Morning!
Kayz - fingers crossed for you for today. The fact that you've had no cramps and that the bleeding stopped is a good sign but I know you won't feel better until a reassuring scan. Let us know how you get on x
As some of you have seen from FB, we had our own dramas last night. O had had a temperature at nursery since 2.30pm. A dose of Calpol at 3pm and another at 5pm, didn't bring it down at all and as I drove him home, his breathing got very rapid & shallow so I decided to see if our GP would see him. She was v good and hung on at the end of surgery but was concerned by his breathing and referred us to the hospital to rule out pneumonia! She even offered to call an ambulance to get us there but I said it would be just as quick for me to drive.
We were at the hospital until nearly 10pm but they were v good. The main issue was trying to get his temperature down and the fact that his tonsils were huge. Eventually we came home with antibiotics and a salbutamol inhaler for a slight wheeze on his chest.
He didn't settle well last night so the 3 of us had a disturbed night in bed together. At 5am though he woke up and decided he wanted to go downstairs and play! There was no persuading him otherwise so he's been up playing since then. He's had a drink and a snack and seems ok with no temperature!
Now I don't think he'll be going to rugbytots this morning, but this afternoon we've got tickets to see Bob the Builder at the local theatre. Would you take him if he seems ok and no temperature? Or if you were another parent there would you far rather he wasn't there in case of spreading any bugs? He has been looking forward to it and would seem a shame not to go but I don't want to be unfair to others in the audience.
What would you do?
