Yay on the good sleep Rolls! Only 13 hours to go until you're free and clear for your home birth...

Poopy on having to go to work Faife - but you're on the low end of the countdown to mat leave at this point!

Today I feel less diffed than I've felt in a while. Confused I'm sleeping fairly well, baby happily moving aboutl and haven't had any of the intense lower pelvic period pain-ish BH for the past 24 hrs. What's up with that?!

blonderthanred · 19/01/2013 11:37
HavingALittleFaithBaby · 19/01/2013 20:45

Hooray am home :) work was ok once I got there.

Right, I need to ask a delicate question...erm, the sechs. Not being doing much...did it last night recently and afterwards my laydee bits swelled up massively. Is this is a diffed thing? Or is it more likely to be a reaction to the new lube we used? Bump also went very hard! Very strange!

LP perhaps the baybee is just in a naice position? Glad you're feeling well.

It's nearly Sunday queenie!

snowqueenrollo · 19/01/2013 21:17

the sechs......not happened here for months. I am missing it very much but just too uncomfortable to even attempt it.

I went back to bed for an hour this afternoon! tired again now.....going to go and get comfy in bed shortly and read. Bed is just about the only place I CAN get comfortable!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 19/01/2013 21:18

(That was the first time this year!)

You can start evicting your baybee soon!

FriendofDorothy · 19/01/2013 22:05

Sechs?

Nope no idea what that is. Grin

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 19/01/2013 22:22

I think MSB was starting to think that was it til the baybee was 18 and left home...

blonderthanred · 19/01/2013 22:57

We barely did the sechs at all, I was too scared. Tried a few times but I just panicked each time. Did it quite a few times when trying to induce labour though!

Now trying to work out how you ever do it again after having the baybee. I mean where do you put it? No don't answer that... I meant where do you put the baybee.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 19/01/2013 23:04

Lend it out to someone for a couple of hours?

FriendofDorothy · 19/01/2013 23:22

I trying to work out it we will ever be able to have sex again. It all feels a bit odd down there after all the stitches IYKWIM! Blush I had a bit of a rummage and it feels very strange. I have a peculiar ridge up my fanjo which I am sure wasn't there before.

I am sure that is TMI!!

bluer · 20/01/2013 10:45

Sechs have been out the window recently...too tired or too sick. Going to make a concerted effort later...maybe...

snowqueenrollo · 20/01/2013 11:11

dor the ridge is where they stitched the muscle back together yes? it will settle down, though be prepared that it may act like a war wound and ache a bit when AF is due/in residence. Mine did for a couple of years after DS was born.

well.....37 weeks!!!!! I am 37 weeks today!!! That last week and half was just dreadful. Now to see if I can encourage this baby to come out.

FriendofDorothy · 20/01/2013 11:25

I think that's what it is queenie. Feels very odd.

Well done on reaching 37 weeks. Let Project Eviction start!

blonderthanred · 20/01/2013 11:27

Well done Queenie. Hope you get the smooth home birth you are hoping for.

LPplusOne · 20/01/2013 15:40

Yay for Roll's 37 weeks!

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 20/01/2013 17:33

Happy 37 weeks rolly!

Eurgh. I am so tired. A horrid combo of nights/quick turnaround to days/spilt days off so I have been exhausted today and am back for two more long days tomorrow and Tuesday. Happily though I have emptied the 'study' of most of its crap so it's nearly ready to get the border up and make it a nursery :)

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 23/01/2013 10:29

Hooray! Day off! I've been quite productive too :) lots of outstanding phone calls including rebooking my GTT.

queenie congratulations on your baybee boy I so thought you were having a girl! Does it all seem worth it now?

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 26/01/2013 18:26

Blimey no posts for days!

Do you think it's because there's so much activity in t'other place?

I don't feel good. Very panicky and anxious. I have used Rescue Remedy (which I believe is safe) but eurgh!

Can I ask about discharge? tmi warning I am getting buckets. Not quite running down my legs but can't do without pant liners and I am saturated. Doesn't smell bad. Creamy in colour (sometimes more yellowy). Not particularly itchy.
I bought canestan OTC, used the pessary then freaked out about it and removed it Hmm because I got all worked up. I'm not usually this anxious! I am seeing my MW on Tuesday anyway so I will probably wait and ask her b what so you think? Could it be thrush?

blonderthanred · 26/01/2013 19:03

I did get a lot Faith. But prob best to check with mw when you see her.

Did you get your GTT booked? I have to have my follow up one on Tues.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 26/01/2013 19:18

It's just very bizarre. Another one of those 'pregnancy symptoms taking over my body' things.

GTT is booked in for Monday. Need a good book to while away the hours in between the drinking and blood test!

MSB has returned from his trip to fetch the new car. Looks quite good to be fair. Anxiety helped by the distraction of home video from his childhood :) I assumed he was dark haired but actually he was quite fair and so was I so maybe our baybee will be too?!

blonde I can't believe your baybee is already 3 months old! He's so scrummy :)

FriendofDorothy · 26/01/2013 19:31

I had loads of discharge too. Apparently it's very normal.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 26/01/2013 19:40

Even if its very thick - like yoghurt?

FriendofDorothy · 26/01/2013 21:17

Think so. It varied if I remember correctly.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 26/01/2013 21:21

Ah righto. Will ask MW on Tuesday and avoid using anything (but pant liners) in the mean time.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 28/01/2013 14:04

Well glucose tolerance has been tested. While away the two hours watching What to expect when you're expecting...very amusing actually. The moment when the one woman turns to her DH and says she's sorry but she just wants to punch him in the face! Grin They will ring me tomorrow if there is a problem.

Think I'm going bonkers....left my debit card in Lidl. Only realised when I got to the co-op (forgot something in Lidl!) that I'd left it. Fortunately they still had it. Then I came home and left the keys in the front door for 10 minutes! Hmm On a positive note, I have bought a few more bits so I can start putting my hospital bag together. Which scares me.

Any twinges LP?
