Sleepy I have that too. It's very annoying.

Dalrymps I hope it's all ok. Smile

Carty80 · 29/10/2011 12:41

Hi all, dalrymps hope it stays at just a spec and everything is ok, try not to worry too much.

sleepy so glad you mentioned about having discharge, I couldn't remember it from last pregnancies and kept rushing to toilet but glad to see others are having it too.

Rrrray I took DD and DS last week, DD loved first half, and DS loved both halves! 2nd half is just Toy Story so DD almost 3yrs wasn't that interested but the whole experience is great, hope you enjoy!

Tea Glad you got a scan and saw heartbeat, must be so reassuring.

Not much to report, feeling very bloated and sicky. In a bit of a bad mood so am trying not to start any silly arguements with DH! Think I may head upstairs, put some daytime tv on and put away some washing.

Have a nice day all.

Tanamera · 29/10/2011 14:19

yes to the discharge...ugh.

Not much burping, but my wind is quite remarkable [hblush]

I decided to have two days off work at the end of last week - fed up of sitting in front of my laptop wanting to chuck, so thought I'd like on the sofa feeling like that instead. Having a 'better' day today...I hit 9 weeks tomorrow, so I hope and pray I only have another 2 weeks max of feeling bleurgh - if last pregnancies are anything to go by.

I've told all my friends and family - just work really that I have left, and the general 'public'.

About to go and carve pumpkins with husband and daughters - I suspect the competitive streak in both of us will come to the fore...

greengoose · 29/10/2011 15:00

Hi all, I am away for two days and there is a shiny new thread!! Congrats to all newbees!!

Dairymps how are you?? Early pregnancy can be scary cant it? I hope things settle down for you.

Kayzr I think it was you that mentioned about missing blue cheese?? Well, according to the NHS site advice has changed, and stilton is fine!!!! I can hardly believe this. Its only cheese with a soft rind, like gorgonzola or brie, or unpasturized thats not ok. (so most goats cheese is fine too). Rare beef is also OK, as long as its from a cut not a rolled joint. Sushi is also seemingly fine. I was amazed. Im sure all this has changed since my two DSs!!

I am knackered. Busy busy at work, and keep having to double check myself because of dizzy preg head. Cant be bothered getting into things, and resenting having committed to projects before BFP that Im now having to see through. Oh well, its all money I suppose!

Going to (finally) go to docs on monday. Think I have an ulcer or something, either that or worlds worst indigestion!! He'll offer me a scan because of prev MCs, so I didnt want to go before 8 weeks as I hate it when its not clear everything is OK. Hopefully they can scan me Tues or Wed (its never busy here). SCARED STIFF to be honest. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies, I really want this one to work out, dont know if I would have the heart to go through it all again!

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 29/10/2011 15:31

Fingers crossed for you green :)

I'm off to register for a GP monday so I can then get on the midwife books

HorseyGirl1 · 29/10/2011 16:09

HI all. Haven't been on here for a few days and see you have moved house already! Had my first scan on Thurs and we're 8 weeks and now 4 days today. Heard heartbeat and just started to cry and cry. Singleton this time and a massive 1.8cm (yes that's less than 2cms)! Knowing that just makes me want to cry again! How can someone this tiny have a bump around them this size already? Hugs to all who need them and hope all OK. Every day is a victory Greengoose. xx

misslaughalot · 29/10/2011 17:59

Well I've felt completely fine all day, it seems by bout of sickness yesterday afternoon may just turn out to be a one off? Would I be that lucky?

DP has been working all afternoon and I can't believe it but I've done ALL my Christmas shopping online in a few hours! That has never happened before and I feel quite chuffed with myself, and glad that I won't have to haul myself round the shops over the next few weeks!

Sorry for the gloating! Hope everyone else's weekend is a good one!

I'm 5w+4 today.Last three days at work and it's been ok but today I felt so tired I thought I'll fall asleep while cooking dinner.Just had a nap to recoverWinkNo other symptoms.I can't wait till Mon as I have midwife booked see what she says...i'm hoping for an early scan as mc in Jan..

Fingers crossed for you green

SeriouslyStrongCheddar · 29/10/2011 18:35

Evenin' all!

green - hope all goes well for you at the scan.

Well, since getting back from the hairdresser I've just sat on the sofa and watched DVDs then had a little doze! The bad night's sleep last night has really caught up with me and I'm shattered. Time to watch Strictly then go for a good sleep.

Hope you all have a good evening.

openerofjars · 29/10/2011 19:05

Dalrymps, how are you doing?

Well, it turns out I now have afternoon sickness. Bleargh. But yippee.

