KAYZ, sickness is probably ms related. I felt very sick morning of my scan - bleeding had increased too to clots etc, but looking back the sonographer said sickness was such a good sign and that it can disappear completely once a miscarriage starts (ie, as opposed to tapering off) xx

Kayzr · 12/11/2011 13:53

The scan was fine!! Everything was ok and I've had the edd put back a few days.

warmandcosyhellokitty · 12/11/2011 14:00

kay - great news [grins]

warmandcosyhellokitty · 12/11/2011 14:04

SESthebrave · 12/11/2011 14:09

Kayz - you must be so relieved, that's great news :)
What is your new EDD?

tink - hello! Hope you're having a good weekend

Ginger - I've got everything crossed for you!

Bumps - thinking of you and can't imagine your frustration levels. Hope you won't be waiting too much longer.

Hello Diege, Star, Smithy, Rugby, Moosy and anyone else lurking!

DS is definitely not 100% but nowhere near as bad as he was last night. He's having a nap now but we'll be off to Bob the Builder later!

Diege · 12/11/2011 14:36

Brilliant news KAYZ! Smile. Hope you can relax now and have a very uneventful pregnancy!
SES, enjoy Bob the Builder!

Rugbylovingmum · 12/11/2011 15:57

Kayz - that's brilliant Grin, what is your new EDD?

Ses - glad DS is feeling better, enjoy Bob the Builder.

Hi Diege, Tink

Kayzr · 12/11/2011 17:04

New EDD is the 25th June. So I'm only 7w5d instead of 8w3d but he did say that it could change again by my 12 week scan as the baby will be bigger and easier to measure.

I am so relieved. Smile

smithylovesme · 12/11/2011 19:33

Great news Kayz :) Have you been able to keep DP updated?

SES- glad DS didn't have to stay in Hospital and wasn't serious hope you both enjoyed Bob the builder :o my DS is obsessed with Bob the builder at the moment, first thing he says when he wakes up, and if we see any workmen building houses they are obviously working with Bob :) But when i ask him what he wants for Christmas he either says crackers or a narna (banana)!

Ginger- fingers crossed but all sounding good hoping you do don't cave and test before next weekend :o

Diege- your HV sounds as bonkers as my midwife :o

Bumps- hoping they have found you a bed and you are comfortable.

tink- i keep seeing the squinkies but have no idea what they are. New crazy here is zoobles.

Hi everyone else, sorry if i have missed anything.

Having real problems with DD1, her behaviour is terrible, continous arguments with her really getting me and DH down. We don't no what to try next. She seems to be so hot headed, even the simplest thing turns into any argument, eg. can you please get dressed, completely ignores us and either starts humming etc pretending she can't hear you. Wants to constantly be centre of attenton all the time :(
DS has stopped sleeping in his bed and i feel too sick to fight with him so getting crap sleep. MS and bloated with trapped wind but apart from that everything is Rosie Hmm

SESthebrave · 12/11/2011 19:54

Oh Smithy I'm sorry to hear you're having a tough time. How old is DD1?
I wish I could wave a magic wand to make it all better but hopefully the MS will pass soon and that will help.

Bob the Builder was good but I am in 2 minds as to whether we should have gone. On balance, O did enjoy it but his temperature was back up and he was refusing Calpol. It was a good show though - lots of fun and he did enjoy himself in a very subdued way.

The only way we've been able to get any Calpol and ABs in him this evening is for DH to pin him down on the floor by crouching over the top of him and me to syringe the meds in. I hate to see him ill and just hope he sleeps better tonight (and so do we!) Tomorrow DH is off to an exhibition in London to do with work and we were going to go too and have a look round some sights but I think we'll stay nearer home.

smithylovesme · 12/11/2011 20:08

Thanks Ses, i know the MS will be over soon and i am having some good days, so not all bad, suppose to be doing a thanksgiving dinner for DH in a week and a half, hoping to feel better by then.
DD1 is 7 going on 17.

Glad you both enjoyed Bob, why are toddler so difficult to get medicine down? We always have to hold DS down too, whereas the girls now would drink it willingly a bit too willingly!

warmandcosyhellokitty · 13/11/2011 10:20

hi ladies

ses - glad ds on the mend glad he enjoyed bob the builder Grin

smithy - my dd1 has developmental dyspraxia and her behaviour sounds similair to yours

she is 6 years old

very argumentative and headstrong
can get very upset and cross about things
she talks very loudly and shouts all the time
wants constant attention
hates getting dressed as she struggles with fastenings
has messy writing

we find her very stressful especially at weekends as she is mean to dd2!!
shouts at her and hits etc

know exactly what you mean

this week has been stressful with Betteware boss comes Mondays to collect my orders etc. didn't turn up Monday just gone she is scatty! so didn't think much of it at the time. anyway as it got later in the week to Friday she still hadn't turned up by this stage i was worried that something had happened i.e an accident.
i had been emailing her all week with no response and trying to phone kept saying number not recognised!!
phoned up Betterware a couple of times with no joy
finally received an email from her yesterday saying " sorry that you have not been informed but i have left " !!
really glad i have heard from her but grrrrrrrr that noone has told me!!
have lots of orders still waiting to be ordered , no books etc
so ringing headoffice tomorrow will hopefully find out if i have a new boss

