Tink- the pizza fingers did go down a treat with all of us if i'm honest... just felt guilty giving then such a 'snack' type tea when i'd planned a lovely tea. And we're at a 4th bday party today so party food for tea...

DH is off today, i've sent him to the post office with a couple of parcels. Then he's off to grab a couple of bits for lunch.

Got a hectic hour when they finish school though, they finish at 3.15, about 3.30 by time we're home, then i need to get them dressed, in the car and to a party for 4pm... takes about 10-15mins to get to party venue too!! But hopefully once we get there they will all play and me and DH can sit in peace for a bit!! haha!!

festivehellokitty · 05/12/2011 17:37

hi cant Grin

hope u got to party ok!! does sound hectic after school
glad u all enjoyed pizza fingers
r tea is usually chicken fingers and pasta all dd1 will eat
dd2 will eat different things though

having a good day here
mum over
have to deliver betteware orders soon
bought dd2s bag for nursery so cute Grin
cant believe she starts jan 3rd

LebkuchenStars · 05/12/2011 19:25

Bumps - seen on fb that DD2 is poorly - how awful for you Sad. Hope you get a cuddle very soon. Thinking of you.

Can't - glad you had a good time at food show and DC enjoyed it. Easy tea is a winner all round for the odd occasion - kids think they are getting a treat and you do too Grin

Just a quick post while I stroke DD to sleep. She's really poorly with a suspected respiratory infection. GP not sure if a uti, but don't think it's her usual symptoms. Probably have to postpone check-up in London tomorrow, if she's still the same, which is a bummer. Honestly - I don't know how I ever fitted in work Wink

Rugbylovingmum · 05/12/2011 23:32

Hi all,

just popping on very quickly to let you know that I had my 16 week appt today - everything was fine. I had DD with me and she was a bit nervous so she finished up sitting on my legs on the bed so I could chat to her while they listened to the hb. She didn't like the doppler thingy so I told her it was listening to mummy's tummy and we made up silly things my belly was saying - DD decided it was "I want strawberries" so we'll see if DC2 is a strawberry fiend wink. It was very sweet but afterwards I realised I hadn't really heard the hb although I know she said it was fine. It's a shame as it was lovely hearing DDs hb for the first time but it's good to know beanie is well. Next appt is my 20 week scan on 3rd January - only 4 weeks to wait, hurray Grin.

Back in the morning to catch up with everyone.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 06/12/2011 09:28

Morning.

Rugby- So cute of DD to say that :) And i understand you about not hearing HB but as you say at least all is well, and at least DD felt very involved too :)

Chilly morning here, so chilly the house feels cold all of a sudden, heating has been on low constantly for about 6wks now... and has felt lovely and toasty, but today and yesterday evening there's a bit of a chill in the air, think I need to turn the heating up!!

DC's are at football club after school today so I have a long day with DD2 which is always nice :)

Kids slept through until about 7.15 this morning, they only woke when I went to the toilet!! That's the first time they've slept in in well over 18m!! Was such a shock to the system being woken by my alarm rather than being awake waiting for my alarm!! I thought my phone was playing up and my alarm was going off in the middle of the night :) DH laughed as I turned my alarm off, cursed at my phone, then saw it was the right time... I then went to see if the kids were still asleep or if I'd slept through them going downstairs!! The party was a massive blessing!! haha!!

Rugbylovingmum · 06/12/2011 11:25

Cant - lol at you cursing your alarm Grin. I do that too if DD has a rare lie in. Enjoy your nice long day with DD2 - what do you have planned?

It was a shame not to hear the hb but no big deal, it just got me thinking that it's no wonder DC2 are usually louder Grin. Poor baby isn't even here yet and already having to compete with DD to get any attention. I sometimes feel a bit guilty that when I think about DC2 arriving I am more concerned about the effect on DD and hoping that she is happy than really looking forward to having DC2. I guess that's just the way it is with a second pregnancy and I'm sure once DC2 is here I will love them and feel just as protective as I do with DD1, it's just a bit odd at the moment. Does that sound a bit crazy/stupid/wierd???

festivehellokitty · 06/12/2011 21:04

All went very well. Baby is an extremely wriggly and uncooperative little thing. Wouldn't stay still at all. My dates haven't changed.

Rugbylovingmum · 07/12/2011 12:25

Congratulations Kayz GrinGrinGrin.

That's the exact opposite of my scan - the bean was curled up and didn't want to move at all.

festivehellokitty · 07/12/2011 13:58

GingerbreadLatte · 07/12/2011 14:54

Congratulations Kay.
Did you get pics :)

AwayinaKayzr · 07/12/2011 14:59

Yeah we got a pic. I've put it on FB and on my profile.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 07/12/2011 16:55

Kayz- glad to hear all is well :)

Rugby- didn't do too much yesterday afternoon, just cuddled up on the couch together, watched some daytime trash, DD fell asleep and thats about it...

We had the DC's nativity this morning :) DS was the Narrator (and a very good one at that) and DD1 was the lead star... her skirt fell off halfway through her dance, but ever the professional she just carried on in her tights!! Grin Haha!!

Just got them home from Multi-skills club, got tea in the oven and they are getting themselves all ready for bed so they can cuddle under a blanket and watch simpsons after tea. :)

Rugbylovingmum · 08/12/2011 16:22

Wow - it's very quiet on here. Is everyone off christmas shopping?

Cant - I'm glad the nativity was good. It sounds as though DS and DD did very well bless them.

Only two days left at work after today - tomorrow and Tuesday. They are guaranteed to be awful days with my boss being a complete PIA but I am almost shaking with excitement at the thought of being finished and out of this place GrinGrinGrin.

festivehellokitty · 08/12/2011 19:21

quiet day today

cantmummyhaveabreak · 09/12/2011 17:21

evening. Busy day doing not a lot here today...

DH has been off, went to the shops today to get some bits... I've decided to make some Lemon Cheese and make up some sweet hampers with biscuits and sweet treats too for Xmas Pressies. :)

Then we came home and me and DH ended up playing on the PS3 together- playing one of his games- i kept winding him up saying he was rubbish and i could play better, so i tried, but he kept having to save me!! haha!! Was quite fun actually :)

DD1 is at a birthday party atm, DH is entertaining the other 2 and i'm 'sorting tea' so i've chucked it in the oven and need to go and get it out in half an hour!! haha!!

festivehellokitty · 09/12/2011 17:40
