No booze for our heads,
No clubbing, no Class A's,
No more pants of red

The midwives in the hossie,
Looked down where we lay,
A bunch of old, evil hags,
Fucked on Gas and A.

Ho, ho, ho you bunch of Hoes. Xmas Grin

Evening Laydeez.

Had 12 week scan today, all was marvellous, and I finally believe there is an actual baybee in there. So I've added myself to The List:

MsFC · 29/12/2010 22:06

I didn't have the flu jab because I don't tend to catch bugs and I read somewhere that if too many peole have it then the bug mutates and becomes resistant, and then it's less effective for high risk groups.

Then bugger me, ive spent the last week with a really crappy cold. That'll learn me.

Muser · 29/12/2010 22:19

Congrats on a good scan Foxy. It does make it all seem a bit more real, doesn't it?

I am exhausted after a lovely visit with TinyNeph and the long drive back from the North. So glad I am not back at work until next week.

Scorps I am boaking at the idea of eating salmon that's been sat out for that long. Bleeee.

Ariesgirl · 29/12/2010 22:39

How's the flu FC? You're still with us I see? That'll teach you to be smug about your immune system. I too have learned the error of my ways ("I'm never ill. Haven't had a cold for three years even") after sneezing, coughing, vomiting and pooing through the festive season. I am a shadow of my former self Grin
Hope the rest of you PESHes are ok? Any word on Pol?

Muser · 29/12/2010 22:44

Sympathy to the poorly Aries and MsFC, although from a distance as, eewww, gross. Also I don't want your germs. Colds are miserable.

How are you Aries my luvver?

Ariesgirl · 29/12/2010 22:48

I believe I may live, thanks Muse. Not the greatest Christmas ever. I now have a total aversion to almost all foodstuffs and alcohol and am wondering what I should eat for the rest of my life. All meat products - out. Fish - out. Eggs - . Crisps - not too bad. This may be useful practice for diffage.

Am being dramatic - doubtless I'll be troughing my face soon enough again.

Medee · 29/12/2010 22:48

good news foxyloxy

I have ordered a Quinny, Scorps, so we can be ostracised together!

MsFC · 29/12/2010 23:11

Hey up riester! You've been ill too? And D&V so trumps a cold. I shall stop moaning. Especially as it must have meant you missing all the lovely food...

I shall stay North of the river muse, to quarantine my germs.

Ariesgirl · 29/12/2010 23:16

I had both Very messy indeed. I even repulsed myself.

ginhag · 29/12/2010 23:23

Oh Aries how we have missed you and your snotty pukey pooey charm Grin

Sounds feckin shite luvver, am glad you are on the mend though.

Congrats fox :)

And, erm...other stuff to other people, can't bloody remember now. Brain is a big lump of pointless useless shite.

ginhag · 29/12/2010 23:26

Oh... My consultant insists I'm due on 27th. But I don't think I care enough to be arsed changing the list.

And also, I am really really going to try to remember to ring re flu jab tomorrow. I would like not to get any more broken please thank you.

Ariesgirl · 29/12/2010 23:26
ginhag · 29/12/2010 23:31

Am in bed, just can't sleep. Is that okay miss?

ginhag · 29/12/2010 23:32

I am going to try again in a sec. Just might nip for my 73rd wee of the evening first...

Ariesgirl · 29/12/2010 23:34

I suppose that's acceptable. I'm on my dad's computer and he keeps coming in to see what I'm doing!

ginhag · 29/12/2010 23:39

Well let's hope he doesn't get worried by me giving you a goodnight smackeroo!

(it's ok Aries Dad it's all quite innocent, I just think your daughter is rather super. My feelings are pure and my intent is honourable Grin )

Night night luvver

PerfectDromedary · 30/12/2010 08:04

Gah, go to bed because you have to get up for work and miss all the hot girl-on-girl action.

Did you know that www.loveitloveitloveit.co.uk have 20% off all stock orderered before New Year? It has still cost me a fortune, mind you...

I'm off for my flu jab this morning. Have waited until now as only just over 12 weeks and been too sick to contemplate going. Am back to work next week and worried all the returning students will be bringing vile germs back with them too, so think it's best to have it now.

I'm in the Bugaboo club (never realised there was one until now!). For those of you yet to use it, they're fab. I have walked miles with mine and it's great - much better than a Silver Cross umbrella fold pram I bought to take on holiday and which everyone told me I would use more.

Got to dash as I can smell a stinky nappy to be dealt with...

PerfectDromedary · 30/12/2010 09:57

Not entirely sure where the Bugaboo club has come from...there seems to be more of a Kindle club on this thread. I got one for Christmas, too. It is the future and shiz - as Muse said, not for "keeper" books but for the trash that fills up my shelves and means regular trips to the charity shop to donate it to worthier homes.

PLUS. I can sit on my sofa, read a review of something that sounds interesting, go to the Kindle store and download it and start reading. IT IS SO COOL. And slightly easier to hold one-handed than the iPad, which I love, too, but in a different way.

Although there is no Kindle edition as yet of this which I am absolutely desperate to read.

LadyGoneGaga · 30/12/2010 10:09

Wow, July has really filled up and I'm right at the back of the list still!

I have my M&P Pliko Pramette leftover from last time. And will be transferring into the lightweight Maclaren as soon as the blighter can hold head up. Although will prob use sling most of time like last time. Am quite jealous of the Bugaboo but really can't justify not using old buggie sadly.

Love to all the ill people.

And just wondering why Pol so quiet? Eyes suspiciously.

OP posts:
Muser · 30/12/2010 10:23

You'll zoom up soon enough LadyG. I am slightly concerned by how close to the top of the list I am. It creeps up on you.

I am trying to decide what to do with my day. The urge to organise is nearly overwhelming. It's not natural I tell you.

ginhag · 30/12/2010 10:42

muse please to come to my house and organise me? Ta very lots.

Very woolly-headed this morning, couldn't sleep properly last night at all. Very glad to be off work (sorry cam)

I am not joining a bugaboo club, simply as I do not feel like the sort of person that should be in one. I do own a beautifully stained and rather chewed chameleon, which does it's job well enough to get pulled out of the cupboard for when thing 2 appears. I like the fact it faces me, and it stands up well to being driven into Walls in a haze of sleep deprivation. But I am taking the Groucho Marks Amendment on the club ta :)

My house is a fucking bomb site and I have about 50 things I need to do before lunchtime. So obviously I am still in bed...

ginhag · 30/12/2010 10:43

it's its bloody auto-correct

PrincessBoo · 30/12/2010 10:45
PerfectDromedary · 30/12/2010 10:47

My house is DISGUSTING. Seriously, fetid. The bathrooms still aren't properly finished (fecking useless fecking expensive fecking bathroom designer bod who has failed to supply all the bits and pieces he promised so that the builders couldn't fit countertops and sinks even though everything else is done), boiler seems to be incapable of staying hot for two showers, all possessions moved out of study but no new carpet for weeks so entire rest of flat covered in books and bookshelves and general tat and the dust from the bathroom but no space to clean it...

I think I might just move. It's probably simpler.
