Hello my good friends

Its lovely to be asked to set up our new support tread especially as we head towards our first festive season supporting each other.

I hope Frasers part of the journey is as smooth as Eris, Jack and Matt&Gareths

Everlong - you cant bring us 'down' we are all only half a step away from 'down' it lifts us up to be able to tell you about our experiences and try to help you along the path.

Lottie - candles lit - thinking of you all. Big hugs from Bolton xxx

I have just recieved a really wonderful present , I have been friends with someone I met on TCF for ages now and although we have never met in rl (she is very inconsiderate and lives hundreds of miles away )
I consider her to be a real friend .

I don't know if she comes on here but I am going to tell you all anyway .

She has sent me a christmas ornament of a sweet little fireplace with christmas stockings hanging and there are 3 stockings with ALL my boys names on

Nobody else I know would think that was an ok thing to do but it has really made my christmas and C if you do read on here

Thank you , you are a star

TW - I know how special that gift is...what a thoughtful wonderful thing to do. You have made me smile this morning

lottiejenkins · 22/12/2008 11:48

We have just got back from Jacks grave, my friend Liz drove me over, she had made an ivy wreath (heart shaped) for Wilf to put on the cross and i put the flowers in the stone pot for him too. Thanksyou for all your messages. We are away from this afternoon at 2.30 till Sunday lunchtime. I have just heard that a little boy has drowned in a swimming pool at Eurodisney... dont know which hotel though.

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 22/12/2008 12:40

The wreath sounds just beautiful Lottie.

Each year that we go on holiday there are problems with airlines, stories of food poisionings, rapes, murders etc etc and they all seem linked to Rhodes!! Lottie - this is yours and Wilfs special, special time. Jack and your DH will keep you safe. Paint on your smile and enjoy every last single moment of it.

Safe journey, good times, and a big hug to both of you xxxx

We also flew once on September 13th - two days after the Twin Towers. Our plane had four families on that consisted on Asian daddies and white Mummies with full burkas on (I have probably just mixed a religion and an place of birth up completly) The atmosphere at Manchester airport was both subdued and electric. We all sat in the gate area and none of us could take our eyes off the families. The airline company boarded the families first because they had about 15 children between them.

Nobody wanted to follow them onto the plane. I hate flying anyway but by the time we touched down in Rhodes I was in tears.

Obviously September 11th was not the fault of those families but I didn't think any of us would make it to Greece xx

Hello everyone.............sorry I have been absent on here, but wanted to say I hope you can all find some peace in your hearts this Christmas, I send special love to all of you who are facing their first Christmas without their beautiful child, it is so very hard. This is my 15th Christmas without Matthew, still feel angry going to the cemetery as I will tomorrow, just leaving flowers and cards, not fair, not right. He fills my heart and head so thats something that nothing can ever take away. My love and strength to you all, we will light our candles and they shall see each and every flame, xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hiya Everlong - your ears must be burning - Trips and myself have just been talking about you - nothing bad dont worry

Triplets son Matthew will be 30 next July - I thought he was.

Yes Lewis is very like his Daddy's twin brother - it was scary at first but now I love it. xx

silentnightnotatripletinsight · 22/12/2008 23:53

Hi Everlong.............so sorry you too are part of this club, none of us ever thought we`d join. There is nothing in this whole wide world can ever hurt you as much as this pain you are feeling now. It takes time, a lonh time, but it does soften and good things do come out of it, I would never ever have met my wonderful friend Shabs if we had not both lost our Matthews. Life will never be the same, we wear our masks, we cry inside, but we survive, we live on for them, we owe them that, and hard as though it is to believe now, there will be a day when you tilt your face up to the sun and can smile and be glad to feel the warmth of it. xxx Harry is ok atm thanks you, we had some news we were not expecting last week, another blip, but the news could have been worse, so we carry on, and look forward.

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 23/12/2008 00:02

For Trips

silentnightnotatripletinsight · 23/12/2008 00:05

Awwwwwwwwww Shabs, you never forget xxx
He so loved that song, strange when you think of the title, first cd he bought himself, still got it. Harry was actually sorting some out to go the other day, that was amongst it, I grabbed it and almost burst into tears, Harry had completely forgotten it was Matthews, they are soooooooo different to us aren`t they?

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 23/12/2008 00:07

Yes they are very different to us Trips.xxxx

evening all.. I am all organised for xmas ... cant believe it over 24 hours to got and i have all my presents wrapped, the house is clean and the food is all bought and I have all day tomorrow to eat drink and be festive

on the down side I have got rottne flu just in time for xmas ..

oh well..

we are still debating going to frasers garden on xmas day. I jsut want to go tomorrow and leave xmas day for Ross and dh had agreed.

Turns out he was just humouring me and now we are back to square one. I am sorely tempted to send him by himself but that doesnt seem right somehow

what kind of decision is this to have to make anyway.. shouldnt we just be debating how much bubbly we need???

sorry started quite positive there and then went in a downward spiral

shall we have a virtual group
