Oh eggs I feel for you. I hate being sober when everyone else is having a drink!

Had a friend over last night so had a lovely dinner and a much needed catch up! Was knackered and just asleep when DH barrelled in and woke me! I definately snapped at him but I was so tired and uncomfy!

Off for breakfast with bil and SIL today, first time we've seen them since they announced the pregnancy! I can't wait!

Cookiesandcream06 · 08/09/2012 09:16

Glad you are feeling a bit better bubbless I have found each day is more of a struggle, hurting back and bump and pressure is starting too

COD I hope you get some answers soon and he can get the right support.
Those talking about leakages, I've had wee and the other. Roll on winter when I stop sneezing every 5 minutes, and yes I cracked out a panty liner too the other day. Literally blobs and blobs (sorry mega TMI) Eurghh. I shouldn't be worried should I?!
ellie I know the feeling, although last night Iasted until 11 SHOCK just there is no shame in coming home early, from about 9 I was dreaming of a hot chocolate and my pack of Jammie Dodgers! (baby's latest need apparently!)

Hope everyone has got some nice plans in the nice weather, am off to the beach with DD in a min. Hope the moving is going well for those who are moving.

Cookiesandcream06 · 08/09/2012 09:17

eggs not ellie ahh I'm becoming more and more useless!

ellliebelle · 08/09/2012 09:23

It was dd2's 3rd birthday yesterday so having a party this aft for her and forbonce im totally prepared and not running around this morning with my knickers in a twist

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2012 10:05

So hungry today, already had second breakfast Blush

Hope you feel better soon ellie I had protein but no infection. If it's negative they will know monday, positive and they will know tuesday. I hate not knowing so always call to ask as soon as I can!

I just got my carrier in the post, need to work out how to use it now but it seems pretty easy! I love it Grin

I'm in awe of people managing to go out still, I would love to go out to dinner something but going out to somewhere where everyone is just getting drunk would put me in a very bad mood!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2012 10:06

Oh and happy birthday to your dd ellie

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/09/2012 10:09

Ellie I had exactly the same thing 2 weeks ago - achey kidneys, weeing lots, blood and protein in urine. They gave me antibiotics and I took them but the sample came back (9 days later) negative for infection. That's how my "knicker-problems" started so you may find yourself popping out for canestan soon!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/09/2012 10:12

Spotty you clearly have a better doctors than me! 9 days for a bloody sample to come back!

Also I LOVE second breakfast Grin eyeing up some toast as we speak. Off to buy my sister a birthday present (bit late it's today), going to spoil her as I will be skint at Christmas!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2012 10:15

I am very lucky here! Lovely doctors & hospital, always easy to get an appointment!

Oh yes, no one will expect Christmas presents anyway.

Just watched the video for the Caboo on youtube, it looks really easy, even dp might manage it!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/09/2012 10:20

I'm only due 22nd, if he doesn't put in an appearance I won't be able to use the "But I got you a son/gradson/nephew" excuse!

emilyeggs · 08/09/2012 11:33

Just been stung by a wasp Sad never been stung befor and it's very painful Sad.

Hope all you ladies and bumps are well

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2012 12:15

Ouch emily! Hope you haven't had a bad reaction

EggsMichelle · 08/09/2012 12:21

Happy Birthday Ellie's daughter, hope the party goes well.

I really want to go see Elbow on the 26th November, it's seated but I'm due 6th, is that cutting it a bit close? DH will probably refuse go anyway!

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2012 12:26

You might feel like crap. You might be one of the lucky ones and feel fine towards the end but if it was me I wouldn't risk it Smile

MyDaydream · 08/09/2012 12:42

spotty glad your results came back clear. Also I see no embarrassment in a second breakfast, I often have one.
eggs I'm exactly the same now I'm pregnant I don't want to be around a bunch of boring drunks. Before I was pregnant I very rarely drank and didn't mind, but I also wasn't crushingly tired and uncomfortable too which helped.
ellie hope your tests come back fine and that your daughter enjoys her birthday party.
willyou I'm hoping for an after Christmas baby so I don't have to feel guilty not buying anyone overpriced "to my insert relative here" Christmas cards. My mum said she doesn't care about cards from just him until he can scribble his name but MIL has already told DP that she expects a "happy birthday grandma" card for her b/day in October. I've told DP it's not happening unless he sorts it, which means its not happening.
emily hope your okay I've not been stung in years but it makes me miserable.
DP was meant to meet me 30 minutes ago and he's still on the bus. I wonder how he always manages to be late, miss the bus, get delayed when I find it fairly easy to get places on time.

Bubbless · 08/09/2012 12:42

clarella thanks for the tip of lactulose.. will start getting some of that down me!

my mw notes are so confusing, its giving me 2 different 'weeks' for my next appt in different places of the notes!
after my 20w scan when should my next mw appt be (1st child?)?

hope everyone has a great day in the sunshineeee!

MyDaydream · 08/09/2012 13:48

Bubbless I have one next week at 25 weeks, then one at 28 weeks.

SpottyTeacakes · 08/09/2012 15:53

I think I'm growing an octopus Confused My legs really hurt at the moment, like I've pulled them, think it's the constant cramp I have all night long! Haven't been doing much today, dp is working then playing football and I just can't keep up with dd outside Blush

utopian99 · 08/09/2012 16:05

eggs we're going to see the killers on the 13th Nov and I'm due Dec 15th, also seated so we thought it was safe, although 2 weeks extra leeway?

ellie happy birthday to your dd!

We're enjoying the last sunshine! Soleros all round...

Queenofsiburbia · 08/09/2012 17:38

bubless I had appt at 25 weeks, then blood test at 27 weeks and then next midwife appt at 28 weeks (next week).

I feel like a heffalump which is making me very daunted by next few months. No-one said how much flippin actual hard work it is hauling a baby & it's cocoon round! It hurts my back. .

I was very proud as stuck it out at a wedding from 4pm to 12.30pm but helped that a friend was there who also wasn't drinking.
Being pregnant has made me realise that just two glasses of wine is enough to make you seem tipsy to a sober person!

Queenofsiburbia · 08/09/2012 17:39

12.30am
Blush

WillYouDoTheFandango · 08/09/2012 18:20

Oh the shame - my garden chair just collapsed beneath me, I managed to get my leg between the floor and it to break my fall but ouch! Blush I swear I'm not that much of a heffalump, it was rotten honest!

Well done QoS drunk people are super annoying when you're sober!

Queenofsiburbia · 08/09/2012 18:23

It was rotten willyou, definitely. The screws were rusty too.

CODwidow · 08/09/2012 19:04

I had an appt at 25wks and have another with bloods at 28wks and then I don't see her again until 34wks I don't think.

We've had a day of the park and food shopping today and dh has just ordered a Chinese so a good day all in all. I needed it after only 5 hours sleep last night Sad I do wish my ds's would grasp weekends= lie in!

Bump is definately getting heavy now and reached the point where you think there is no possible way you could 'grow' anymore but knowing I will probably double in size by dec.

Has anyone ordered from Joe Browns before?? They have a lovely cape in their book that would be perfect with a bump to stay warm but ideal for jan/feb also.

mwahmwah · 08/09/2012 19:27

newly walking ds just took his new abilities to the extreme. Caught him headfirst in the tumble drier, just two little legs poking out! Hilarious but scary at the same time. Little rascal.
