That was a fun way to start the week.

All praise to NHS and our district nurses, hospital bed is coming tomorrow, fast track care funding being put in place and medications sorted for as and when DH needs them.

So glad that you don't sound alone. xx

I'm so sorry Five thinking of you and your family. ❤️

That was a hard experience, filming DS's leavers' ceremony for your DH & not having him there to share it. I'm so sorry.

I lost my own mum as a child during the school summer holidays. My heart goes out to you all as you navigate this path.

It was so very hard but the one thing I am grateful for was that my mum spent her last days at home and I would climb into her bed and just cuddle before things deteriorated too far. Seize every moment and love on each other - those memories will bring you comfort in the dark months ahead.

saraclara · 23/07/2019 23:18

I'm glad everyone is coming together to give you all the support they can. We found the hospital bed extremely helpful. My late husband was much more comfortable, and nursing him much easier for us.
