Anybody else out there?????
Very surprised, had only SWI once and I thought we had missed the window of opportunity. It seems not, BFP yesterday, royal wedding treat. EDD about 2nd Jan I think.

#2 for me, keeping fingers tightly crossed as had a bumpy ride before conceiving DS. Very excited and slightly terrified. :)

good move SES.
had to happen sooner or later!

hotcrossSES · 03/05/2011 22:58

Thanks!

Right,, off to bed for me now! This is the latest I've been up for about a week and hope I don't suffer for it tomorrow!

BonzaBlue · 03/05/2011 23:02

Well done SES !

Off on the school run in a moment. No real signs or symproms - but am only 5 weeks today so no worries yet.

My details are fine - but dates may change as I will be having a C/S - have had 2 previously. Bit nervous really as already have a ds with a bday in Jan and it is hard work to think of two sets of presents so close together ! But I am soooo happy that is the least of my worries!

Best go and get ready - have a good evening / day everyone!

fifitrixabelle78 · 03/05/2011 23:04

Nice work! Fingers (and everything else) crossed for lots of sticky little beans.

off to bed too. Night.

Spagbolagain · 03/05/2011 23:15

Ooh well done SES. I was sort of hoping somebody would tackle it......:o thanks
My DS is 18mo btw
Night all (morning to those down under)

Thanks hotcross, it's lovely to be on a list with you all.

Off to work now.

Exhausted already.

GiraffeAHolic · 04/05/2011 08:32

Morning all.

HotcrosSES - I have a 3 year old Dd so this will be dc2 (sorry to mess your spreadsheet up!)

I think I might be starting to believe it, I fell asleep at 9 last night :) and my boobs hurt if I breathe too hard! Oh and dh asked if I would like a camp set up in the bathroom as I seemed to be in and out all evening.

Have midwife appt tomorrow morning Grin just need to find child care as don't really want Dd getting wind of it yet.

Have a good day everyone :)

hotcrossSES · 04/05/2011 08:53

Browncoats · 04/05/2011 09:01

Morning all! Thanks for the list hotcrossSES!

I'm glad it's not just me that does extra tests even though I've got all the symptoms! Grin

Right, I'm off to toddler group with DS, hope you all have a great day with loads of energy

GiraffeAHolic · 04/05/2011 09:33

Woohoo my lovely aunty is taking Dd for the morning so no awkward questions :)

When are you all planning on making the announcement to friends and family? We haven't told anyone at all yet, but in the next six weeks I've got a caterers meeting with wine tasting, a hen night and a wedding so not sure how long it will stay a secret Hmm

TandB · 04/05/2011 09:33

I am also DC2!

TandB · 04/05/2011 09:34

I am also DC2! DS1 is 21 months.

TandB · 04/05/2011 09:35

Oops. Double post.

d0gFace · 04/05/2011 10:20

Morning :)

Cheers for the list Ses, lots of people sharing the same date.

Not sure when to tell the parents/inlaws, last time we jumped the gun at just before 5 weeks and had to untell them 3 days later. :( Trying to drag it out till week 6 this time, starting to feel like I should say something(Im terrible at keeping stuff to myself).Confused

magaddict · 04/05/2011 11:43

Hi
Too scared to join you officially as not even brave enough to test yet - I think (think!) I am...but had mc a year ago and now I am so scared/excited etc I don't know what to do with myself. Anyway, just wanted to say 'congrats' to you all, and hope I will be back!

shonnomanom · 04/05/2011 13:48

Hello Hello

Great list SES, had just been thinking that we should get one together.
I too have also poas a few times!

Hello/congrats/good luck to all the newbies!

Had a great day yesterday, but was maybe because Tuesday is my busiest day that I never really had a chance to stop. But today I am shattered and have such a horrible headache that I wish the sun wouldnt shine soo bright. Not sure if im coming down with something or if its just par for the course.

Is anyone else having problems finishing a meal? I havent finished a meal since the weekend, feeling really full and icky during meals. Regardless of the being soo hungry I feel sick prior to the meal.

