Morning!

yellow I know what you mean - 5+4 here and still no symptoms other than a line and an absence of period! I always think this stage is a bit like a phony pregnancy, there's nothing to make you think it's real. I too am waiting for my early scan but even then I won't feel safe until afer 9 weeks...

Sunny and cold here in Southampton, hope everyone else isn't too frozen!

takethatlady · 21/10/2010 09:28

mrshedgie sorry you're having a bad time. If you're 7+6 though doesn't that mean that you're out of the most dangerous zone? I read that once you get to 8 weeks and a heartbeat is detected you can start to relax. Gall stones sounds terrible though and I hope you start feeling better soon.

yellowtomato tell me about it! My boobs are not feeling sore today - they've been up and down since I got my BFP but today is the least sore day of all and I can't help letting it worry me. Still doing my temps every day and it was high this morning so I'm praying that's a good sign. Don't want to get too excited as I'm only 4+3 I reckon (though God knows where exactly I am). But I cannot believe it's only been a week since my BFP! It feels like a month! I cannot take how slowly time is moving ... feels like I'm underwater!

Wobblewatcher · 21/10/2010 09:43

Thanks TTL

Yes I agree you have to know, although like you, I felt very pregnant. It's also useful to know to hurry up any investigations one may need.

This month feels different though.

SO GLAD THERE ARE OTHERS WITH PAIN IN BOOBAGE COMING AND GOING.

Sorry, had to shout that, a few days ago they were so so sore and now just the odd twinge. If there are many of us with this I'm sure it's fine!!!

Now going to investigate re price of private scan!

takethatlady · 21/10/2010 09:48

Oh wobblewatcher thanks for the capital letters. That's just what I needed! I did do a whole thread about it on Sunday and people reassured me it was normal.

But I still can't help but judge the state of my pregnancy relative to boob pain. I jump up and down, I run up and down stairs, I prod and poke, I take my bras on and off, ... I have become obsessed with my boobs!

Which is ridiculous as clearly the pain is on and off Grin

moomin156 · 21/10/2010 09:51

Morning everyone.....hope everyone has a good day today. With you all on the boob pain sometimes its bad and sometimes its just a mild ache. 6+5 for me i think today and have just heaved on my coffee.......first sign of anything and i LOVE coffee.[hsad]

mslittlebump · 21/10/2010 09:54

My boobs are a lot less sore than last week, but crikey have they grown!! I'm 36B and my usual bras are starting to feel too snug in the cup. (My partner is, of course, delighted by this.)

Still no morning sickness, touch wood. I've had some cravings for chocolate ice cream and pizza which I gave into, even though I avoid dairy and wheat/gluten these days.

My main issue is feeling a bit down and frumpy. I know I'm not showing yet, my weight is the same yet I feel fat. I don't feel like going out anywhere except for errands. It's my friend's big birthday bash this weekend though, so I'm going to dress up and make myself go out.

Wobblewatcher · 21/10/2010 10:08

Oh will look up that thread TTL...

mummynumber2 · 21/10/2010 10:21

Mrshedge Thatsounds awful, hope you're on the mend soon.
I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself too. Ivf, loosing one twin and nearly 2 weeks at home doing hardly anything alongside terrible morning sickness (which is actually very reassuring) are taking it out of me! Wonnaywombat I wish I could watch food on tv or be in the same room as practically any food without gagging! Last night resorted to plain jacket potato, seems to be the only thing I can even look at! Even water makes me feel sick, although Luozade is staying down this morning! Really feel for all of you that have to ue public transport, how do you manage?

Beesok I'm finding it hard to start making plans for a baby yet, it just seems so uncertain at the moment. I'm intregued about how the montessori bedroom works though.

Another scan tomorrow!

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 21/10/2010 10:22

I just wanted to say that my boobs don't hurt but my goodness my nipples are agony! They've been sore in the evenings the last couple of days, but apparently, now they are sore full time. It's a good thing I haven't taken DS to toddlers because my friends would think I'm a bit odd sitting there rubbing my chest the whole time.
The price I pay for porn star boobs (as I call my pg boobs).

mummynumber2 · 21/10/2010 10:28

Oh and on the boob thing is about the only part of this i'm loving! Mine aren't hurting but gave got huge! Those of you who have been through this before, what's the best kind of bra to get? None of mine fit me now, butI don't want to have to keep buying new bras every couple of weeks.

wonnaywombat · 21/10/2010 10:42

I've just started the new thread - see link below - as we've only got 14 posts left on this one before the 1,000 post limit is reached!

My goodness - what a bunch of chatterboxes we are!

Here's the Jue in June thread I just started - see you there soon Smile

PercyPigPie · 21/10/2010 20:56

All over for me I think Sad Sad. I didn't really properly introduce myself on this thread, but this was a much longed for pregnancy. It was a bit of a miracle as I am 45 and the baby would have been born when I was 46, so obviously very high risk from the start.

I have children already, so know how being properly pregnant feels, and I have been worried for some time that I didn't feel properly pregnant.

Today I was scanned and instead of being 7+2, the baby was tiny (about 2-3mm) - the sonographer thinks it may somehow have had a tiny heartbeat, but it was too slow. I have to go back in a week, but I already know the answer SadSad.

Good luck to everyone else. It has made me giggle seeing all you thirty somethings describe yourselves as 'old birds'.

KatyOT · 23/10/2010 18:51

Hi everyone I'm Katy 32, I'm due in June 2011. My Sis (who is due to give birth any minute) told me that she has found chatting on mumsmet a great support, so I thought I'd join too. This is my 2nd pregnancy, unfortunately I had an early miscarriage 7 Months ago. Really excited but find myself panicking about every little niggle. Got a feeling of pressure on my left side (near my hip bone), does anyone know if this is normal? I don't have any pain or bleeding so trying not to worry too much.
Sorry to hear your sad news Mudandmayhem x

beth2580 · 03/11/2010 19:47
