Welcome zemmzy what a brilliant 'wedding present' that really is perfect!

I'm doing it slightly backwards, I'll have a 5yr old, 3yr old and 3mnth old at my wedding Blush

Anyway make yourself comfortable

Dalrymps · 30/10/2011 00:09

Sorry haven't been back all day, got family staying, came up for ds's bday tomorrow. No more blood since this morning and no pain. Felt terribly sick all day so things seem to be ok at the mo.

green hope things are fine for you. Fingers and toes crossed for you. Awful to have to wait till monSad

SleepyFergus · 30/10/2011 05:21

Green - hope you are doing okay and that there's been no more blood.

Dalrymps - that's good that there's been no more, hopefully just a one off. The sickness. Helps keeps you going iykwim. Crazy innit, to want to feel sick.

Kveta · 30/10/2011 06:26

hope everything is ok green.

we've been up since 4.20 this morning, yawn. have been violently sick already, dh was quite shocked! slumped in front of tv with ds now building up strength to make his breakfast!

biglips · 30/10/2011 07:10

kveta hope youre ok with your ms esp that youve woken up v early!.

greeng fingers cross that everything is ok with you?

Dalrymps well that sounds promising

well ive been woken up by my hunger since 6am and decided to get up at 7am. i need to have some biscuits by my bed as i feel so sick when so hungry but i cannot eat my normal size bowl of breakkie as i seem to fill up very quick!! so when i am hungry i feel like i could stuff my face but cant iykwim??.

greengoose · 30/10/2011 08:32

Thanks for all the support ladies. Thanks

I dont know what to think. I havent had anymore blood yet, but I do feel quite crampy. Maybe I was anyway, but Im just noticing it more? I think I am trying really hard to think 'thats it then', so that when I get scanned (hopefully tomm), if its bad news, I wont be too shocked.

Im going to try not to obsess today, so will let you all know if anything happens, if all just the same Ill let you know after scan tomm. (Its not helping for me to be thinking about it every second of the day)Confused.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of the weekend, and that those of you with LOs werent too badly hit by the clocks changing!!! (We were awake at 5.30.... still very very dark outside)!

ecstatica · 30/10/2011 08:37

Green - am thinking of you -- your DH is right, think positive, my friend bled with hers, all was good. x

Congrats Zemmzy :)

Still sick -- am now thinking of food in the way of 'what's that going to be like thrown up?' horrible.

2 Favours Please: When anyone is updating stats would u kindly change my 'no 4' to the actual hash sign. And can we have our appt/scan dates too? I'd like not to miss anyone especially as a few of us aren't telling anyone yet - will be good to share :)

Letting OH sleep on so we now the DSs have had brekkie we're watching transformers over twiglets! Good Sunday all -- any cooked dinners going? x

Carty80 · 30/10/2011 08:51

Yuck kveta 4.20! I thought our 5.30 wake up was bad! Really dislike the clocks changing, takes us weeks for DC to get into a pattern again!

Green Glad there has been no more blood. I have been having lots of cramping, just like a period starting but sure its just normal stretching etc. Good luck tomorrow, will be thinking of you.

Dalrymps Glad your still feeling sick and no more blood, sounds good.

Welcome Zem and congratulations on both the wedding and pregnancy!

big DH went and got me some ginger biscuits to keep by my bed, did help this morning just keeping the nausea away when you wake up.

Going to look at new cars today, exciting stuff! We went yesterday to one garage and the salesman just directed all the conversation at DH, really made me Angry so won't be going back there! Funnily enough thread in AIBU about that sort of sexism yesterday! It will be my car, I will be paying towards it, DH doesn't know about car seats etc so why talk to him!

Carty80 · 30/10/2011 08:54

Ecstatica I did think the same as you when I ate a curry DH made last night..that won't be good to see again..luckily I didn't!

Cooked dinner here later, but not sure if my stomach can handle me preparing the raw chicken....

Kayzr · 30/10/2011 09:05

Kveta you have my sympathy. I was awake about 4. I can't believe at just 6w+4 I need to go to the toilet during the night.

Zem welcome and congratulations!! Smile

Carty I hate that. Its like women can't possibly know anything. I'm a huge football fan and we go quite often and people always ask if I've been dragged there. No but DP has. Grin

Green I hope everything goes ok tomorrow.

Dalrymps glad that you've had no more blood and you're still feeling sick.

I'm still in bed watching the formula 1 eating crisps. Feeling quite sick this morning.

Rrrrayray · 30/10/2011 09:27

Morning all

Got away without problems with clock change. Let DD stay up an extra hour & adjusted her Gro clock before bed. Anyone who suffers with early risers, check the Gro clock. It's amazing, works a treat for us.

Been sickness in our house this morning, but fortunately not me, although nausea raging & heaving at any old smell. DD threw up straight after breakfast. Alot too. She said she had too much juice. I hadn't realised DH gave her yoghurt and juice, maybe it curdled?

Off to Disney on ice later on!

Greengoose - glad no more blood. Fingers crossed for you.