We'r not planning on telling anyone before the scan but strongly think we will need to long before then. Between now and the scan we have several birthday parties and Brownie Camp(which my mum will also be at). Oh and weekly Weightwatchers meeting with my mum - eek!!!

Sho x

ShimmeryPixie · 04/05/2011 14:31

I've started feeling a bit 'off' at mealtimes too. I have told one person, on the understanding that she will keep very very schtum. I won't be telling anyone else until July, and will just have to do the 'I'm on antibiotics' line at the wedding I'm attending later this month.

Browncoats · 04/05/2011 15:24

magaddict a very quiet hello then, looking forward to seeing you back soon hopefully!

We've told a few people already, I figure that even if something does go wrong we'll need all the support around us and everyone's been very understanding. I asked them not to ask too many questions and that I'd keep them all updated with news when I got it.

Everyone seems to have loads of "do's" on! I've been quite lucky this month, it's noones birthday so I don't have to make up any excuses for people who don't already know. Although I do have a few next month though.

Browncoats · 04/05/2011 15:27

shonnomanom yeah, I've been feeling that way too. I'm absolutely starving for most of the day and really look forward to tea time, then sit down with the plate in front ready to dig in, get two bites eaten and I'm just not interested any more.

A lot more things are starting to make me feel ill this time around too. I mean smells and textures. I made a curry last night which is normally one of my favourite meals and the texture of the cauliflour was really putting me off. We also had leftovers (which hardly ever happens) and I tried to put it into a container in the fridge. I got as far as lifting the lid off the pot and had to run to the bathroom.

d0gFace · 04/05/2011 18:36

Ive been eating loads, but I'd have to be really rough not to touch my food. :)

Keep getting mild cramping in my tummy area, which Im starting to find rather annoying. Bloated and gastastic!

Buttertart · 04/05/2011 19:26

Hello all! I'd be most pleased if I can join, and more pleased if I can stay. Have a DS who's 2.2, and we've been trying since Jan last year for another. Had loads of tests, etc and was just about to set up appt for IVF, when got my BFP (after a cycle of Clomid)! Had a m/c before DS, and am ancient (41 last month), so am petrified I'll lose this one.

But for the moment, v happy!

d0gFace, I'm the same - v bloated with mild cramping, defo not off my food (rare indeed), and nothing else. Have pushed on my right Biscuit so many times today in the hopes that it might be feeling tender that it now feels tender. You take what you can get :)

Oh, and EDD is 2/2/12. Bonjour, Jan 2012-ers!

GiraffeAHolic · 04/05/2011 19:31

Welcome buttertart. I conceived this bean the month after my fourth failed clomid cycle.

I'm a fellow boob prodder, if they didn't hurt they damn well do now Blush

knittiekitty · 04/05/2011 20:03

Hi everyone, lots of congrats to all and can this queasy one join in too please? BFP on Monday!
The calc says EDD Jan 4th and I have DD aged 4 who has been campaigning for a sister (but not a bro) for the past year or so.

I'm getting waves of nausea since yesterday which is earlier than last time and sat through a 1-2-1 with my manager today that was punctuated with me retching. Think it might have been his filter coffee (or coffee breath?) but it helped speed the meeting up nicely. I retched regularly until about 7 months last time, so got quite used to scaring people. Luckily never chucked once though!

I have doc booking appt on Sat which gives me a few more days to worry about the wodge of pate I worked through last week. I love it, had no idea of bean onboard and am now worrying about the Vit A - hope it's early enough to be ok.

tigana · 04/05/2011 20:16

DH appears disappointed I have not yet had a morning vomit session! He is convinced that with DS I was being sick almost as soon as I got a BFP. I was certainly feeling nauseous all day and being sick most mornings before 8 weeks, but think 4/5 weeks might be pushing it!

Had to wrap my cardi around me at work after spotting huge blue boob vein above neckline of my top in the mirror in the ladies.

We not planning to telling anyone until around the 12 week mark. Although...probably will need to tell my boss sooner, and I bet we tell the grandparents before 12 weeks too. In fact...if we see the ILs between now and early July they will guess due to lack of alcohol consumption ( antibiotics etc etc will not wash with them Grin).
