Morning! Could well be implantation dip KAYZ, fingers crossed for you!
SES, enjoy your pampering. Have also had hair done this morning here, so we can swish our way around the wagon togthers Grin Agree I must stop doing work - big report done yesterday but 2 little ones left...I can't rest properly knowing they need to be done. Why can't I be such a work swot when I am actually in work?? Confused
SMITHY, I think you will have no problems getting an early scan with your history.Nervewracking, but such a great feeling when you get the assurance that all is well. Been there myself twice so know what a stressy time it is x
Good shopping TINKS! I think your girls must be all shoe-ed out now Wink. Also had a few parcels delivered myself today - new PJs for dds, a pair of boots for myself, a bright, padded gilet for ds, and a xmas outfit for new baby (Next). Also a Boden pinafore dress for dd3 and top for ds.
Still having 'names' issues with dh - he just won't take it seriously and says we should wait and see...I mean, wait and see what???? It;s not like we have a short-list. My choice is Dylan (though then we have the whole Welsh or English pronounciation thing) which looks like being in with a chance as dh won't even offer an alternative (other than...Reginald!!!! - the shame, as if I would even consider that...).
Anyway, sorry for the rant! Need some choc then off to get ds from nursery.

Kayzr · 06/10/2011 11:56

Next Tuesday Smithy. Have you had any symptoms yet? Hope you get your early scan.

Ses, I'm at the hairdressers too. Got to start thinking about wedding hair. Smile

Kayzr · 06/10/2011 11:58

Diege, Dylan is a fabulous name!!!!! He is English pronunciation but when we went to Wales everyone said it differently.

It must be wagon hairdressing day! Grin

Diege · 06/10/2011 12:58

I thought you would approve KAYZ Grin. I do actually prefer the English way of saying it, but being welsh, welsh-speaking, and also working in Wales I will perhaps have to revert to the Welsh way when over there! I would be hard saying it the English way when speaking Welsh, if that makes sense. I do draw the line at the USA spelling though (Dillon).
Yes, def wagon hair day, lol!

Moosy · 06/10/2011 13:00

What's the Welsh pronunciation?

Diege, your parcel was posted yesterday :)

Diege · 06/10/2011 13:14

Ooh thanks MOOSY, that's so kind of you. Pain has been better the fast few days but I have started to feel it again this morning. Re: Welsh pronounication, it's sounds like 'Dull-un' (as opposed to eng. 'Dillun').

Rugbylovingmum · 06/10/2011 13:34

Hi all,

Diege - I like the name Dylan (however you pronounce it) but did DH really suggest Reginald Hmm. Your parcels sound good. I really need to get started on DDs winter wardrobe. I've been struggling to get trousers to fit (she is quite long in the torso and short in the leg so her trousers are usually too long and sit very low on her waist so she ends up with a gap between her trousers and top) so I think I might look for some nice warm dresses and tights.

Smithy - glad your news is sinking in - hope you get your early scan so you can relax and enjoy it.

Kayz - I am totally clueless about temping so I don't know whether a dip is good or bad but I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a honk this month.

Moosy - how are you?

Ses - what have you decided to do about NCT girls? Glad you are feeling a bit better. Enjoy your days off.

I'm feeling rough again today - quite nauseous, and a 'heavy' feeling in my stomach. I can't really describe it but I also had a few 'twinges', not quite cramps but little pains low down near my c-section scar. I was a bit worried this morning thinking it felt a bit pre-AF but this afternoon I've decided that it's probably just that bloated/sicky feeling I had last time around 7-10 weeks and things starting to stretch a bit. I'll be glad when I get to the 12 week scan. This first bit really drags!

tinkbig · 06/10/2011 14:31

hi chatty ladies Grin

diege - yah for parcels Grin

i get nervous ordering girls shoes online dont trust myself to see if they fit
got them measured in clarks first
dont trust myself to check toes etc

kay - sounds good

hi rugby and to other ladies

wow lots of hair being done

feeling better now
dh has it now

SESthebrave · 06/10/2011 15:21

Hello again!

Definitely wagon hair-do day!

Diege - I never knew about the Welsh pronunciation of Dylan! As for Reginald Hmm

Rugby - these first 12 weeks go very slowly don't they? The sickness is a good sign though but hope it becomes more manageable for you.

Smithy - I'd definitely phone for an appointment and see about an early scan. Any mc history makes the early weeks so much more stressful and anything to put your mind at rest can only help.

Hello tink, Moosy, Kayz and anyone else lurking!

I met up with one of my NCT friends yesterday - the one I see most often and the only one who knows about the last mc. I had plenty of opportunity to tell her I was pg but didn't. She may have guessed but didn't say anything. Unless any of them really push me, I think I'll keep it to myself. I just couldn't bear to become "the one" with the mc problem.
I am reassured by this week's scan but can't forget that the first scan last pregnancy did have a flicker of a hb and then I MCed. Admittedly, it wasn't a strong hb and I had started bleeding by then but I can't completely accept all is well yet.
The only people that know at the moment are you guys, DH and my 2 best friends!

I've just got home and I've got 2 parcels next door took in and 2 I need to collect. I like this shopping Grin one was table decorations and the other was the button holes. I know one parcel I need to get is my new boots.

I was naughty earlier and worked out when my 12 week scan would be and it's the middle of december. I don't know if I want to go for an early scan cos I know DP won't be here.

GingerbreadLatte · 06/10/2011 16:24

Hi everyone. So much chat Grin

Not going to be a long post. Have been in bed with some gastric infection (no idea if that's any diff to a normal bug?) lots of painful cramps and other unpleasant symptoms. Not got much energy to type!

