On my own tonight too Dh at work and like a complete baby I stood at the front door and cried when he went no idea whyConfused he rang me once he got there to check I was ok.

Elllie my boobs are so sore it went for a week or 2 but seems to have come back and are very painful my ds2 sits with me and leans on them and it hurts.

mwahmwah · 19/08/2012 08:41

Oh dear I've woke up with two mahoosive cold sores on my bottom lip this morning, so painful! Wonder if zovirax is safe when PG?

WillYouDoTheFandango · 19/08/2012 09:29

You poor thing mwah this site says its one of those up to you situations.

Last night was my turn for the crap nights sleep. Woke up sweating and with stabbing pains all over my bump at 4 and couldn't sleep again. It was just wind Blush but I felt like I was dying at the time!

utopian99 · 19/08/2012 09:32

Hi
Been a while due to birthday shenanigans but been catching up while DH snoozes this morning- think he is a bit fragile. Was my 30th yesterday, and the weather even behaved, which I rather feared it wouldn't,so we had a lawn full of people all afternoon/evening, which was good. Happy me. Much hilarity on bouncy castle (tiger shaped), n.b. I should point out no children there as none of my friends have kids yet, but turns out we're all quite juvenile enough to enjoy it! I was very genteel in bouncing/people v careful not to bump me, so Crumb feels fine, just waking up himself now.

Glad those of you with rental issues sounds like it's getting sorted? All the wind stories made me laugh. I never used to (noticeably) but have been recently, which amuses DH no end as i used to tell him off. Shucks. Wink

Now off to prepare epic fry up for horde of hungover houseguests. Am rather enjoying this, think i see why my mum used to enjoy our house parties as teenagers!

Happy Sundays everyone...

WillYouDoTheFandango · 19/08/2012 09:36

Smile enjoy your smug Sunday utopian don't forget to rattle that frying pan extra load for good measure!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 19/08/2012 09:37

Loud not load!

SpottyTeacakes · 19/08/2012 09:41

Stupid fat ankles Angry

Walnut8 · 19/08/2012 10:46

Stupid fat thighs Angry Smile

I'm another one that hates when DH goes out with his mates without me. It's not fair at all, and completely unreasonable, but I still hate it! I think DH will have to go to a bucks too, around mid November, for a mate who is notoriously bad with things like that. Dreading it already! Sigh. I actually don't much like having a big night without DH either though, & wouldn't enjoy a weekend away with just my girlfriends. I know that's a bit strange Confused

My DD has been really sick the last few days and so sleeping in our bed with us. So uncomfortable, especially as she gets very clingy. Thankfully on the way to recovering so will hopefully sleep as long as possible in her cot tonight.

We're also moving house to a new rental next weekend - bit worried that the new place still wont be big enough for all four of us once DD2 is born, but all we can afford in the area we want to live, so I guess we will have to make do. Moving on Friday ... eurgh.

Good luck for all the scans coming up this week.

Bellaboo123 · 19/08/2012 13:21

Foul mood today really tired and grump Angry

Not feeling kicks today having a diet coke as we speak to liven her up. Went swimming this morning which was nice

Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday sorry for rant.

Happy belated birthday utopian x

Bubbless · 19/08/2012 13:24

im with spoty, i think it annoys me that hes out having fun without me!!
he did come home at midnight, and climb into bed... i let him because he has put some spray on to cover the alcohol and had brushed his teeth, bless him!

i know this may sound stupid, but i find baby wriggles everytime after ive farted... do you recon it tickles her or something?! anyone else?!

itsMYNutella · 19/08/2012 14:41

It is hot! And Walnut I'm also Angry at my stupid fat thighs!

Happy birthday Utopian! It was my 30th in May and DP wouldn't let me have one glass of bubbly! Now I'm allowed an almost weekly glass of wine!:)
Would love a fry up.... Please post any leftover sausages to me : Nutella lover, hannover, Germany. Thank you!:o

MyDaydream · 19/08/2012 14:53

I don't mind DP having a nights out when they're planned, we share friends though so I'm often invited and leave when I get tired. I know he'll always come home if I ask though. I do hate it when he goes to see his friend and tells me he'll be home for dinner then doesn't get back until 10. That's usually because they were playing play station and lost track of time though.

I just licked the bowl after making cakes, I had runny eggs last night from the same box so imagine I'll be fine. Can't let mint bun mix go to waste.

HoneyMum21 · 19/08/2012 14:55

Right, who's joining me on the crying sofa today. I have chocolate biscuits and tissues.

Bubbless · 19/08/2012 15:07

honey your too late, i needed the crying sofa last night but somehow cheered my self up today and it had nothing to do with the £30 'goodie' shop i did in morrisons this morning and have been chomping on all day..

anyone else feel like their are literally melting in this heat?!

Bellaboo123 · 19/08/2012 15:08

Budge up honey I'm with u! ??????

HoneyMum21 · 19/08/2012 15:18

Glad you're feeling a bit better today Bubbles.

Bella i have oreos, tea and DH is bringing brownies later (and he knows that he won't be getting any of them!)

Bellaboo123 · 19/08/2012 15:23

Sounds perfect ill bring the cupcakes! Could murder a glass of wine grrr!

SpottyTeacakes · 19/08/2012 15:37

Sorry to all those feeling sad, we're having another BBQ today yum!

WillYouDoTheFandango · 19/08/2012 16:44

Can I join you on the sad couch? Just been to a baby shower and all the non-preggos had wine. I had orangeade, really not the same.

There were 4 other pregnant ladies there all 30+ weeks, I. Was very >Envy I still feel like I have ages to go (22+1)

HoneyMum21 · 19/08/2012 16:49

Of course WillYou - there is plenty of room on the sobbing sofa (and plenty of cake too)

emilyeggs · 19/08/2012 18:31

No sobbing sofa for me today, Smile even though I've worked all weekend and missed the sunshine (maybe a good thing as the air con was actually on instead of heating). Ive not had much kicking at all and the few I have had have not been as string as before Sad normal?

Happy belated B'day utopian Biscuit

emilyeggs · 19/08/2012 18:31

Meant strong as before Blush

MyDaydream · 19/08/2012 18:33

willyou that sucks, I really want to find a yummy alternative to my usual vodka/coke. It's my DP/another friends joint birthday do next weekend and I would love a nice grown up feeling soft drink. Everyone else will have cocktails and posh ciders.

I think I'll join you on the crying couch, but I'll save a bit at the end for lonely rather than crying. DPs spent all day on his computer, tool him an hour to finish up when I asked him to spend some time with me. He sat down for 15 minutes before getting up to go for a jog. I have curry and homemade cakes to share!

niewiem · 19/08/2012 18:45

Happy belated birthday utopian :)
emily also haven't felt too many movements since yesterday, maybe just 5 in all, quite worried as she's usually all over the place! Even had a little cry Blush because of that..

PurplePidjin · 19/08/2012 18:47

St Clements is lovely in this weather - orange juice with bitter lemon :)
