I can see why FF might have thought you'd ovulated on CD9 as your temps did go up afterwards. I think CD15 is much more likely though looking at all your signs. Could anything have made CD10 and CD11 artificially high? Did you take your temp at the usual time? Did you have any alcohol to drink the night before? That doesn't explain the spotting though!

Kayzr · 15/09/2011 22:09

I don't know. I took them all about half 6 except CD16 or 17 when we all woke up late and it was half 7. Thats when it jumps to almost 37.

SESthebrave · 16/09/2011 06:40

Eek - BFP this morning at 13dpo!
How many emotions is it possible to feel all at once? Predominantly scared and excited.

Giraffe - how are your symptoms this morning?

Hoooorayyyy Ses!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Grin

Congratulations!!! sending my stickiest vibes over your way - that is fab!!!

Am so thrilled for you!! Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Not sure at my end. Spotting back plus didnt wake early ( though I am also exhausted after long week) so think Im right on track for a AF. Tempted to test anyway to confirm it to remove speculation now!

SESthebrave · 16/09/2011 06:57

Thanks! Grin - I think!

I'm holding out for you as it would be great to be pg buddies

Would be good - had been thinking that myself! We might have Kayz with us next month? you can be our leader! :)

Kayzr · 16/09/2011 07:56

YAY SES!!!!! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

I told you that chart looked brilliant!!!! I'm so so so happy for you. I'll send you some blue tack, pritt sticks and any other sticky stuff I find!!!!

AF has fully started now a full week earlier than I expected.

Rugbylovingmum · 16/09/2011 07:58

CONGRATULATIONS SES!!!!!!!!!!!! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

Sending sticky vibes your way. I'm so pleased for you!

Hoping Giraffe and Kayz join you soon.

Diege · 16/09/2011 09:09

SES!!!! A honk-less honk Grin Grin Grin. I had a feeling looking at the staircase pattern on your chart, plus you feeling so emotional at work. I am over the moon for you, you really deserve this. I am crossing everthing that can be crossed for you that you have a really boring, uneventful pregnancy Grin
GING, I think I would be tempted to test now if I were you (and I've been there on many occasions), just so that yu have an inkling of what's going on. Having said that, if this was implantation bleeding it would generally be 3 days or so after implantation at the very least before you would get the faintest of lines. What cd are you on now?
KAYZ, hmm, see what you mean about your chart Confused. I think I would assume the earlier ovualtion persoanlly, but ff does mess with your head!
All fine here, though getting a bit panicky about the transverse lie. I do have a birth ball, and have also been doing a lot of 'all 4's work' Grin (and I don't mean that in a dirty way, shudder) but have abandoned the gymnastics you'll be pleased to hear RUGBY Grin
Off to toddler group this morning, then out for a rare meal with friends in LIverpool tonight Smile

SESthebrave · 16/09/2011 09:51

Thanks everyone :)
Didn't want to HONK as the way my body works, you could end up with a dozen honks from me before you get one worthwhile!

I welcome all glue, blu-tac, post-its and other sticky stuff though :)

OP posts:
GingerbreadGiraffe · 16/09/2011 10:18

Hello

Lots of superglu enriched brownies being faxed over to Ses!!! Brew

Diege-Hope the transverse solves its self soon.

Thanks for positivity. I did test just now (wasnt FR though) and was BFN- as expected really.

I am on CD29 of expected cycle of 32 days. I have fairly consistent 14days between peak of EWCM peak and AF starting so I am assuming that despite the long cycle I think the LP is ok. So guess that means I ovulated on CD 18ish, so just after the peak of EWCM- so I am currently 11dpo.

