lozzer I know what you mean, I suspect I won't be convinced until the little blighter is latched on to one nip (after having been politely sneezed out off my foof, of course) and possibly not even then.

I have been weighing myself every now and then and haven't put on too much yet, although my waist line belies this. I haven't really been that attracted to white carbs although have been eating lots more spuds which were banned from our house before I got diffed. I have been eating loads more biscuits and jelly sweets tho (Natural sweet company stocks will probably do pretty well over the next few months if you need an investment tip) And today I had to give away my lovingly crafted butternut and nut soup as it was WAY too rich. Ended up eating 3 rivita instead and am now BLOODY STARVING!!!

Gob smacked about the DV statistics, WTF? And poor Lily Allen, is so sad and doubly hard that she has to go through it in the lime light. I hope the press respect their request to be given some privacy.

SomethingSuitablyWitty · 01/11/2010 19:17

Signing in and signing out: have been having mild contractions all day and now they are no longer really mild... Midwife due in an hour. Fingers crossed for me ladies. Will be a long night I think.

MrsFC · 01/11/2010 19:27

Casserole · 01/11/2010 19:33

Rest and eat/drink now, if you can.

Muser · 01/11/2010 19:35

rollerbaby · 01/11/2010 19:45

OMG OMG OMG witty you bloody queue jumper!! :O

Wishing you all the luck in the world!!! Enjoy your baybee at the other end!! xxxxx

rollerbaby · 01/11/2010 19:48

By the way soft furnishings and cake in Peter Jones is NOT my idea of PESH Xmas party...

For that we need a wine bar and sausage rolls.

MrsFC · 01/11/2010 19:53

No - I agree - Peter Jones & cake is merely an appetiser...

CurlyCasper · 01/11/2010 19:57

OOh I come back from a few days away and just on time to spot the queue jumper. Thinking of you switty. Sneeze away!

PollyPoo · 01/11/2010 20:19

How exciting! Good luck Switty!

rocketleaf · 01/11/2010 20:31

Loads of luck switty hope its just the right amount of swift.

CluckyKate · 01/11/2010 21:02

Go go Switter - breathe & relax.

How exciting.....two new PESHlets on their way - these things usually come in threes no???

TwinkleToes76 · 01/11/2010 21:33

SSW good luck!

Any update from Silver?

I feel so rough. Constant low level sickness and it is driving me nuts. I didn't really have any MS with my first pregnancy and am not generally a sicky person so don't really know what to do with myself. Am facing the next couple of weeks pretty much on my own with my daughter and I'm dreading it! The only things keeping me going are satsumas and dry crackers. I need to eat constantly to stop feeling sick but then half an hour later feel worse than ever! HELP!

Scorpette · 01/11/2010 21:34

Ooooh, TwitTwoo, I hope you have your lavender-scented, lace-edged lady-hanky to do your delicate and discreet sneeze into Wink We'll be thinking about you XX

Muser · 01/11/2010 22:16

Ok, why did my belly grow 3 sizes bigger between my leaving work and my arriving home? I did not eat anything. It just went whooosh.

Medee · 01/11/2010 22:22

woohoo Switty!

Ariesgirl · 01/11/2010 22:29

Good luck Switty! Hope it's no more than a swift "Atishoooo. Ooh look there's a baby!"

laurielou · 02/11/2010 08:03

switty good luck! And thanks for taking the time to post when things were hotting up. I do like your commitment to the BESH.

laurielou · 02/11/2010 08:05

Bollocks - I'm in the world of PESH now, aren't I? Grin

Muser · 02/11/2010 08:36

It's one world really laurie, we are all ESH.

Casserole · 02/11/2010 09:15

That happens at some point Muse . I remember mine happening at about your stage last time around. Went to bed with a smallish bump and woke up looking about 3 months more pregnant - people actually gasped when I went into the office the next morning!

Hang in there Twinkie - it's miserable I know. Keep eating little and often if you can. And keep drinking - for me that was harder but I definitely noticed my lowest points coincided with my most dehydrated points.

Oh, and put cbeebies on for your toddler while you lie down!

Casserole · 02/11/2010 09:26

Sorry, just read that back and it reads a bit dismissive Muse - I meant it to read more in a solidarity, yes, isn't that freaky type way!

PerfectDromedary · 02/11/2010 09:37

Muse EXACTLY the same thing has happened to me.

Canz I gatecrash the cake and tea in Peter Jones, pliz?

OkieCokie · 02/11/2010 09:42

C'mon witty you go girl! And where has Silv gone? Silver come back and tell us all about it.

Would love to join the Dec Esh meet. But why on earth Peter Jones?! What about Westfield. There is a nice champagne bar there and other watering establishments.

Had a total break down with our boys name last week and was feeling somewhat "lost" about not having even a short list. We had quite a row about it actually. I would suggest alternatives and Mr C would just dismiss them all without any consideration. His suggestions were all ridiculous. Anyhows, 1 name came to us last night and we both seem to like equally so we may be back on track.

Twinks I feel for you with the sickness and a toddler in tow. There were a couple of occasions I couldn't cope and had to call husband home early from work to help. Mine passed in about 3 weeks (weeks 7-10 were the worst). Go to bed early and if your LO has a nap in the day you must nap too.

Muser · 02/11/2010 09:52

I think mine may have gone back down again. It was probably a Wind Baby. Awww.

Westfield is the Wrong South London. Is it even south? It's bloody miles away.