Hope your all feeling as well as can be expected xx

Xandrass · 30/10/2011 09:32

Hi all hope everyone is ok.
I've just felt like my periods about to start (only a bit less painful) all weekend, I hate it because even though I know it's normal I associate it with bleeding. That plus the extra 'wetness' most of you seem to be getting too. Trying to chill out and think positive but then I worry I'm tooooo positive if anything went wrong!

Exciting how some of you are having scans! I want to wait till mine to tell people but I'm going away for a few days with my mum so going to tell her tomorrow because she'll think I'm ill otherwise if I get sick at all.

Kveta · 30/10/2011 09:41

oh god, I am clearly not ready to look after another child. I just put lucozade in the washing machine and went to drink the fabric conditioner.

hope sickness abates for everyone and we can all enjoy halloween!

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 30/10/2011 11:01

Morning everyone.

kveta sounds a perfectly normal thing to do, I frequently put juice instead of milk in dps tea Hmm

green and dairy glad things seem to have settled for you both take care and keep rested xxx

Rrrray hope you and dd have a wonderful day :)

Just got up, my lie in, well actually not up I'm in bed still. Off to a pumpkin patch and a forest too today, hopefully going to make chocolate apples with the children too.

Hope every one has a nice day with minimal nausea Grin

Oh and I'm 7 weeks today [hgrin]

Twiglet100 · 30/10/2011 11:27

Morning everyone. Room for a late-comer? My due date is 10 June, so I'm around 8 weeks now. I've been a bit hesitant about joining as this is the 4th attempt after 3 MCs. But I had an early scan at 6+ weeks which showed a heart-beat (yay!) so I'm feeling cautiously positive :)

Is it rude to still be in bed?

MammaInTheMaking · 30/10/2011 11:27

Well I've been reading everyone's posts but not really had much to say hence lack of posting from me.

Although reassuring that's nasty for everyone feeling so sick. I hope it doesn't last too long, it can get so exhausting can't it?

For me, I had 1 week of nausea at 6 weeks and then it vanished. Was a little worried however my B cup boobs have grown massively and are harddd! Plus during the night my bladder is on a strict 3 hour cycle so I'm getting up at least twice. And occasionally the exhaustion is crippling. So basically I'm feeling positive and looking forward to my dating scan on 9th Nov. At the mo I think I'm 8+2.

I am sending a lot of luck and wishes to green. the amount of blood is very tiny so hopefully it really is all ok.

Happy weekend everyone Smile x

SeriouslyStrongCheddar · 30/10/2011 11:45

Morning all!

green - fingers crossed for you.

Dalrymps - glad things seem okay for you at the moment.

Welcome Zem and Twiglet!

Well, although it's very early days I've just told my mum that she's going to be a gran. Wasn't planning on telling them until after the first scan, but every time I speak to her (I only speak to her once a week as they live quite a way away) it's like the 'don't mention the war' sketch in Faulty Towers - it's all I can think of! If I hadn't told her I wouldn't have been able to concentrate enough to have a sensible conversation with her for weeks.

She seems quite excited (first granchild) although the highlight seemed to be that she can now enter the granny competition at the golf club Hmm Grin. I'm expecting an excited call from my dad when he's back from his round of golf! Actually feel better for having told her - one less thing to worry about!

Right, mid morning snack of lemon & coriander humous and Carr's tablewater biscuits has beaten the nausea into submission for a while so I'm off out to the gym now that DH has rigged up an old DVD player to replace the one built in to the TV out there that stopped working. Nothing like an episode of Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman and a walk on the treadmill to help me justify a lazy afternoon afterward!

HorseyGirl1 · 30/10/2011 12:23

Glad to hear someone is craving Lucazade too! xx

Kayzr · 30/10/2011 13:01

I'm craving lucozade too. But not drinking it. I craved it with DS2 and drank loads. The MW thinks that's why he was 10lb 5oz. So I am avoiding it now. Sad

SleepyFergus · 30/10/2011 13:36

In my last pregnancy I craved coke. Full fat, icy cold coke from a can. That was v important. DH would only let me have a couple of sips because of the caffiene. Envy

But I've just discovered that 7Up and Sprite are caffiene free (but not diet - can't abide diet drinks) and that's satisfying me this time round.

birdofthenorth · 30/10/2011 13:44

Hi all! Loving the new thread. I have been sick as a dog this weekend -awful nausea & dizziness. Missed my birthday trip to the theatre last night to lie down Sad

Hoping it clears up by tomorrow as DH is working away & I will be in sole charge of DD1 who has bot got the memo that Mummy feels rough... or that the clocks have gone back... she woke up at 5:30 new time!

Kayzr · 30/10/2011 18:02

I've been feeling awful all day. Really really sick. Sad I'm starving but when I go to eat I just feel like throwing up.

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 30/10/2011 18:25

Hope it relents soon kayzr xxx

I've had a hectic day, went to a pumpkin patch with the dcs and chose 3 pumpkins, ate doughnuts Grin then went to our local forest and did an amazing sounds trail, came home to make chocolate apples ready for tomorrow and now watching a kids halloween flick.

Back to school tomorrow for ds, no more quiet pace of life :(

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 30/10/2011 18:26

Happy birthday for birdof, so sorry you missed the theatre. Feel better soon xxx
