Hi, I am five and and half weeks pregnant with baby number two. However I had MC last July at six weeks so very nervous as well as excited. I am due a six week scan on Friday to check if all is well so far. Because of this we haven't told anyone except my parents which is really hard as last time we told all the family but it was a strain listening to their attempts at sympathy when it when wrong. So here I am to announce to anyone that cares to listen that after six months I am pregnant again!! Yeah.

ah well, I must be preggers. Have gone off sugary, creamy foods

kreamkrackers · 11/02/2006 19:14

just worked out how to put photos on mn! here's my dd! so what's everybody else's lo's look like?

Angeliz · 11/02/2006 20:20

Aw KK she's gorgeous.
here is my dd2. Don't have one up of dd1.

kreamkrackers · 11/02/2006 21:30

wow she is very pretty. such a lovely little girl.

HellKat · 12/02/2006 06:06

Wow you two!!! What little sweethearts!
I've put a piccy of my ds2 up (bit old but he still looks the same). I wanted to put the cute crimbo pix up but they were too big (and no idea how to shrink them lol).
How's everyone doing today? Hope everyone's feeling better (including little dd KK).

Piccy's on member profiles: HellKat's little man. Can't do links with this crappy ol' keyboard. Sorry.

kreamkrackers · 12/02/2006 09:12

where you go to add a message there's a guide next to it on how to insert smileys, at the bottom of it there's a description on how to insert a link to a website, i just followed them instructions but obviously gave the website address that was for that page instead (i have two mn pages up at the same time and flick between the two whilst i write the web address down). remember to always preview messages with a web link added as sometimes you just make a little mistake and then you don't get the webpage.
dp has taken lovely pictures on the digital camera of dd but i also don't know how to get the pictures smaller. my phones alright at taking photos but it's nothing like the digital camera pictures.

mabel1973 · 12/02/2006 09:13

morning ladies! Hope everyone is enjoying their w/e
Wow what cuties!
nothing to report really, my mum had ds last night, so we went out! 1st time since our wedding anniversary in december, so that was a a treat.
Would love to put a pic up of DS, but no idea how to do it, will have to investigate.
Homemama - hang on in their and think of that beautiful little person at the end of it x

HellKat · 12/02/2006 09:21

Can't do links at all because this knackered keyboard has no backspace button lol. I used to do it with my other keyboard until it broke. So will have to just copy & paste until we get a decent one

Well done Mabel on a night out!

mabel1973 · 12/02/2006 10:09

well I've tried and tried to get a link up of DS but I can't upload the picture.
I don't know if it's because we've got a mac? Although DH is a photographer so all the files are huge have tried saving them smaller but still no joy

Coriander73 · 12/02/2006 10:13

I've just had 7 pieces of toast with mamarlade...now I feel quite sick but I just had to eat them...what is going on??!!

HellKat · 12/02/2006 10:16

Lol you don't want to know what I've scoffed since 4.30am lol.
2 slices toast & strawberry jam
8 cream crackers with philadelphia
Bag of crisps!

In all fairness though, I hardly ate yesterday. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

HellKat · 12/02/2006 10:17

Cori- think your beanie likes marmalade? lol

compo · 12/02/2006 10:27

I pigged out yesterday - cereal for breakfast. Threw that up at work so had cereal bar and ribena in my break. Then massive cheese and pickle baguette and crips for lunch. Loads of biscuits and chocolate in afternoon and then chicken korma for tea. No wonder i'm 10st 7!! Last time only went up to about 11 stone. This time it will be about 12 stone plus!!

HellKat · 12/02/2006 10:32

I gained a horrendous amount with ds1. I was underweight to start off with (7stone) and went to 13 n 1/2! Hence where I got the stretchmarks from lol.
With ds2 I started off 9 & 1/2 and gained 28lbs exactly.
I was planning on losing my crimbo weight before I got pg this time (had gone from 8 &1/2 to 9stone) but was'nt meant to be. Weighed myself the other day and I'd gained only 1lb so far (bet I'll gained about 3 stone by the end) but that's the fun of being pg, not caring! As long as there's a healthy babba at the end that's all that matters.

puppy · 12/02/2006 17:00

Hiya,

When I was pg with ds I craved anything cold, colder the better it was winter and I used to stand outside to breath in the cold air, I even used to chomp on ice cubes.
hugs to you homemama, really hope for you it starts getting better.
kk hope your daughter is better real soon,
kk and angeliz your dd's are sooooo cute! hellkat your ds is such a cutie too
Heres a pic of my ds here please don't post on the thread, as its from when I mc and so don't wish it to be bumped

i have just eaten 4 crumpets with philly on followed by a teacake and a bag of c+o crisps lol and i am still hungry
.
With ds i only gained 14lb ( that was after he was born) but when terribly wrong with a bad choice in contraception ( put on 2 stone ). I am planning on going on a major diet when this beanie is born and get myself back into size 14 jeans.

kreamkrackers · 12/02/2006 17:05

welcome piffle. congratulations on your bfp

hk's little man

HellKat · 12/02/2006 17:12

Thanks Kk hun!
Puppy - awwwwww he's a cutie.
I craved ice cubes with ds1 lol.
I've had the best buy!!! I'm not getting any maternity clothes! I bought a couple of pairs of hipster jeans in the next size up and wow!!!!! They're soooooooo comfy. Ok they're massive on the legs & bum but around the tum they're heavenly! Where they're so low down nothing's against bump and there's room to expand! I'm such a bargain hunter and refuse to spend a fortune on clothes I may not wear again so I got these from Ebay for 4 quid each! Definitely the best investment. Gave up on my old jeans the other week because they dug into my belly.

kreamkrackers · 12/02/2006 17:12

oops forgot what post i was on when i wrote that about piffle. ignore me i'll put it on the other thread i was meaning to post it on before!

HellKat · 12/02/2006 17:14

Lol.
How's dd hun? Any better?

kreamkrackers · 12/02/2006 17:17

yeah she seems to be getting slightly better, so fingers crossed we're on the road to recovery which means no going into hospital. i think the humidifier helped a lot and all the baby vicks she's had put on to her vest!

HellKat · 12/02/2006 17:20

Good to hear!

puppy · 12/02/2006 17:21

thanks hkat can't beleive he turnd 4 yesterday.
glad yr dd is getting better kk

HellKat · 12/02/2006 17:24

I know time goes so quickly. my eldest's turning 14 in May and my little baby will be 2 in April! Only seems a few months ago he was born.

Coriander73 · 12/02/2006 17:29

I've now just had 4 slices of bread with marmite.........I feel so sick but I'm worse if I do nothing!! I put on 3 stone with dd & I really don't want to go there again but at the moment is just all stodge & too much of it. My belly is sticking out....do you think it's true you show quicker second time or is it all my bread??!!!!

Hmm.. crushed ice cubes...yum! Had an amazing ice craving with dd. One day late hot summer (dd also Sep baby!!) went off to have my "bits" (!) trimmed so I didn't look a state whilst giving birth ((a) had an emergency section b)I should have just left my dignity at the door!) & sent the therapist across the road to McDonalds for some crushed ice....I was so so so desperate...!!! Almost to the point of being certfied..I'm sure!!!

puppy · 12/02/2006 17:30

same age gap between my dsd and ds. its good as you have a live in babysitter
