DH has just signed his DNR

That was a fun way to start the week.

All praise to NHS and our district nurses, hospital bed is coming tomorrow, fast track care funding being put in place and medications sorted for as and when DH needs them.

Take care of yourself and the children, be kind to yourself, and let others help.
However expected it is the void afterwards is immense.
It doesn't help you at all at the moment, but time is a great healer.
