JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 13:38

Welcome drop and congratulations! Xx

I'm so so tired, if I'm up before 8.30am ill fall asleep again 9ish and doze on and off, or if I have stuff to do ill crash at around 3pm. Feel like a terrible mum to dd and ds as I'm just too exhausted.
For some reason any home cooked meal makes me nauseaus, so I'm living off cereal, fishfinger sandwiches and plain pasta with some grated cheese. Which won't be helping.

Finally filled out all my notes! There is LOADS there!

Kayzr · 23/11/2011 13:49

Drop welcome and congratulations.

Jj oh I could just eat pasta and grated cheese. I've booked my tickets for Breaking Dawn to see it FridayGrin

I got my scan date today. It's the 7th December so 2 weeks today. I can't wait.

thedogwalker · 23/11/2011 13:58

Bird I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, my htuoghts are with you and your family.
I was unable to come on MN yesterday as I was unable to do most things. I had my first day of full on morning sickness which lasted from the moment I woke up until I went to be. I couldn't eat or drink, felt like I had cement churning in my stomach, still not working on full power today, but at least the sickness feelings are in smaller bouts.

Welcome Drop you need to find the last list and then copy, paste and add your details.
JJ I feel your pain with the tiredness, It's killing me, working 10 hour days, coming home and then sorting out DS 1 and then housework, can't wait for DH to come home in 5 1/2 months time. God I'll be compeltely knackered by then and in need of some serious TLC.
Hope everyone is feeling better than me. Take care all xx

thedogwalker · 23/11/2011 13:58

Bird my thoughts are with you and your family.

ecstatica · 23/11/2011 14:25

welcome drop :)

Kay -- Hurray for scan date :)

JJ -- I hear ya! I'm actually in bed as I type this! The pains started and then the throwing up and I'm feeling like a truck hit me. DC have had all their lessons this morning, however, I'm feeling bad that I didn't make the promised park trip but they don't seem too bothered having played in garden and now watching Transformers (again). Och aye, it will all be worth it in the end....Hmm

Dog Walker -- You're doing a great job!!!! I hope it won't last too long, good that its in smaller bouts now too. I've had this for every PG right till end but still can't help hoping it will pass.

Miniangel Greengoose Twiglet Dalrymps Strong cheddar and everyone else who i haven't seen for a few days. Hope you are all well xx

Warlin · 23/11/2011 15:53

Hi All

welcome "drop*

kay great news on the scan.....got mine on the 2nd and excited but scared..

The tiredness is killing me too...hats off to all those with kids :o Don't know how you cope, esp you dogwalker with your DH away. I am shattered most times and can't focus in work. Have been getting ratty with my poor puppy who just wants to play constantly! Poor wee pet doesn't know why I'm less keen to play football than normal :)

Hoping it will pass soon. I got some relief at the weekend and now its back.

I'm eating sooo much these days..I'm turning into a proper blob:) I only want plain food though...last night was supernoodles...felt like a student again!

Hope everyones days is ok and you all have a restful and sick free evening.

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 16:01

TeaandHobnobs · 23/11/2011 17:11

Afternoon all,

Not had much to say the last couple of weeks, but this morning I had my booking in with the midwives - a lovely community team who are so friendly and lovely, DH and I are really happy to have them.

Then went off for my scan - and it turns out I should have rebooked, as I was too early for the combined test Sad stupid teaandhobnobs! So they didn't take my bloods, but let me have the scan anyway - which was great because DH hasn't seen anything so far, and I asked them to check my corpus luteum cyst... Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have gone down in size (was almost the same size as my bladder! Shock) but it hasn't been causing me any more severe pain, so fingers crossed when I go back in a couple of weeks, it may have reduced.

So I'm 9+6, rebooked for combined test on 7 Dec (not looking forward to more bloods!). We will probably tell my parents this weekend, and I would like to tell my boss soon, although will probably keep it quiet apart from that for a bit longer.

I'm battling a nasty cold at the moment too - I hate not being able to take anything other than paracetamol!

Hope things are progressing well with everyone else?

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 17:19

Well I have my booking in saturday and my scan booked for the 8th dec so ill be almost 13wks by my calculations.

Bit real now!

sillywmama · 23/11/2011 17:33

had my booking in today with my GP, no scan date yet! I'm hoping to have a private MW through the local birth afterthoughts (trauma) service, as it was offered to me after my last baby. My SPD is really painful today so my GP is recommending an ELC date 2 weeks before my due date, which means even though I'm roughly due 17th I'm likely to be booked in for the 3rd June.

