Our beautiful and brave DD3 lost her battle against a brain tumour on 2nd July. She was 6 years old. The end came very quickly, just 2 wks after we were told it had spread, though she had been ill for a few weeks, we were hoping it was just the chemo hitting her hard. So devastated, I am weeping all the time it seems, how can you help the other children cope when you can't do it yourself?
I am glad she died at home in our bed with me, my worst nightmare would have been a long slow decline in Birmingham Children's hospital, I am trying to comfort myself with this one thing. The grief seems unbearable otherwise.

My heartfelt condolences. Flora sounds like a great wee character, who will be sorely missed by many. I can't begin to imagine the pain you're feeling, but my thoughts are with you.

Rest in peace, Flora xx

I am so sorry for the loss of your little girl Flora, my mum died from a brain tumour, glioblastoma too, when she was 45 it was too very aggressive and quick. We now take great comfort from the fact her death wasn't prolonged but the shock was horrendous and I can only begin to imagine how you must be feeling.

I'm so sorry for your loss. No parent should have to go through the pain you are feeling. You will always be Flora's mum and your DCs will never forget their sister.

If you've not done so, please get in contact with CRUSE. They will be able to help you and your family. Take things one day at a time and take good care of yourself and family.
