Loving your "non-symptom spotting" Grin

No chance my dates are wrong. I just have to hope it was either a faulty test or just too early (even for a FR). I did check back and in April, the first time I tested (and got a BFP) was 13dpo. I'm going to wait for AF and if no sign of her by Sun/Mon, I'll test again then.

Oh and I'm not off today. I'm working an extra day to support a training day for 80 pharmacists - eek!

Diege · 14/09/2011 10:08

Morning! SES, it could indeed be possible that you've tested too early - had the same with dd2 (no positive until 10 days after af due) and I know my dates were 'right'. Fingers crossed for you x
GINGER, it's all sounding very good! How long will you hold out before testing?
KAYZ, hope you're ok? Agree that something planted in the garden would be lovely x
Off to nasty mw this afternoon...I'm sure I'll come out with all sorts of 'problems'!!

Kayzr · 14/09/2011 10:28

Morning,

Ses, I think its too early too. Are your temps still up?

DS1 has his first day of being at school all day today and DS2 is at play school for his first day. He ran in, started painting and was absolutely fine about being left. I'm really happy he's not clingy and didn't want to stay. But a little part of me thinks 'well he could have cried a little bit'. So Sad and Grin today.

So I think I might use the free time to practice making cupcakes for the wedding.

tinkbig · 14/09/2011 12:33

Hi ses agree sounds too early
When I tested with bracken tested too early

Delivvered 70 betteware bks this morn

Kayzr · 14/09/2011 12:42

I've just realised my mistake. I meant I was happy he did want to stay.

They said that he's been really good and got involved with everything. Grin

I feel so proud of him. He's now falling asleep in his lunch but refusing to admit he's tired Hmm

GruffaloSoldier · 14/09/2011 13:54

Hi all,

Sorry have been AWOL again, just absolutely manic here as usual. Ds2 is teething and finally has a tooth poking through. He has also got a cold, and along with his acid reflux it is making him quite miserable and means he is waking a lot in the night. Argh! He is 5 months next week (tues) I can't believe how time has flown.

Ds1 is just a delight at the moment. Which is quite a relief as when DH went back to work after 6 weeks off it was a bit if a shock to the system. Anyway lots of stuff going on but I won't bore you with a mega post but I have been feeling very near breaking point at times and sleep deprivation is not helping!hence I have not had time to post.

Anyway Ses, chart sounds really good. I think it was too early to test yet. I did not test with ds2 until 14dpo and got a strong bfp but didn't bother before. I had no symptoms really, just a bit bloated.

Ginger - sounds exciting. Loving all the 2ww talk!

Katz - sorry about today. Hope you get through ok.

Rugby - sorry about the job, I hope you find something soon. Good that it has made you feel better though. Definitely the right decision.

Tink- well done on the catalogues.

Diege - hope the mw goes ok today!

GruffaloSoldier · 14/09/2011 13:58

Argh *kayz!

GingerbreadGiraffe · 14/09/2011 14:21

Gruff !!!

Great to see you here. sorry things havent been great :(. Glad tooth arrived finally for DS2 though.

Kayz- glad today went ok

Tink- great work on catalogues

Diege- im planning to hold on as long as possible to test. We are away as of next monday but in UK so I can update via phone. I think I will be 14 DPO on Monday. Might do it tuesday..... assuming no AF arrives.

Just picked up some FRs from boots in my lunch hour. I admit to moment of temptation in loos just now but held off!

GingerbreadGiraffe · 14/09/2011 14:22

Sorry Diege- good luck with MW.

keep us posted!

Diege · 14/09/2011 16:06

GING that was very disciplined of you to buy and then not test. Amazing! Grin Make sure you store them somewhere other than the bathroom would be my advice!
RUGBY, meant to say it's great to hear from you, and agree that handing in notice seems the best decision. The fact that you feel so relieved is a positive sign.
GRUFF, good to hear from you too and hope things settle down a little - not fun.
Well, back from mw and all fine, though baby is now transverse which isn't ideal. Still early(ish) days though fingers crossed he'll turn. I remember ds and dd3 all being transverse at 32 wks, so not too concerned, though am booked in with consultant in a fortnight to 'assess' the situation. Think they book a section here if not turned at 36 weeks Hmm. Must stop slouching on sofa at night!
TINKS, good going on the catalogues. How are you finding it?

Kayzr · 14/09/2011 16:29

Diege, get on all fours and stick your bum in the air. That's what I was told about getting them to turn. Grin

Gruff, sorry DS2 isn't well. Hopefully he'll pick up soon.