Am I being a bit previous to give my skinny jeans to a friend who is having a clothes crisis? I can't wear them as they dig in painfully and it seems a shame to just shove them to the back of the wardrobe, but my scan isn't for another three weeks.

Good luck with the scan, Greengoose, and what? Stilton is fine? Get on!

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 29/10/2011 19:30

I've worked out by christmas ill have had my 12wk scan, that makes it seem much closer

Also would it be a bit naughty to fib and say my dates are week more than they are so ill have scanned before dps parents come to stay? I can't bear another weekend with them keeping it a secret, ill be 12wks when they visit so going to fib and get a scan at 11wks, is that really bad, it is isn't it.

ecstatica · 29/10/2011 19:39

Hi girls,
I've just sat down to read every post but can't remember who to reply to, so congrats newbies, seeing lovely heartbeat, buying new baby gear...upcoming work trip (good luck), and hugs to all. Specifically remembering:

Teanandhobs - That's good news - now you know what's been causing the pain, had a big cyst removed few years ago -- i sympathize and hugs x

I have been terribly sick Envy now for 48 hours. I eat like a horse and throw up, try to snack and feel so hungry i could die, it's a vicious circle. I took the kids to the seaside and stopped by mcdonalds which is a rarity here, threw it all up on returning home, crying like a baby and just spilt the beans to lady we know that works in petrol station she made a few comments magnums' twiglets, tortilla chips etc...all for someone who is green with sick! Spilt the beans to pack my bag and leave and find huge queue behind me Blush

is anyone else this sick?!?!?' I have no energy and am either puking, or crying.

JJBean -- I've had 3 secs! I asked consultant after last one if i looked ok for another, she said yes so guessing it will be ok but i am worried and will speak to the mw at appt. It's all come back to me. Walking on crutches from 34weeks, blood infusions and horrid epidural.........eughhhhhhhhh

Moving home in 13 days! help ....

ecstatica · 29/10/2011 19:44

lots of x posts congrats horsey exciting news happy for u x

greengoose - there u r!!!! keep us posted...2 days is a long time on this rollercoaster ride x

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 29/10/2011 19:54

Ecstatica that's a real relief to know someones had more than two, I was warned if I had anymore dcs a vbac is out of the question --no complaints there, honestly-- I'm just anxious as I have two scars Confused

I was like that last time with starving/sick this time I'm the same but not actually being sick just feeling it! Hope it passes soon xx

greengoose · 29/10/2011 20:49

Well, Im now having a proper panic. blood when I wiped this evening (tiny pink smear you had to squint at, but def blood), then had bath, and nothing since, but I do feel a bit achy, so Im expecting bad things TBH. This is how it started the twice before now, so I think Ill sit it out to monday then phone EPU. I HATE THIS I HATE THIS I HATE THIS.

TeaandHobnobs · 29/10/2011 21:18

Oh greengoose I have everything crossed for you!!!

greengoose · 29/10/2011 21:25

thanks T&Hs I have my legs crossed. OH is trying to reassure me that I also bled with both my boys.... but Im still scared, and thinking monday is a long way to wait

TeaandHobnobs · 29/10/2011 21:28

Is there nowhere you could go before then? The EGU I went to yesterday is open over the weekend - but that may just because it is a large London teaching hospital.

openerofjars · 29/10/2011 21:32

Oh heck, fingers crossed, green. What tea said about the EPU.

JjandtheBeanplusPud · 29/10/2011 22:00

Everything crossed green, ring out of hours doctors, surely someone can reassure you some how. Take care xxxxx

Rrrrayray · 29/10/2011 22:03

Greengoose - sending hugs. Do you have your midwife number? At
My GP appt I was given an envelope with midwife name, including mobile number? Surely she could give you some pointers? Failing that... Root out the EPU number? We are still pregnant on weekends, someone must be around... I hope.

Thoughts with you. All crossed x

Kayzr · 29/10/2011 22:04

Thinking of you Green I hope you can find somewhere open tomorrow. X

Carty80 · 29/10/2011 22:07

Green Hope everything is ok and you get seen soon. xx

Zemmzy · 29/10/2011 22:40

Hello fellow June 2012 mummy's to be :) Room for one more???

I found out earlier this week i'm expecting...due around the 21 June 2012. DH & I returned from a lovely honeymoon (after a brilliant wedding day)....& I started having some symptoms (tiredness, sore breasts...then a missed period) - took a test & it was +ive! Still a little shell-shocked - but very excited!!

1st midwife appointment isn't until the 23rd Nov - so i'm comforted to know the cramping & bloatedness is 'normal'. Only me, my DH and our pooch know....we're going to tell friends & family at xmas.

No sickness so far.....i'm just trying to work out what foods I should/shouldn't be eating! Thank goodness for MN :)
