I posted about my DD and how she stopped cooing at 10 weeks. Everyone reassured me it was normal she was just learning something new.

She's 16 weeks on Monday & still no cooing. Did this happen to anyone else?

@Mona313 My son is now 2.5 years old and talks up a storm. He is doing speech therapy through ECI (early childhood intervention through the state) but they are very happy with his progress and think he’s right on track. Some things he says are a little hard to understand but I think that’s pretty normal. I would say all is well over here. I also stopped all vaccines and started healing him after he stopped babbling and cooing around 4 1/2 months because it happened the day after shots.

I just read all of this I’m crying happy tears, my 16 week old coos only sometimes hardly any at all, I’m worried sick , sick to the point I’m over analyzing her and just not having fun with her. I know she is picki my up on my mood it’s even effecting hers. She hasn’t laughed yet , and when she’s trying to mimics me laughing she kinda gives a coo instead. I read the autism list and I don’t know if I’m convincing myself she has it. Im wasting my days away worrying sick. This thread helped a lot though and gave me reassurance. I think I’ll stop googling as well.

Hi. Do you mind if I ask how was your daughter as a baby? Did she ever coo or babble?
