I am so sorry to hear that your lovely Richard has gone. It seems like he hung on to be at home with you all and to share those last happy, precious moments together as a family. Much love to you and your family, we are all here for you now as we have always been.

Gone far too soon. So very, very sorry, Rinders. :(

It feels as though he hung on to get home and be back in the bosom of his family. You did right by him, Rinders. You fought for what he wanted and your deep love has shone through everything you've said and done.

Look after yourself and your girls and DSS, and hold them close.

Keep talking - we're all absolutely here for you.

Lots of love XXXXXXX

happymole · 14/04/2011 06:28

I'm so very sorry Rinders

Sad

Your Richard was where he wanted to be at the end, with his soulmate and children, surrounded by love.

Your love for him has shone though here so bright.

scooby26 · 14/04/2011 06:38

Oh RINDERS- much love and condolences to you and your children. Richard was clearly a much loved husband and father who had found peace. Being home, safe and loved was obviously what he had been waiting for. What a terrible time for you but what a beautiful, gentle and loving way for him to slip away from you. I cannot think of a more beautiful end to such a sad time- wholly fitting that you fought to get him home and that clearly it now seems that it was what his soul was waiting for- for it to be peaceful and loving to the end. Love and prayers to you all xxxx

chimchar · 14/04/2011 06:51

so very sorry to read your heartbreaking news.

will be thinking of you and your family rinders x

JaxTellersOldLady · 14/04/2011 07:09

Like many others have already said, I am glad that Richard had his last precious moments with all of you together at home.
So terribly sorry that you have had to go through this, I was shocked to read of his passing so soon. I was hoping for a miracle, or at least more time for you all to be together.

If there is anything that I can do, just let me know.

Thinking of you and your family. xx

PollyLogos · 14/04/2011 07:12

Been thinking of you a lot since I read this news last night. Amongst all the sadness I hope that this thought may be a little help. How peaceful to slip away from this life with the feel of your beloved wife holding your hand and listening to her talking with one of your children, all the time knowing that the rest of your family is very close by.

HavingAnOffDAy · 14/04/2011 08:44

Rinders, I've lurked on your threads but haven't posted until now.

I am so, so sorry for your loss, but am glad you managed to get him home & that he felt loved & secure enough to slip away in comfortable surroundings.

You are an amazing woman to be able to give him that chance.

You being strong enough to share this awful time with MN has really made to evaluate what is important in life.

Thinking of you all xx

billybookcase · 14/04/2011 08:51

So very very sorry to hear this. Be kind to yourself.

LizaTarbucksAuntie · 14/04/2011 09:00

I am so sorry, my heart dropped when I read this - too quick.

I'm so glad he made it home for you. I'm so pleased to hear it was so peaceful.

You are all in my prayers and I wish you comfort and peace.

There's just nothing I can think of that could make anything better.

I'm so sorry.

Tikkabillajive · 14/04/2011 09:03

Rinders, I thought of you as soon as I woke up this morning and I will be holding you in my thoughts today. I really hope you are surrounded by people who are able to give you lots of support and the hugs I'd like to give you if you were a 'real' friend rather than a 'virtual' one. Please make sure you take the time to look after yourself - you must be so worn out by looking after everyone else.

Lots of love xxx