Am on 2ww, not very hopeful as we only had 1 'stab' at it this month. No pun intended there!
Hi everyone, I am lurking and enjoying the chat :)

SESthebrave · 06/10/2011 18:40

Ginger - Sorry to hear you've been so unwell :( Sounds very unpleasant and draining. Hope you're soon on the mend.

I've just got back from picking DS up from nursery. He normally has one day a week out of his 4 there when they tell me he's been "a pickle" and not listened to waht they've wanted him to do. He can be very similar at home. This week it's been every day so far though Hmm His key worker is very good about it and obviously has a bit of a soft spot for him but it's just simple requests that he'll decide not to listen to. One of the other girls was asking him to do something today and he was blatantly ignoring her, looking everywhere except at her. One of the other boys also accidentally rode a bike into his keyworker today and, having watched what happened, DS decided to copy and do exactly the same thing on purpose a few minutes later. It's like he does it for the attention but he does get plenty of that at home and nursery. It seems the best way to deal with it is to ignore the bad behaviour and praise the good but that gets a bit difficult when it's riding a bike into someone on purpose! Anyway, his keyworker has offered to make him a couple of sticker reward charts for home and nursery over the weekend so we'll see if that helps. Has anyone else managed to conquer this phase?!

Diege · 06/10/2011 19:18

Hi GING! Sorry to hear you're feeling so awful Sad. Big plate of steaming wagon brownies and a cup of hot choc for when you're feeling up to it x
SES, this sounds just like ds, esp the copying bad behaviour/showing off. It may well be down to seeking attention, but I think at this stage they'd do it even if they had 24/7 one-to-one attention. I read somewhere it's about establishing their identities/pushing boundaries (so not really about lack of attention), and until they can understand why the behaviour's wrong, you should just ignore and praise the good. After that stage, when they grasp the problem, the naughty step etc can be brought in. So, in brief, I'd say it's totally normal and that you seem to have a great keyworker too!

Kayzr · 06/10/2011 19:25

Ses, DS2 has his moments like that too. Especially at home. We just ignore him when he's being silly. He occasionally will go on the naughty step when he's done something that hurts. At playschool they do the same with the ignoring when they are naughty. I've been told that ignoring them is better than telling them off as they aren't getting the attention they want.

I am exhausted Sad DP has been driving on the railway today so need to wait for him to get home with his Chinese.

Kayzr · 06/10/2011 19:26

Ooops meant to say get well soon Ginger.

SESthebrave · 06/10/2011 19:35

Thanks Diege and Kayz - helps to know it's not just him being a naughty child! In some ways I think he's quite intelligent for havign these thought processes but will try and keep focussing on the good!

Oh, and we are lucky with a great nursery and a great keyworker! She is a little bit forward and loud but has the best of intentions and has taken a shine to O right from the beginning before he was her responsibility when he was in the baby room.

DH just got home as I was putting O to bed and came in with his iPad catching up on FB. He looked up at me and said "Oh yes, you've had your hair done - it looks nice. I just noticed your post on FB". So it took FB to make him realise! Grin

I'm off to the cinema this evening :) I used to love going to the cinema and would go 2 or 3 times a month but it's more like 2 or 3 times a year now! Going to see The Debt with Helen Mirren. Will try not to fall asleep!

Kayzr · 07/10/2011 08:17

Morning, my temp has gone back up today so maybe it was an implantation dip, but I am thinking it might have more to do with waking at half 5 and knowing I wouldn't get back to sleep having to do my temp.

Gosh what a ramble.

Hope you are all well today. Ginger hope you are feeling much better.

GingerbreadLatte · 07/10/2011 08:28

Morning all

Thanks Kayz, feeling bit better after a full nights sleep. Phew. Might try and eat something in a bit.

How many dpo are you now? Does the dip and rise fit the pattern :)

Back in a bit. Off for a bath.

Diege · 07/10/2011 08:29

KAYZ, do you mean you took the temo that dipped early? From what I recall from the Toni Weshler book, early taking of temp may make it rise as opposed to dip. In other words, I'd say the signs do indeed point to implantation, so fingers crossed!
Shattered today as woke at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep. Baby had very strong hiccups and then started wriggling (hopefully into a better position!) so couldn't drop off if I wanted to. 36 weeks today!

Diege · 07/10/2011 08:30

Cross-posts GING! Glad to hear you're feeling a bit better - take it easy though x

SESthebrave · 07/10/2011 09:13

OMG - it's official! I must be pg! I was sitting in Starbucks, reading a silly chick-lit book and it was making me well up with tears! A book! In public! Don't think I've ever done that before. Admittedly it was a sad bit but I suddenly had the urge to sob my heart out Blush

Ginger - glad you're feeling a bit better.

Kayz - temp going back up can only be a good thing :)

Diege - 36wks!!! Let's hope all that wriggling he did last night got him in a better position!

Right I'm off home to face the ironing pile...

kay - yah to parcels Grin
good luck with temps

ses - Grin

diege - not long

Kayzr · 07/10/2011 11:02

Yeah Diege. It was about half 5 instead of half 6. My temps always dip if I have to take them early.

Diege · 08/10/2011 10:15

MOOSY, thank you so much for the belt, arrived today Smile. After an initial panic as to how to get it on Grin I figured it out and is does seem to help. Will def be worth putting on for school run etc when I am doing a lot of walking Smile
KAYZ, how were the temps this morning?
Very wet and cold here today - time for the heating in I think. Can hardly believe we were slathering on suncream just a week ago!

Kayzr · 08/10/2011 10:18

Temps are still high. Fertility friend said that 15% of women get a bfp at 9dpo but I resisted the urge to poas
