the funny tickley feeling, but not sure what the next couple of days will bring as I'm not in the office sitting down until Monday again. so wouldn't say it's definately regularly.

YummyMummy - managed to do yours and then promptly messed my links up doh! going to look at the pram - should be going to bed look what you're doing to me Grin

Velcrobott - hope you are okay - I am 15 weeks pregnant and have only felt a few movements in the last couple of days. I have just had a scan today and the doctor commented that the baby was very active - so there is definetly a lot going on that I am not feeling.

Had my scan today - everything is okay :). Baby is measuring a exactly on date apart from the legs which are 5 days ahead - thankfully not blessed with my short legs then Grin

The blood flow to the baby appears normal at the moment which we were both very pleased to hear. Due to get on a plane in a few hours to return to the UK so will be computerless for a while.

Hope everyone else is well and I look forward to catching up when I next get near a computer.

NatalieJane · 18/05/2006 09:46

Morning all :o

Nothing to report really, but I am definatly feeling better, still feel quite tired towards the end of the day but no where near as drained as I was :)

Only problem I have now is that I can't stand anything touching my bump, clothes, DH, DS, even water when I am showering in the morning :( Really struggled to go to sleep last night because I was feeling cold but didn't want the quilt on my belly!

Oh well, Big Brother starts tonight, so I am sure I will be able to forget about my troubles!! :o

saralou100 · 18/05/2006 09:47

hi all... where did yummy mummy go?? anyway decided to take a leaf out of nj's book yesterday, stop feeling sorry for myself and bloody well get on with it!!! so i spring cleaned downstairs after doing an 8hour shift from hell - got home and just started tidying even though i was knackered. it felt gooooooood!! i cannot stand clutter and mess usually so it was good therapy!! my work is not yet done though, need to clean upstairs today... i had a lovely new bedroom built the week before i discovered being pg and i'm still living out of bags and boxes, so gonna try and get that done today!!! can't do it whilst on here though so i'll see ya later !!!! :o:o:o

tamula · 18/05/2006 12:18

Hi Y'all!

I thought I was due in Dec, but I had my scan on Tues and am due 14th Nov.

I have a daughter who is currently 13.5 months old Smile

Hellloooo all Grin

fatbetty · 18/05/2006 12:25

I wish I could report that I'm feeling better. Woke up this morning feeling miserable and have very sore glands. Went to the doc this morning as I was concerned that I was going to get an ear infection but just have to stick to taking paracetamol. Morning sickness tends to kick in at night so have usually go to bed feeling horrible. Ugh!! Wish I had a bit more energy and motivation at the moment.

NatalieJane · 18/05/2006 13:10

FB I think there is a few different bugs going round, I have had a cold and sore throat all week, DH had something else last week...

Have just had an ice cream and am feeling OK again :o

Welcome Tamula, that must have been a nice surprise to find you are well ahead of what you expected!!

pinkmagic1 · 18/05/2006 14:22

Just got back from holiday so have alot of catching up to do.
Went to see the midwife on Tuesday to have blood taken to screen for Downs etc and heard babies heart beat for the first time which was exciting. Despite having seen it on the scan it is really reasuring to hear the heart. I havn't got another appointment until 28 weeks which the midwife says is now common practice with people expecting for the 2nd time. It seems so long to go without a check-up. Is it the same for others on here?

NatalieJane · 18/05/2006 16:44

That seems about right pinkmagic, perhaps a little longer than what some of the others have said, but about the same. Hope you had a nice holiday BTW you lucky thing!!

Incase any of you are interested I have just found a lovely little online store for maternity clothes they seem to do some nice things at reasonable prices, it is {http://www.tumtastic.com\here} if anyone fancies a bit of retail theropy :) I haven't ordered anything yet but probably will in time for the weather hopefully warming up.

NatalieJane · 18/05/2006 16:45

Oooops \link{http://www.tumtastic.com\here} even!! Blush

mygirllolipop · 18/05/2006 18:35

What's happened with yummymummy?
Congrats tumala, great you are further on than you thought!
Awayfromhome- have a great flight!
Nothing to report here, think bug is finally leaving my system. Goingto be revising with DD1 sh'e got her SATs next week.

velcrobott · 18/05/2006 18:51

Thanks everyone... I'm fine just expected to feel baby everyday... not in a massive way but just daily. I am 15 weeks.
I'm sure all is fine I was curious to hear your experiences. So thanks for sharing !!!

LadyAnne1stTimeMum · 18/05/2006 19:57

Mummy2Toby · 19/05/2006 00:28

Hi everyone, just thought I would let you know that the hospital listened for the heartbeat today and found it almost straight away silly doctor shouldn't have even tried if he just wanted to practice on me - have been extra worried since Monday for no reason now - no wonder I have a rash - Thank you all for your kind word again - what would I do without mn.

NatalieJane · 19/05/2006 11:55

Velcrobot, I am glad everything is OK :)

Mummy2Toby, it must be a relief for you, and so nice to hear the heartbeat after a bit of a scare, although I agree, the doctor shouldn't have even tried to find it.

Well for all of my showing off, I am back to being absolutely shattered today, don't know if all the housework has just drained it out of me or if the late night watching Big Brother has set me back a bit! Oh well will hopefully get a nice relaxing weekend in and then hopefully feel better again next week.

Have a good weekend everyone if I don't catch you again today :) TC xxx
