Thanks ladies! We got bumped to an even nicer family room yesterday so now have en suite and a big sofa - it's lovely! And Jools was a star last night so we all just slept around her feeds - I had more sleep last night than I got in 3 days on the ward!

Yes, visiting hours were 9-9 on the ward for fathers, but because of my BP I'm not allowed to be on my own, so he's actually had to stay for the last two nights. He's going a bit stir crazy but had a break for a couple of hours yesterday while SIL was here.

Oh that's good then ghost, I wouldn't fancy being separated from DH with our brand new baby all those nights, doesn't seem right!

Jools is doing some of her best sleeping right now, so I'm sure she's going to want to be awake all afternoon keeping us busy! It's fab that she's awake a bit more now - we've hardly seen her eyes yet! I think the hot ward was making her sleepy too.

Hi everyone, I'm back!! just need to spend some time catching up wow 2babies already!!! Congratulations bun and ghost!!

Got my BFP yesterday, so will be due 3 October- 2 days before my 30th... I thanked DP for my special birthday present when I found out yesterday!!!

I'm just slightly apprehensive about whether this one is going to be good and stay where it is!!!

Don't think I'm going to make an appt at the docs til next week.

What a lovely birthday present that will be, you might even share a birthday! My birthday's on the 9th so very close but had my 30th last year (sober like yours will likely be but all the more special of course!) so what was your DP's reaction like? How's he feeling about it?

bun I missed it where you said Lilly is not sleeping at all 11-6! Goodness, you must be shattered! So must she! Is she sleeping a lot in the day instead?

Congratulations babybrain! My little one was due Jan 12, 11 days before my birthday, so I was afraid I'd have a little birthday stealer . As it happens she arrived last week on the 18th and we got out of hospital yesterday, on my birthday proper .

I don't envy you the travel Mamma My last trip to London was December, so at about 5 months and I don't think I could have done another trip like that since. It's sooooo tiring! These days, if I have to be in the office more than once a week, I spend the weekend napping Although I've only got 45 days til D Day do that might have something to do with it I've been up since 3.30am this morning so today us going to be a seriously long one < that's a yawn

Carlita I was completely pooped! She's been sleeping very well through the day, naturally! Thankfully last night was much more civilised, waking for feeds every 2 hours and lots of lovely snuggles in between

Had midwife visit yesterday, Lilly's lost 5% of her birth weight so I'm very happy with that (they're happy if it's below 10%). Got her to check over her latching on and all looking good I'm so relieved that BFing is going so well it was such a source of stress with DS.

Just had a phone call from the children's hospital and they've booked us in for an ultrasound tomorrow afternoon to have a look at the cyst! So glad they're doing it so soon. Nervous already though!