TBH, I think I am out of the game this month - but I am glad to remain positive til the fat lady signs!

tinkbig · 16/09/2011 11:14

ses Grin sending over all stickyness

going to deliver more tonite

smithylovesme · 16/09/2011 14:00

Congratulations SES :o :o

I have been lurking for a while and kept having to check back on SES as i thought the chart looked good. So happy for you lots of prayers coming your way for a sticky one. :o

Moosy · 16/09/2011 18:50

Yay Ses! So happy for you and your honkless honk :) I really hope it all goes smoothly for you, do you think they'll give you an early scan?

I've been lurking for news too, very very busy here with DD2 starting school and doing half days this week, and I've got to deliver my second wedding cake tomorrow, it's as finished as I can get it before setting it up at the venue in the morning, eek!

Rugby, wow and well done for handing your notice in, I hope you find something suitable in time before the money runs out :)

Good luck with the 2ww Ginger, I had implantation bleeding with DD3 (but not the others), a reasonable amount about 3 days before I thought AF was due, I thought it had come early, but then it stopped after a day. Totally confused me, Sorky had to tell me to test, duh! When will you test again?

GingerbreadGiraffe · 16/09/2011 19:31

Great to see some old faces on here today.

Hi Smithy - I think I know who you are- recently back from living overseas?

Hi Moosy - lovely to hear from you too! Your cakes are looking truly amazing. I love looking at the FB pics of them. good luck with the delivery tomorrow! Hope DD2 is doing ok at school - its a big change for them :-)

Thanks for story of implantation bleed. I am thrilled to read of cases where it actually was I-bleeding and pregnancy resulted :)

Spotting continues- which is really normal for pre AF for me. I usually get 3 days of it before main event. BUT i am only 11dpo so I am hanging in there. I think the 2ww is all about clutching at straws really!!

If it doesnt turn into AF, I may POAS on monday AM. Similarly to Ses on Thurs, I had a dreadful day at work which is quite emotionally draining so I may well delay things on account of this.

Maybe Ses's honkless honk will bring back some more Wagoners!

Tink- since reading about your catalogues I've made extra effort to put mine out for the collector, when I've previously been bad at this Blush

How is everyone else?

Starshinetiger · 16/09/2011 20:24

Ses huge congratulations - sending really sticky vibes your way! So thrilled.

Ginger hoping for the best for you.

Diege sorry for transverse lie, hope some of the activity moves him.

Rugby good to see you back on here. Sorry you've had to hand your notice in but glad for you that you've made that decision. I know how interminable that notice period thing is - 2 months of mine left to go, but we need that money to bolster the emergency fund. Hope you find something soon - are you still considering teaching?

Gruff lovely to see you on here fleetingly - sorry to hear that the 4-6 month stage has hit - I remember that being tough! Do come on here and offload if you need to.

Moos how has DD2's first week gone? DS started this week too - just half days so far, so have had the week off work - goes full-time on Tues. He's loving it - I am a typical first time parent of a schoolchild - all nervous for him and trying not to show it. There is so much of his day I don't know about now!

Right - being strict Mummy tonight and trying to get DD back into falling asleep on her own at night (had lapsed since her operation) - took 1.25 hours last night - hoping we can improve on that tonight - been 20 mins so far tonight, but at least she's not screaming like last night Hmm - doing reassurances, hope it works within the week!)

Smithy great to see you on here!

Starshinetiger · 16/09/2011 20:27

Tink glad you had a good childless weekend - sorry not so many catalogues out.
Kayz sorry for being out this month - hope DP home soon.

at anyone I've missed!

tinkbig · 16/09/2011 20:37

evening

hi moosy - good luck with cake tom Grin

ginger - good luck

hi star - thanku well done putting books out

delivered another 40 when dh got home picking up sun

Rugbylovingmum · 16/09/2011 20:46

Hi all,

lovely to see everyone back on here chatting!