I know a lot of people are anti elc, but as I'm currently applying for my blue badge and gearing up for 7-9 months needing crutches (at the least) I have to say I am v. glad that it's an option for me, DH agrees. I want to be happy and excited but the combination of horrible back ache, fanjo pain, and relentless sickness has been getting to me today. Sorry for the whinge.

very exciting to hear about all the scans, I hope everyone else is starting to feel much better :) on the plus side, the sickness at least should be lifting in a fortnight or so.

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 17:45

silly both of my dcs were elcs, and I'd be prepared to fight tooth and nail for this one to be also!

Ds was as I had 6 failed inductions and they were scared wed loose him unless he was got out asap! Dd was suspected to have the issues ds did but also very close to last csection so scar concerns. Now I have two seperate scars to my uterus and still suffer from twinges with my first scar so I'm anxious, and my mum is adamant I won't be allowed an elcs even though they warned me having dd by elcs meant they wouldn't advise a vbac for atleast 5yrs, dd is 3.

That said I've seen on think baby elcs are going to be available to all.

Dalrymps · 23/11/2011 17:59

Scan went fine today and I am 12 weeks on the dot. The one days difference means I am now due on my birthday - 6th June!Smile

The sonographer also though she saw a fibroid but said not to worry to much about it. Said it could cause heavy periods in the future - greatConfused

How is everyone?

Dalrymps · 23/11/2011 17:59

By the way, will adjust the list when I'm not on my phone..

sillywmama · 23/11/2011 18:23

good luck jingles I hope you have a delivery you feel really happy with this time, I just saw the stuff about elcs being made available to everyone too so that's good news :) I'm certainly not looking forwards to major surgery but I do think women should be allowed to make an informed decision about all their options, so I'm very pro-choice on this issue!

dalrymps congratulations! How lovely to share a birthday, I hope fate smiles on you if you want that to be the case. Rubbish about the fibroid though, I hope it doesn't cause much in the way of future probs for you.

I just got off the phone from my lovely, lovely MW who is going to book me in for my scan and booking in appt asap. I

Florin · 23/11/2011 18:30

Afternoon everyone, scan dates are coming in thick and fast! Mine came in today's post it's on 7 December. I can't wait for it to be all official! Got my work christmas party on the 9 December so hoping to announce before then so don't have to make any silly excuses why I am not drinking. Going to ask sonographer for the back of the neck measurement and as long as measurement is in normal range not going to hold back announcing! I can't wait hopefully in 2 weeks time my pregnancy will all be official and I can shout it from the rooftops!
Booked a private scan for this evening so I can check up on baby got my fingers crossed its all ok in there, feeling suitably awful today so hopefully that is a good sign!

WhyAlwaysBoris · 23/11/2011 18:33

Dalrymps so glad your scan went well. Maybe the baby will be your best ever birthday present.
My scan is next monday so i'm practically vibrating with excitement now!
I still feel very sick though, 13 weeks tomorrow so i was hoping it would have eased by now.

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 18:46

silly a planned elcs is the calmest experience ever, I found it some what surreal, knowing when dd would be born from 12wks, driving to the hospital knowing etc, makes child care for older dcs a doddle, and recovery for me wasn't bad at all. I'm just paranoid about my old scars, as ds was in an awful posistion, hence having a new one for dd.

JjingleBeanplusPudalltheway · 23/11/2011 18:48

Oops posted too soon.

Glad everything went well dairy could be an eventful birthday for you then!

Good luck for monday boris and for the 7th florin my scans the day after yours!

Kayzr · 23/11/2011 19:49

Florin I hope the scan goes well for you. I have my scan on the 7th too. I can't wait to see baby again.

We're going shopping on Saturday. I will have to be really strict as I already want to get a few baby bits I've seen that I like.

Kveta · 23/11/2011 19:54

Dalrymps I'm 12 weeks today too :) couldn't work out my due date, as the sonographer last week told me how many weeks I was, but refused to be drawn on a due date for some reason! I have another scan on the 8th of December which will apparently be my official dating scan, plus nuchal screen, but it's useful to know that due date is the 6th now :o

DS just did the most offensive nappy in weeks, it was rancid. He has gone from food refusal a week or two ago to now inhaling anything he can find in the house - he's been like a human dustbin all week! nursery even commented that he was having 2 helpings of everything this week, whereas he is usually more restrained. So I feel a growth spurt coming along!!

Florin · 23/11/2011 19:58

Oh my god just had a private scan it was completely amazing saw baby kicking away. It was a great place with huge tv on the wall to see baby on. We heard the heartbeat too which brought a tear to my eye. And he said nucual (sp?) fold measurement looked really good too didn't think they could see that at 9+6! We are completely buzzing going to let myself have half a glass of champagne to celebrate!
