Hello my good friends

Its lovely to be asked to set up our new support tread especially as we head towards our first festive season supporting each other.

I hope Frasers part of the journey is as smooth as Eris, Jack and Matt&Gareths

travellingwilbury · 02/12/2008 10:49

Thank you , I don't really know what to do with my day today . I am feeling surprisingly together at the moment but I know I need a quiet day otherwise it could go horribly wrong .

Trying to get my backside into gear to do some housework

ILikeToHoHoHo · 02/12/2008 10:56

Well, if you don't know what to do. Don't do anything.

Take care xxx

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 02/12/2008 10:58

Well done TW - have a quiet day - Maybe, if you enjoy it, bit of baking?? I find the 'run up' to the day much worse than the actual day.

Will be thinking about Harry and all of you today - take care xxx

Hiya everlong - I love hugs - we will all need hundreds of them at this sodding festive time

Dont put too much pressure on yourself to be 'normal' whatever the hell that word means. I only recently started sending Christmas cards again and even now 26 yrs and 16yrs down the line I still put the lovley names Gareth and Matthew on my cards. They were my sons, they are my sons, they will forever be my sons.

Keep posting sweetheart you are amongst friends xxxxxx

Thats what my two best friends call me!! One of their little boys nicknamed me that about 3 years ago and it has stuck.

I always say I have had four sons when I am asked. Then it depends on the day, the person, the circumstances etc etc. Sometimes I tell my full story and other times I pretend they are all still here physically.......

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 02/12/2008 22:39

Beautiful song

I have put this song on many times but it just makes me smile and feel hopeful. xxxx

Good morning girls

travellingwilbury · 03/12/2008 07:01

Good morning all and a big thank you for all the support yesterday . It makes all the difference knowing others are thinking of you .

How is everyone today ? It is ffffff freezing here .

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 07:07

Morning darling. Glad you 'got through' yesterday.

Its sooooooooooo cold here, really horrible. The minute Summer has gone I feel down in the dumps. Dreading going out because the snow that fell yesterday partly melted and has now frozen solid

travellingwilbury · 03/12/2008 07:12

I would stay in , that sounds horrid .
You could always get some ice skates on and have some fun . Or maybe just a terrible accident waiting to happen

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 07:17

Yesterday morning we had about 3 inches of snow but no gritters on the main road. I usually cross Tom over and then let him walk up by himself. We crossed over and then watched cars, buses, motorbikes slide across the road towards the kids walking up!!! I walked to school with him and back twice All the way there and back I kept telling all the kids 'Dont walk on the kerb the cars are sliding.' From year 7 to the gigantic, cocky 16 year olds

Tom kept saying 'Mum shutup - you cant keep all 2,000 of my school safe!' It was a nightmare. This morning will probably be worse.

travellingwilbury · 03/12/2008 07:39

That does sound like a nightmare . You do well to even get of the house on days like that .

I would have loved to have seen the "cool" kids faces though

pinkfrogsroastingonanopenfire · 03/12/2008 07:40

They all had that 'Vicky Pollard' look. One or two asked could they buy a cigarette from me I had to stop myself dragging them out of the road and away from the kerb. I did hear one say 'Is that his Grandma!!!!!!!' Cheeky buggers

travellingwilbury · 03/12/2008 07:49

Your poor children , when they are cool and 16 they will be running screaming from you up the road pretending they don't know who you are

Mine will be just behind as well

Morning all........absolutely flippin freezing here today! I went out to do some bits of christmas shopping.......kept listening to christmas songs and dreading E17 coming on but thankfully it didnt. The house wont be finished before christmas by the sounds of it! I'm glad we are going to be away! Wilf still believes in Father Christmas and asked me if FC would be coming to Eurodisney.......... I had a brainwave and told him that the French people wouldnt understand an English FC!! I think it has worked!!!