GingerbreadLatte · 13/11/2011 12:03

Hi all

Kayz- sorry for stresses but hooray for it working out ok.. :)

Smithy sorry you are feeling rubbish still. Hope it improves soon.. Re your DD I don't have any experience but I did once hear that the 6/7 age group is point in de development for the things you describe. Bit like terrible twos but for 6/7s. I can't recall basis but it was very interesting. Maybe someone who knows about child psych knows better?

Ses - hope DS has got better and is taking his meds better today.

Pretty sure it's all over for me this month. Pre AF spotting is present, right on on time. I know it could be implantation but it's the same pattern as previous months so unlikely. I know it's only 3rd cycle but I'm still more disappointed than I should be. So much for being relaxed.... :(

SESthebrave · 13/11/2011 12:14

Oh Ginger I'm sorry to hear that :(
I know it would be easy for me to say it's not all over yet (and it isn't!) but you know the signs I guess. It is so hard to ttc whilst trying to relax about it so don't be hard on yourself for any disappointments along the way.

DS is a bit better again today and at least slept through last night which was a relief! Having a quiet day at home whilst DH has headed off to London to an EXPO about engineering jobs in Australia Hmm

Hello tink and Smithy and anyone else lurking!

OP posts:
GingerbreadLatte · 13/11/2011 12:21

Thanks Ses. Glad DS is better and you got full nights sleep.

Australia!? :)

SESthebrave · 13/11/2011 12:26

I know.... DH is desperately unhappy and stressed at work and looking at various options which include Australia and Dubai! I'm such a home girl, I really wouldn't want to move 10 miles from home, never mind Australia! He knows that and reckons he could persaude me if the right job came up. I'm not worrying until we get to that point but I do hope he finds another job soon as it's not doing his blood pressure any good at the moment.

OP posts:
Moosy · 13/11/2011 16:47

Baby Bumps born yesterday afternoon :o
I'll leave the details to Bumps but it sounds like it wasn't easy, hopefully she'll be on soon with all the news :)

warmandcosyhellokitty · 13/11/2011 16:59

moosy - thanks Grin

bumps Grin congrats take care hope to hear from you soon xx

warmandcosyhellokitty · 13/11/2011 17:00

ses - sorry dh not happy with work
i wouldnt want to live abroad either!!
sounds tough situation!!

LebkuchenStars · 13/11/2011 20:32

Congratulations Bumps!!!
Thanks Moosy for sharing the news and letting us know she had arrived.
Smithy - sorry for DD1 being tough work at the moment. Does sound remarkably like my DD who's going through terrible twos Hmm - didn't realise how easy we had it with DS until DD (but she is also gorgeous and priceless as well, just amazingly different to DS) Grin
Ses - hope DS is doing better today - not a good start to the weekend for you. Is it your scan tomorrow? Thinking of you and sending positive vibes.
Kayz - glad scan all turned out well. Don't blame you for booking private scan though - my colleague told me how she nearly got one and didn't realise until nearly her normal scan date how reasonable they are these days. Glad your Mum could go with you too - must have been nice for her.
Ginger - sorry it looks like you are out this month - you know your body best. It is tough and don't think there is anything helpful I can say Sad
Tink - thanks for shopping tip - went to Argos and at the last minute was distracted by a Hello Kitty doll with 2 x outfits and dressing room - hope it has hit the mark - 6yo seems such a tough age to buy for - probably just 'cos mine haven't reached that age yet.
Thanks all for the input on buggies. We already have McLaren Techno XT, but were wondering if a more lightweight one would be better and sell this one on. Seems from all your advice that we're just best sticking with this. Staff in Mcare also said to stick with it, since it would last longer than a cheaper more lightweight one.
Right - last Sunday night of doing work - yay!! Best get it over and done with Grin

SESthebrave · 13/11/2011 20:49

Congratulations to Bumps :)
Hope you and your new bundle are recovering well and looking forward to hearing from you and some piccies when you get chance.

Star - yes scan is tomorrow at 2pm, eek!

Ses I hope your scan goes well today Smile

Rugbylovingmum · 14/11/2011 08:50

Congratulations Bump! I hope you are both well.

Ses - good luck, hope you get some nice pics of the bean today Smile.
