Got the bloods done eventually, 2hr wait for blood clinic, but both arms are so bruised its quite painful to move them at all :(

Had an awful day actually, after non stop intimidation since moving here in july from one neightbour, he upped his game today and followed our car for 20mins and round a carpark before blocking us in and hammering on the window. Dp is no wall flower so got out and told him to back off. Hand on heart we've done nothing to antangonise his bizare behaviour. Mil and sil were with us so mil had a very stern word and informed him he's a disgrace and to expect to hear from the police for driving recklessly and intimidating a young dad with his pregnant partner and sister, old mum and two young children (her words not mine). We've reported it all and are waiting for a visit to make our statements.

On a brighter note had a weekend with sil who's a month behind me so weve been having a great time talking babies! And mil seems enthusiastic about it all.

Sickness and nausea seems a LOT better which worries me a lot as I'm paranoid! I feel like I can't have 3 healthy pregnancys. Can't wait for my scan so I can relax a little.

WhyAlwaysBoris · 28/11/2011 16:16

Hello everyone
Scan brilliant.
Had a little weep when the hunkerer actually appeared on screen!

I agree with Warlin not telling anyone is getting to be hard, relieved it is only until the weekend now for me.

Good luck millyv, hope your scan is going well.

kayzr oh poor you! Isn't it amazing that something so small can hurt so much. Have you tried eating crushed ice or (more trashily) crushed up ice lollies? The only thing that ever helped me with it- temporarily numbing!

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway :( sounds dreadful. So sorry!

I have just come in to a really unpleasant work email which has taken the shine off my day somewhat. Have replied as best as i can, but feel pretty wretched about it.

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 28/11/2011 16:28

WAB glad your scan went ok, its such a huge relief seeing them the first time and emotions kind of take over. Can't wait to see this one!

Hope things with work are ok xx

PinkPepper · 28/11/2011 16:56

Havn't posted much, felt rubbish and keep worrying (though not sure why) so felt weird about it. Feel bit better today, saw midwife on Friday, got my scan 19th Dec, she said I was due 30th so I'm going to add myself onto stats before the thread goes to a new one. I also changed my name (from Xandrass)

Hope everyones well, glad people are having nice scans, mine seems ages off still

Hello everyone

Kayzr hope you recover soon from the horrible tonsillitis. Hang in there girl.

Mrskitchen Good luck for the scan tomorrow. I can't wait for mine. I agree with you, I dodn't know how all these brave women are coping with DCs and pg.

WAB Great news about the scan. It's great to read everyone's scan stories.

Ecstatica Hope you feel better soon and the sickness disappers for all of us soon.

I had to wake up at 2.30 last night to puke my guts out that woke everyone up . Bless my Mum- she made me a snack which then meant I could sleep peacefully for the rest of the night. I had an appt at maternal medicine as i have had 2 UTIs so far. They scanned my kidneys and thankfully all was well. I hope all goes well at the nuchal scan tomorrow.

Kayzr · 28/11/2011 19:17

Wab that's so great about the scan!! And BOO to work!!!

The dr rang today to let me know that the urine sample I gave the MW shows I have an urine infection. I totally give up!! Grin I might as well live on antibiotics.

ffnorm · 28/11/2011 19:29

Fabulous news about your scan WAB did they keep your due date the same?

Waiting to hear about your scan millyv

Welcome back pinkpepper like the new name!

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 28/11/2011 21:21

Evening all!

I've finally cooked again! And ate a decent meal, I'm relieved and the dcs wolfed it down which was lovely.

Sorry to hear about those who are on anti b's hope you're all better soon. My scans on the 8th and it seems so so far away!

millyv · 28/11/2011 21:29

Hi ladies!
Sorry it's taken so long to reply but been on cloud 9 all afternoon! Saw the little one, it was kicking and waving the arms around- so cute!
Hope everyone is feeling better today!
Xxx

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 28/11/2011 21:36

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 28/11/2011 21:42

Everyone over here!!!

I've started a new thread as this ones barely loading for me and last time we didn't manage to link the new one before it jammed shut!

Also I have the stats in the OP so easier to keep track of and update.

GloriaTheHighlyFlavouredLady · 28/11/2011 21:57

Hiya. Starlight here again. Having a horrendous time in another aspect of my life so this little baby isn't getting much of a look in for my energy Sad but did have the dating scan today which was great.

They bumped me forward 2 days but I am sticking with the due date I have for now.

Can anyone else feel their baby move? I got a right wriggler. I've been thinking that I was imagining it for about a week but I'm pretty sure now. The sonographer couldn't get a picture of the baby so I told her I can make it move as I feel it if I do a particular wiggle. She was amazed but I was proved right. I did it and told her that the baby has moved now and sure enough it had to a perfect position.

mrskitchen · 28/11/2011 22:42

Wowee Gloria, I'm most envious of your little wriggler, keep hoping that i feel something but most likely gas!
Congrats GreenGoose, Milly and WAB, so glad things went well for your scans.
Kayzr & Jingle sorry you're feeling rotten, hope it gets better soon. My nausea has come back with a vengeance but glad of it as I panic when symptoms go away!
Miniangel, will be thinking of you tomorrow, hoping for a good result for both of us. Ayeee, so scary but exciting too, sure i will cry buckets when i see it!
Everyone else, sorry I can't think straight!
Sleep well, ladies, will update you tomorrow. x
