Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Cookiesandcream06 · 12/06/2012 17:00

laura she sounds v similar to my DD. I bought mine a cheap pop up house that can be used inside and out, it's quite thin but was literally £9 I think- she LOVES it! Plays tea parties in it for ages. (pouring water from her teapot bloody everywhere while she does it).

I have the biggest obsession with bacon and sausage rolls/sandwiches, it is sure to be the reason my trousers wouldn't do up weeks ago Blush already had one today but debating another now damn it...

Cookiesandcream06 · 12/06/2012 17:02

No purple I'm SDH, and mine is fri 20th.. Although I'm sneaky and booked a private gender scan in Southampton for a few weeks before... My nosiness and impatience took over!

brooke89 · 12/06/2012 17:11

Just had my second scan for nuchal and all good and results were really good too Smile happy days!

Stacks · 12/06/2012 17:29

When are you going for a gender scan cookies? I thought it'd be too early before the 20w mark, but you're due about the same time as me...

I wonder if I can convince DH to go for a private scan, he does want to buy a new mac book..

CODwidow · 12/06/2012 18:08

You can have a gender scan from 16 weeks I had one with my last ds.

StrawberrytallCAKE · 12/06/2012 18:32

I booked my gender scan for 30th June, it was £90 so not as much as the other private scans we've had. Wondering if all these headaches mean its a boy, I don't know if that makes sense but a guess with the increased progesterone.

Chloe55 · 12/06/2012 20:16

A couple of us were fertility helped pregnancies so I bet that bumped up the chances on the whole (although I can safely say there is just one baby in there, unless they missed a twin at 3 scans! Grin)

Great news Brooke Smile

I am still absolutely knackered at 14w4d, still gipping about 20 times a day (not physical sick), still off food and still headachy-anyone else still feeling like dog poo at this stage and beyond?

PurplePidjin · 12/06/2012 20:19

Does round ligament pain feel like someone's trying to shove something sharp and spiky up there? Ouch!!! Shock

Mummycox · 12/06/2012 20:20

Evening all, yup still got headaches at 15 weeks, still feeling sick (may be trapped wind), still exhausted although that comes and goes, so any change well yes I'm not evening nauseous. Sure (hope) it'll settle down eventually. Oh and football is on perpetually too. Moan over.

Bellaboo123 · 12/06/2012 20:28

I've been feeling like poo the last few days too. Nearly fainted in a meeting at work today...so embarrassing! Already grown out my new wireless bras...took it off by lunchtime today...feeling exhausted and very sorry for myself...sorry to moan Sad

Cookiesandcream06 · 12/06/2012 20:28

strawberry and stacks yep 16 weeks, they claim to be >99% accurate and it cost me £79 I think. Mine too is on the 30th June as that's the first weekend after I'm 16 weeks. I've been having headaches still too, and pretty sure I didnt suffer like this with DD. my cravings are completely different (savoury) and I've gone off chocolate completely. Everything points towards boy, and everyone thinks boy, but will prob turn up on the 30th to be told girl! Which would save me a few quid in all fairness as we have a pretty pink house already..

HoneyMum21 · 12/06/2012 20:29

Evening everyone. Mummycox - i've had constant headache since thursday. :( hope yours gets better soon. I went to the dr today and she said it's probably a virus as glands are up too and BP is all good, so she's signed me off work to rest for a few days. Absolutely knackered - it didn't twig until she said that virus = tired, pregnant = tired so the two together will knock you sideways. Baby brain making me stupid!

Question for those of you who already have DC- when you start feeling your baby move do you know that's what it is? Does it feel different to wind or anything else? I've had a couple of fluttery feelings that i think is prob wind but i'm worried i'll miss bump's first movements by thinking it's something else!

SpottyTeacakes · 12/06/2012 20:35

Honey I felt dd at 16/17 weeks and it was like fluttering but it was lower down than wind, it was just above my pelvic bone. Felt a bit like a nervous twitch but deeper inside IYSWIM?

Pidjin I've had a few stabby feelings in my cervix when I'm sat down too hard Blush really, really hurt!

FriendofDorothy · 12/06/2012 20:36

There was a chance that we could have had twins as this is a Clomid baby. I am quite disappointed (only a little bit tho!) that there is just one in there!

PurplePidjin · 12/06/2012 20:36

Honey, the mw asked if I'd felt anything like that yet, so if you think it's the baby i'd say you're right :o

PurplePidjin · 12/06/2012 20:38

Spotty, this one came on out of nowhere while sat on the sofa!

Mummycox · 12/06/2012 20:40

Thanks honey, shocking Workload not helping either.

How exciting that we're approaching scan 2 time, and if you're not quite there yet then scan 1 must be just around the corner. Also very exciting.

No twins though?! Triplets then?

nasara · 12/06/2012 20:42

I think I have felt flutterings but can't be sure - can't wait to feel them for certain Grin.

Do we really not have any twins yet??

blackcurrants · 12/06/2012 20:49

My scan on Thursday, but oh fingers crossed no twins! We couldn't possibly afford it - this one will be a stretch as it is!

I just threw up, for the first time this pregnancy a proper shuddering puke. So weird as I have felt much better in the last two weeks - urgh. Hope it passes soon, whatever it is. 12 weeks now! :)

annelid · 12/06/2012 21:00

My scan if Friday afternoon, I'll be 13 weeks.

annelid · 12/06/2012 21:02

.....IS this Friday.....

giraffe213 · 12/06/2012 21:45

cookiesandcream, does craving savoury food and going off chocolate indicate a boy, or is it just because it's different than what you had before with a girl? Just wondering.

mumtoAG · 12/06/2012 22:08

Hello all! I just thought I'd pop by and say hello. DD 18th Dec with DC2, had scan last week (just one!). Haven't said hello before as I was a bit nervous about everything being OK, thankfully is so would like to mark my place if it's not too late to join you all!

Cookiesandcream06 · 12/06/2012 22:22

No giraffe not particularly, just one of those wives tale things, but for most of the women I know with DCs there has been a bit of a pattern. Who knows- always a 50/50 chance of a myth being right. I am having a different start in pregnancy than last time- no break outs (touch wood), savoury/salty rather than sweet cravings mainly, the headaches .. But at the end of the day means nothing I guess

Cookiesandcream06 · 12/06/2012 22:23

Welcome and congrats to mumtoAG lovely to have another join us Grin March was one Wink month!!