Today has taken a slightly strange turn. We have decided to stop ttcing for now until I can find another job, get settled in and we know where we are money wise. Anyway I was tidying up the bathroom this morning and I had 1 old ebay pregnancy test left lying so I thought I might as well POAS as AF is due tomorrow (even though we haven't done much GOFing this month Blush). I got a very faint bfp. The thing is when I looked at my diary it looks like I'm not due on for another week - I haven't really been keeping track with all the stress at work and my last cycle was shorter than usual but I'm almost sure that's right. I picked up a clearblue digital test at lunchtime and got pregnant 3 weeks+ Shock. It would be a crappy time to be pregnant - god knows what I would do about job hunting - but I don't care, we'd work something out. I'm just confused - 2 positive tests seems quite convincing but how can I get a positive so early or am I really due on tomorrow and I've lost count Confused.

SESthebrave · 16/09/2011 20:57

Ooh Rugby - I think a congrats is in order. It would be very unusual to get a false positive, nevermind two. Is it possible that you conceived the previous cycle? If AF was light last month, it could have been one of those infamous implantation bleeds? I may not be great timing but much better to be away from that rotten job when pg than still there. Good luck!

Smithy - thank you so much for de-lurking. Prayers much appreciated :)

Moosy - life does sound very busy for you at the moment! I know I'll get an early scan if I get that far as it's been offered with my last 2 pregnancies.

Star - hope DD settles better tonight.

I had another stressful day at work today. I had to re-enforce the guidelines for requesting time off (standard stuff) with a group of pharmacists and one of them flipped at me and asked if I thought he was a robot and suggested I was a communist!

Fortunately (once DH had got over the initial shock of a BFP - it really did only take once this month Blush ) DH decided to take me and DS to the pub for tea :)

Hello everyone else and thank you again for all the glue being sent this way - much appreciated.

OP posts:
GingerbreadGiraffe · 16/09/2011 21:07

Rugby Congratulations! Another honkless honk!!

It sounds like dates etc are rather confusing but a BFP is a BFP!
I am sure the timing will work out well... it might never feel like right time when you get a new job so I reckon now is as good a time as any!

What did you DP say??

Yay for wagon fertility

Rugbylovingmum · 16/09/2011 21:19

Thanks Ses and Giraffe - I haven't told DP yet. He rushed in from work and straight out to meet some of his mates at a beer festival so no time. Plus I want to give it another week or so to sink in - for some reason I still don't really feel convinced, think I still have it in my head that AF is due next week and it won't feel real until then. Last AF was about 4/5 days earlier than usual and I think it was lighter but I still bled for a few days, I think, hmmm. I've been so worried about work I can't bloomin remember anything else Blush.

Ses - sorry you had a stressful day, the guy who shouted sounds like a real idiot!

Still have my fingers crossed for you giraffe!

Star - I hope our notice period flies by. My manager is already driving me nuts giving me lists and tables of everything I have to do before I leave!

Tink - I hope you get more catalogues and orders back soon.

Hi Moosy, Smithy, anyone I've missed

Kayzr · 17/09/2011 00:20

Wow Rugby!!!!! I know timing isn't great but I've got to say congratulations!!! Grin

Starshinetiger · 17/09/2011 09:05

Oooh Rugby - very exciting, understand not great timing, but sense that you are happy about this?!

Quick etiquette question, please - I need you ladies wisdom! The children are going on a playdate with two children from nursery today - to date they've only done play dates with friends of mine who have children, I don't know this family.. only met them two weeks ago when their son came to DS' party and DS went to his party the next day. Their younger son is same age as DD... Should I take something with me, or just us????

Diege · 17/09/2011 12:02

Many congrats RUGBY, that's briliant news Grin Grin Grin. Have you told dh yet? I think your last af may well have been implantation, although those conception indicators are very inaccurate in terms of the wide range of hcg that are associated with different stages in pregnancy. Unless it's twins of course Wink Grin
STAR, I think on the playdate front that I wouldn't myself take anything, although if you are staying it might be nice to take a cake/nice pack of biscuits. If not, I wouldn't really expect anything from the POV of the host.
Off for a pedicure this afternoon as my feet are appalling Blush.
