Beyond She's not from the NW is she? Was talking to SiL and DH earlier, they're scousers and MIL gets DD and DN matching coats for Christmas and Easter but we all thought it was very much a Scouse 'thing' Grin

Have just got DD into bed, most unlike her to be kicking off at this hour. Can't stop piddling (me, not DD) and DC2 is now having a sodding party for 1 Hmm

Ooh - good luck digital!

It's after midnight now so officially 40+1 now. Bit Angry that someone called at 8.30am and again at 9 to check on us! Luckily I slept through - making the most of our final few lie ins! Had loads of calls/texts already - will be making the most of Fliss's link soon I think. Right - off to bed. No sign that anything is imminent here...

Can't wait to hear more good news in the morning. Grin

3-4cm dilated so am allowed to stay. Bouncing on a ball playing with the tens machine. Still haven't lost plug or popped waters.

You go digitalgirlyou sound like me last week.

I found 3-7cm quite hard , then once pass 7cm to 10cm not too bad with gas. And a hot hot hot hot water bath.
I went into hospital at 2/3cm on the Tuesday morning after speaking to them 2/3 times on the phone. They final agree to let me come in when contrations where still at 7 mins apart. I had bit off a sweep and they got me to 3cm. Then a bitch of a mw told me to go home..........:-(:-(:-(:-(:-(
she said I wasn't I full labour even thought I felt things were happening and id had a show and old blood was coming out. I starting to cry at her, didn't want to go home and the thought of still having the contrations without pain ref seemed really hard work. Bit she told me they had to be 2/3 mins apart.! ! !
We when home which is a 40min drive away, i was sooooo upset , hubby didnt know what to do. But I was stilling having them at 7-10 mins apart. I did manage to rest abit in between. I got on tenns machine and yet more baths at home.

Ah digital pools are great, hope it offers some comfort & the last few cm are gone shortly. There's going to be a little baby in your arms soon.

Buns - Thanks for the reassurance re breastfeeding. Good luck tomorrow. Did you buy any disposable Tena pants with the built in pad? They are very good for after caesarians.

I will try and post some pics of the baby today.

Yay digi, hope you have a lovely little snuggley newborn now!! :)

I went to bed last night convinced I was going to wake up in labour, very crampy and twingey and loads of knicker snot. Woke up this morning to, yep you guessed it, not a sausage!! Four days overdue now yes yes, I know fliss, not properly overdue til 42 weeks, lol, but it feels like a bloody month!

I have to take my mind off it. But not a clue how.

it really sucks being iverdue im only 2 days over but thats enough lol!!
I keep thinking its kicking off then nothing by morning so disapointing!!
my dd is having a nap dh at footie so just sat here annalysing every ache!!
