Thanks! I am feeling more reassured thanks but as ever, will feel better with each day/week that passes. It's definitely good to see a hb at this stage (amazing isn't it when the baby is only 5mm in total!) next few weeks will be crucial as it's normally been between 6 & 8 weeks that there's been problems before.

Oh and yes, DS is a May baby too - he's 9th May.

Brilliant news SES . That's so great that a hb was seen so early on, plus the dating seems pretty spot on in light of your dates. Oh and 27th May is a great day to be born .

Next dilemma is what to tell the NCT girls as we've got a girls night out planned for Saturday. How to explain no wine and no Bacardi?! I think I'll go for the "I'm still on a health drive" and see if they buy it!

Ses, hooray for a good scan :o isn't there some statistic that says that once you've seen the hb you've got a 90something% chance of continuing on a full pregnancy? Must be so nice to have the reassurance that all's ok :)

Ses I am so so pleased for you that is the best news ever..... Thanks for the advice, GP was also very reasuring yesterday. He was put back on ranitidine a few months back as he was getting really bad acid reflux again. He couldn't play or run around or even laugh a lot without getting acid hicups and being sick in his mouth. He was only bringing up bile but was then in pain for ages after (with heart burn etc.) The ranitidine is working on that but we noticed recently that his hair is falling out and that his gums are bleeding. GP has looked at gums and they look fine but he has really bad dermatitus on his scalp which is why his hair is falling out. We now have a special oil to rub in twice a day and he has to use cradle cap shampoo as well. His diet is poor at the moment as he is refusing to eat any veg at all so going to get him some multi vits today as well to make sure he is getting enough of the good stuff....

Still really hot here today but very overcast so think the nice weather will soon be gone...

I've just ordered the bridesmaid dresses!! Also the boys little waistcoats and the bridesmaids and my flowers. Plus loads of little bits. I feel so excited

SES- great that they have given you a another scan so soon aswell for extra reassurance :) I woutld probably tell the NCT girls for RL support, or if your not wanting to share news yet try the health kick line but they might be and guess anyway.

Bump- it really sounds like your DS has had a rough time of it lately hopefully he'll be on the mend soon. Weather here today has got a lot cooler, and i sadly think we will have no more warm weather for a while :(

Hello everyone else, Moosy, Star, Ginger, Can't and any others my brain can't remember.

I have the most tense neck and shoulders can't turn my head properly and in a lot of pain :( Just been to my first ever school PTA meeting thinking i should become more involved in school life :) Was interesting, just couldn't sit still with backache, neck ache, cramps! Old woman alert even though was probably the youngest there. :o :o :o

Smithy he's been quite involved actually. There've been a few times he's just said 'oh I dont mind' and it's annoying.

No real symptoms unless waking at 3am is one. My temps are high and staying high so fingers crossed.

Some bloody bug has bitten me twice on the sole of my foot. It's really really painful. I haven't been able to sleep properly because it hurts so much.

So I'm exhausted DP has been sent to the chemist to buy the most powerful cream they have.

I dont know Tink, we regularly(sp) give the dog flea stuff and check him and we haven't seen any yet. But it could be.

Not many symptoms here, boobs still ache and my temp dropped today so got to wait until tomorrow to see it goes back up or if it stays down.

Hello everyone else!

All fine here. I have a couple of days off work and getting my hair done this morning. Not had anything done to it since April so it needs a bit if work!

Felt awful on Tuesday afternoon - so tired my whole body ached. I think it was just because I'd not slept well the night before. Feel ok now.

Ses, I'm 7dpo today. So I'm really hoping it's implantation. Plus I woke early so had to do temp early.

Kayz- hoping its an implantation dip for you. When are you planning on testing?

Ses- enjoy being pampered (kind of) i love going to hairdressers for me time :) Have you made a decision on what to tell the NCT girls?

Tink- shopping sounds good, are you feeling better?

Ginger- hows your symptom spotting going?

Still in shock, did another test this morning :) still positive line getting darker.
Thinking about phoning docs next week for appointment and trying to get an early scan as really stressed about it. Think last time it was actually a blighted ovum (sack that keeps growing but never a baby in it) So was still having symptoms and hormone level increasing!
Been swimming with DS this morning he is getting much better by the week.
