Many thanks to ILike for passing on the baton to myself and Harry . I know we are a bit previous but I am worried I will get the timing wrong .

I feel like I have only been here a wee while but it is invaluable to me .

This is a poem that has helped me in the past .

I have not turned my back on you
So there is no need to cry.
I'm watching you from heaven
Just beyond the morning sky.

I've seen you almost fall apart
When you could barely stand.
I asked an angel to comfort you
And watched her take your hand.

She told me you are in more pain
Than I could ever be.
She wiped her eyes and swallowed hard
Then gave your hand to me.

Although you may not feel my touch
Or see me by your side.
I've whispered that I love you
While I wiped each tear you cried.

So please try not to ache for me
We'll meet again one day.
Beyond the dark and stormy sky
A rainbow lights the way.

I can't see it either Dee. You either have to add us as friends. Or you have to put a picture on your profile page that anyone can see (something random if you don't want to put a personal one) then add the christening pictures on the 'your photo's' bit. Does that make sense?

travellingwilbury · 29/04/2009 20:10

She looks gorgeous . I would have been terrified of trying that on before the big day as mine would have definetly dribbled on it .

We have got some beautiful victorian gowns but mine were big old heifers that wouldn't fit into them

travellingwilbury · 29/04/2009 20:14

My friend had a look at Lews pictures on FB and emailed me to say 'oh there's lush init' LOL - whenever we visit I come home saying things like 'there's beautiful init' and 'come down by 'ere' I love the South Welsh accent.

travellingwilbury · 29/04/2009 20:41

Lush is definetly the right word for him Shabs x

Good morning girls - Good luck TW!!!!

travellingwilbury · 30/04/2009 06:19

I think I might need it Shabs .

Feeling a bit maudlin today No rhyme or reason for it but I know once the boys have goine to school and pre school I will have to have a bit of a "moment" otherwise it will only get worse .

OP posts:
shabster · 30/04/2009 06:43

Know what you mean TW - I get like that every now and then and struggle to 'shake it off.'

frasersmummy · 30/04/2009 07:55

morning girls

better out than in TW .. have a right good bubble and then you will feel more like getting organised

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 30/04/2009 08:10

{{{hugs}}} TW

Just echoing what others have said, let yourself feel maudlin, then slowly slowly the feeling will lift.

Take care xxx

Morning all, more insensitive comments on that other thread! the original unpleasent person has come back and said more things!!

travellingwilbury · 30/04/2009 08:20

Thank you all of you . I am going to take the boys in a minute then come back and have some time on my own . I hate feeling like I have to "book" time in to grieve , just feels a bit unreal .

Lottie - just ignore her sweetheart - the same old faces always turn up on a bereavment thread - Im suprised that more of them havent to be honest.

I can only put this here - because you know I'm barking mad

This morning Tom wanted a sausage butty!!! I buttered the bread and he asked for brown sauce. I was smiling to myself thinking about how much Matt loved brown sauce. There was very little left and when I squirted it we got a farty noise - that really amused Lewis. I glanced down at the small blob and it had formed a perfect heart shape.... I had to show Tom and he said 'just Matt letting you know its going to be a good day.'

Please do not send the men in white coats to get me - honestly it was a perfect heart shape

travellingwilbury · 30/04/2009 10:02

Shabs that is lovely , I think if the men in white coats were going to take you away they would have done so a loooong time ago

Tom sounds so lovely , he does seem to say the right thing x

frasersmummy · 30/04/2009 10:24

shabs I think its lovely you see Matt around you ... so either you are normal or they will be sending the white coats this way too

I ignored your emminently sensible advice of ignore that other thread
