Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
HavingALittleFaithBaby · 02/02/2013 08:42

It's ironic when after TTC for forever a long time the due date time works out well, isn't it?! Same with me and April. I can use leave from both years (our holidays run April to April). I also like the idea of having a spring baybee :)

blonderthanred · 02/02/2013 10:32

Wow, sounds like you're having an interesting but hopefully ok time Faith. Hope your bump isn't being groped too much. Wink

I met the in-laws within a few months of going out with TBI. It was the Easter hols and I couldn't face not seeing him for three weeks so went over to Ireland to stay - and because it was Easter I met ALL the ILs at once. And there are a lot of them! I was terrified and struggled with some of the stronger accents.

We went to Croatia for our honeymoon (back in 2002). Twas beautiful. And Lake District for our first anniversary. Maybe we should go again this year.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 03/02/2013 13:09

Yes I've met Grandparents, MIL, SFIL (he's a right piece of work!), aunt, uncle, two cousins, cousin-in-law, and other cousin's BF. In the space of 48 hours! Confused At least I can understand what they say eh blonde? How's the munchkin?

Had a luffly day yesterday - his cousin took us to Dartmouth. We had a mooch and nice pub grub. Then had a takeaway round his aunt and uncles house. Have managed not to see the MIL since Friday but off for a carvery in a min and she'll be there. I anticipate at least 3 bump gropes in that time!

bluer · 03/02/2013 15:26

Oh the groping rude! I really don't like being touched unless it's someone i'm close to...a Lassie at work keeps patting and hugging me etc and it give me the fear!

FriendofDorothy · 03/02/2013 17:46

I am feeling quite proud of myself. I managed to breast feed on the front row of church this morning. The vicar lived in Africa for a while so it certainly didn't bother him!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 03/02/2013 20:33

Nice work dor! Grin

I have been to see Les Mis with my cousin-in-law's wife. I cried. A lot. Fortunately, so did she! Pickle kicked most of the way through. I believe this is a very good thing :)

FriendofDorothy · 03/02/2013 21:56

I am desperate to see Les Mis. Need to get on with expressing this week to see if he will take a bottle so I can go!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 03/02/2013 22:02

Definitely worth doing although Russell Crowe not so much

bluer · 03/02/2013 22:07

Oh i've not seen it yet either...Mr df won't and my friends all have babies that they won't leave! I guess I'll be waiting for dvd!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 03/02/2013 22:18

It all worked out marvellously for me - MSB will absoutely not watch it. Probably ever Hmm but he suggested his cousin's wife might fancy it because She's a bit posh like you [sic] and she did :) so we left them playing Fifa on the PS3 while we went off to the pictures. Everybody happy!

Where in the world are you blue?

blonderthanred · 04/02/2013 10:26

Les Mis was our first parent & baby screening, it was good but a bit long, needed an interval. Babies v screamy by end except my perfect pfb who slept through it .

I dislike Russell Crowe and his puddingy face intensely but that was ok as it kind of suited his character. But oh Hugh Jackman. Oh. Does he have pointy sideburns written into his film contracts? Mmm.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 04/02/2013 10:43

If he doesn't, he really should! I luff him. So very much. Ever since I first saw him in a terrible film called Animal Attraction (where he wandered round in nowt but a towel!).

Yes I made me own interval just before One Day More when I know it is in the stage show because my bladder is so squished up these days.

How you doing lazy?

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 04/02/2013 17:31

Hello! We are home :) phew. Came back via Nottingham and went to Kiddicare. Eek, we have bought our travel system! Chose the babystyle oyster in the end - bang in budget, folds very small and easily and is easy to manoeuvre. I am a happy bunny and MSB is relieved that the deliberating is over!

bluer · 04/02/2013 18:00

Hey faith in up in Scotland...apt eight years ago I moved to a small village for work which is two hours from my hometown so i'm on my own as it were! All my close friends are back home but I have made some good friends here!

blonderthanred · 04/02/2013 21:06

Oh that's so exciting Faith! That's a lovely pram. What colour?

We are crawling to the end of the thread, I think it falls to Faith to start a new one! Do you need stats for the not-list? L was born October 26 2012.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 04/02/2013 21:13

Oh yes, the thread is nearly out!

We chose red - well the basic carrycot is black and we picked the silver frame (which was cheaper but tbh I think it looks nicer!) with the red pack for the extra bits :)

Yes stats of baybees borned required! dor I will do my research unless you get chance to chip in beforehand?!

Ah blue, if you'd been a bit nearer I'd have visited you bit that's a bit far for a day trip!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 04/02/2013 21:28

bluer do you have a witty comment? And what is your EDD please? Think I can finally lose the 'head down toilet' now :)

FriendofDorothy · 04/02/2013 21:51

He was born on 14 December 2012.

He is currently snoring on my chest!

bluer · 04/02/2013 22:28

Oh it would've been nice to meet up! I'm most inconveniently located though! edd it's 22nd August and my phrase will be peeing and puking.

felt fine this morning until I started weeing and realised I was going to be sick...quickly finished weeing, spun round, vomited....and then wee's all over the floor. The indignity.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 04/02/2013 22:53

I too have wee'd myself - peed in Jamas when I vomited rather intensely. Been working on my pelvic floor!

Can I just have your age too?

I have stalked some ESH to get birth dates

dor how luffly. I'm quite excited about holding our snuffly baybee soon!

Bye bye to Fred! It's been fun :)

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 04/02/2013 23:00

new fred!

bluer · 05/02/2013 07:29

33! )

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 05/02/2013 09:29

(Sleathy research discovered that! Cheers!)

blonderthanred · 05/02/2013 09:40

Bye to the amazing Fred which brought Dor and my beautiful baybees. Onto the next! We're on course for a Lazy opener...
