Welcome to the world Reuben.

Sam hope you are ok.

Today I thought I felt periody first thing. Then thought I was having BH as was feeling short pains on the side o bump and bump feeling heavy. Somehow I think it's all in my imagination. I am feeling bit strange but can't put my finger on it and am wondering if I should call MW or not.

Hermya321 · 18/10/2010 15:47

Silver Ooooo that sounds interesting, it could be early labour. I was feeling a bit odd today, but the feeling has passed for me at the moment.

I did have cramps the majority of the morning, but they've tailed off for now.

H have not mentioned to HI as don't want to get him all excited. Chances are it will be something and nothing.

V cold here today!

Xavielli · 18/10/2010 16:04

I've felt 'periody' all day today - I don't think it means anything

For the first time in my life, I feel let down by Haagen-daas. Chocolate, Praline and Caramel is not as nice as Pralines and Cream. Or maybe thats just my preggo taste buds. I could kill for a box of Guylian....

SilverSky · 18/10/2010 16:11

X mine started when we were walking the mutt first thing but didn't seem to last long. My tum now just feels achey.

Bleurrgghhhh to chocolate icecream. I had pizza and a caramel choux bun for lunch !

Xavielli · 18/10/2010 16:19

Well, all these aches and pains are moving us in the right direction - none of us are getting further away from having our babies! hehe

Hermya321 · 18/10/2010 16:21

People, don't dance around to Lady Gaga in your kitchen in the vague hope that it will 'help'.

All it will do is make you trip and hurt your ankle and remind you that your dignity has long since passed.

Hermya Grin.

Well dd had gained weight although not loads so shes slipping down the centiles. HV watched me bf and adjusted my hold so hope that will help get more hind milk. As i type I am acually bfing in public for the first time. At a local play centre with dp and ds (and dd obviously!).

SilverSky · 18/10/2010 18:36

All aches have now done a Houdini. My money is still on Thursday.

BackAgain · 18/10/2010 18:52

Started with a bit of period pain type aching this afternoon but trying not to get excited. I think we will have lots of babies at the weekend due to the full moon!

hermya lol at the thought of dancing to lady gaga I don't know where you are getting the energy from!

Congratulations to ninth my eyes are watering at the size! Good to hear a positive induction story as I am a bit worried about that

floozy hope bfing goes well I am off to see the bf advisor tomorrow as it really didn't work for me with dd and want to try again. Well done for getting out and about!

Fingers crossed everyone has a good night ... With maybe news of some arrivals

Tyson86 · 18/10/2010 19:00

I want a quick moan please, i have a 2 week old newborn baby, tonsilitis and a really painful wisdom tooth coming through. Ive been ill since last Thursday. :(

Good luck to all those with signs of early labour. Grin

nymphadora · 18/10/2010 19:07

Post from muggle on the other thread in case you don't look there again! Baby boy -Lucas, can't link or copy over as I'm on my phone.

Congrats muggle when you make it over here!

Vikks · 18/10/2010 21:43

Ninth & Muggle Congratulations on the save arrivals of your little ones. I?m so excited to join you. Enjoy your snuggles!

Hermya Lovely shiny new thread. I guess we have to give birth at some point on this one! Grin

Well I had fun and games today at the ?sweep? appointment. Firstly the MW couldn?t do the sweep as my cervix was too high and then she told me that she thought that Harry was breech! She phoned the hospital to make me a presentation scan appointment and they said the earliest they could do was Friday! Angry
Cue mad panic and tears, 40+9 before I would find out! The MW said that if I went into labour before then there wouldn?t be time to try and turn him. I was more concerned that I would have no time to think about vaginal breech delivery or C section. DH was all set to get me a private scan when the MW said that she might know a sneaky way to get me seen fast. One more phone call and we were up at the hospital getting scanned on the delivery ward?..and he was head down! Talk about relief. Harry is fine and in a good position and we got to see him one last time before D-day.
Next step is another try at of a sweep on Wednesday morning, so maybe I?m another contender for the 20.10.2010. Wink x

BionicEar · 18/10/2010 23:14

Ninth and Muggie congratulations on the arrival of your boys.

Ninth thank you for posting positive birth story though I must admit I went Shock when read how big your baby was and then wow at the fact you did all this naturally!

Think I've had a wee bit of nesting syndrome as decided to reorganised kitchen cupboard so I could put some stuff in that that been sat in a box for ages in the spare room. Haven't quite finished as was knackered after couple of hours attacking it. So will have to carry on tomorrow.

Been getting some aches and pain but nothing to get excited about. Have started feeling like baby dropped as started walking a bit John Wayne like! Grin

Hope you all sleep well tonight and that we'll have more babies on here. Wonder if we'll get any 20/10/2010 babies?!

floozietoozie · 18/10/2010 23:16

Ninth and muggle'congratulations on Reuben and Lucas. We had rEuben as a shortlist name last time I've just remembered. Muggle, are you a Spooks fan by any chance ????

Vikks glad harry is behaving himself after all.

floozietoozie · 18/10/2010 23:27

Meant to say Ninth I'm do glad your birth experience was good after last tome and it wasgood to hear a positive induction story even fore whose had the baby and won't be doing it again (or at least is highly unlikely to!). Also Muggle on the quick post yours sounds good too?

Tyson so sorry you are ill. It's knackering enough just havin the baby to look after never mind deal with other stuff. Speedy recovery.

A 20102010 baby would be good. Shall we have a sweep on it(sorry for DREADFUL pun Grin)?

floozietoozie · 18/10/2010 23:29

Even for me who's had the baby, that should be.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 19/10/2010 07:23

Hi all. Marking place. Elsa where are you?

nymphadora · 19/10/2010 07:38

Morning all , exhausted this am after a 3 hour feed before bed last night. Kept giving dd3 to dh to see if she really did want food but she did! Didn't make her sleep any linger though!

Vikks- what a fuss! Glad everything is ok

Xavielli · 19/10/2010 08:15

Congrats muggle

I want my baby!! More bloody show last night but not a niggle yet today. Would be nice to have baby this week or weekend so I don't have to worry about school runs next week.

Dropping the kids off at school then going to a lovely little chocolate shop in town, they may offer me shares by the time I've had this child!
