i think my baby is dead

i started bleeding with lots of clots and had pain this morning. Am just waiting for doctor to ring me back. I have just passed something that looks like it could have been 'it' (sorry if TMI) Have had 3 miscarriages before and it feels like deja vu again. DH is miles away and can't get home.

Am totally gutted.

didnt read further down that bleeding hadstopped, in that case its possible you are either
still preg
have had a missed miscarriage
or have an ectopic
i hope its the first, but i dont want to scare you but you must have a scan,as your bleeding has been heavy, there isarisk of ectopic preg, if you cant get to hospital, call an ambulance.

the doctor rang. I have to go for a scan but they can't fit me in until tomorrow afternoon. its at 3.15pm, so will just have to wait til then. have had no more bleeding or pain so I don't know what is going on at the moment. the doctor said that it sounds unlikely to be a viable pregnancy anyway...

If you have any more bleeding or pain, call an ambulance in case it's ectopic.

Sorry you have to wait so long. Down where I was, the hospital ran a drop in clinic for scanning: you turned up and waited. Because I was admitted to hosptial, I had to wait until all the walk-in mums had been seen so I waited until about 11:30 and that was bad enough. Know how you are feeling right now . My GP also said it sounded like I had lost the baby but I hadn't. The emotion when I found out I still had the baby was stronger than anything I have ever felt before or since. Hang on in there T!

What an unfeeling ass of a boss your dh unfortunately has. Still living at home at 40 says it all!

I have to admit, I got taken to hospital in an ambulance and admitted for a couple of nights (second night more due to NHS incompetence than me but never mind) because I exagerated the pain (and also because I got rather hysterical). When you think about what was actually happening to me (I lost an undeveloped twin) it was pretty minor really. Most of the loss occurred days later when I was at home (but reassured because I was told it would happen). Reassurance is the name of the game here. If you want it, you should have it, I think.