Diege · 14/09/2011 16:47

Grin I've actually just 'performed' some inversion move from the spinning babies website that has left me feeling out of sorts to put it mildly...A sort of extreme shoulder stand version of the all 4s Hmm...Bum in air sounds way to go (it did turn ds, though he floated above pelvis eternally) - think I can even manage that!

tinkbig · 14/09/2011 18:17

Hi ladies

ginger - very restrained
diege - glad all ok sure baby will turn

GingerbreadGiraffe · 14/09/2011 19:38

I've been laughing about my apparent restraint! I think I am a day behind Ses so I dont think testing yet would be good idea... HAving said that- I can have annoying self control when i want it..... Hmm

Diege- glad MW was ok. Fingers crossed transverse corrects its self.

:)

Kayzr · 14/09/2011 20:44

Ginger, I think you're restrained too. It's the worst thing about ttc I think. I can't help poas too early.

GingerbreadGiraffe · 15/09/2011 07:52

Morning all

Slight spotting here so probably out of the game this month. Guess it could be implantation but looks more like pre AF spotting that always get for 3 or so days before hand....

How is everyone today?

Rugbylovingmum · 15/09/2011 09:43

Morning all,

sorry I haven't been back on, I've been manically searching job sites and updating my CV. I'm still on a high after handing my notice in Grin and have to keep reminding myself that I still have 3 months to work - I'm fairly sure my boss will want me to stay for the full notice period unfortunately but I can't be sure as I haven't seen or spoken to her since I handed over my resignation letter. We have a meeting booked this afternoon so I should find out more then.

Giraffe and Ses - it's not over yet and I'm keeping my fingers tightly crossed for a couple of bfps.

Diege - sorry but I can't stop giggling at the image of you doing extreme pregnant gymnastics to encourage the baby to turn Grin. In saying that the old 'scrubbing the floors' solution never appealed to me much either. I hope he turns soon.

Kayz - how are you feeling today? Bless DS2 skipping happily off to nursery - DD was the same and I felt the same as you, really pleased but just a tiny bit put out she didn't miss me. Now she quite often doesn't want to come home when I pick her up .

Gruff - it's lovely to hear from you but sorry that you are having a tough time. Go ahead with the mega post if you feel the need to offload and get it out of your system at any time. I hope that DS2 (and you!) manage to get a bit more sleep once that tooth is through, the sleep deprivation makes everything so much harder to deal with. I remember DD having a long period of waking several times a night and not settling and I really didn't think I was going to cope. Glad DS1 is being great at the moment though Smile.

Tink - good going on the deliveries, that sounds like a LOT of catalogues. Hope you get lots of orders!

tinkbig · 15/09/2011 10:49

hi ginger

it could be implantation which i had with bracken

hi rugby i hope i gets lots to picking them up tomorrow

quiet day here today

GingerbreadGiraffe · 15/09/2011 12:32

Hi Rugby
Glad you are relieved :)

Tink- how much bleeding did you get with Bracken? curious really

tinkbig · 15/09/2011 16:07

a tiny amount of brown

GingerbreadGiraffe · 15/09/2011 19:25

thanks tink.

Has stopped now... so will obsessively knicker check monitor it over the next couple of days.

Ses- how are things?

tinkbig · 15/09/2011 20:33

;p

Kayzr · 15/09/2011 20:57

Rugby, I'm ok thanks. We decided to get a house plant when DP gets home. I am slightly worried though as I never ever remember to water plants at all.

My cycle has completely confused me now. On CD12 fertility friend decided I had ovulated on CD9, which I thought was strange. Then after having EWCM and a peak reading on CD15 it changed it to CD15. Now I have some spotting on the day FF said AF would come when it said I OV'd on CD9.

I am completely confused now. I'm on CD 23 now.

Any ideas?

SESthebrave · 15/09/2011 21:24

Hello all!

Kayz - that does sound confusing! Can you link your chart?

Rugby - sounds like you've been going through a nightmare with work but how fantastic that your DP is so supportive and you can make the break. Hope your meeting went as well as it could.

Diege - get your bum in the air! Have you got a gym ball to bounce on?

Gruff - hope things improve for you soon and that the sleeping gets better now that tooth is through!

Giraffe - I really hope it's not pre-AF spotting for you!

As for me, my latest chart is here Bit confusing as I've been waking early and not sure when to take my temps. However this morning I managed to persaude myself to keep my eyes closed and doze until about 10 to 6. Still got mildly sore boobs and low down cramping pains. Who knows?!! Hopefully I will - at least by Monday, as that's when I've got my gynae appointment to follow up mc tests.

Work was rubbish today. I generally enjoy my job but today was the worst day in at least a year and I got really wound up and emotional about something that I should have just dealt with professionally. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!
