Yay me! Yay me! Yay me!

DH suggested the zoo when I said I had no plans for today. I really wanted to go as I love animals and knew DD and DS2 would love it too. DS1 not so sure as he is at that awkward age. I made them all a yummy packed lunch and off we went. I felt quite emotional as it felt like a big deal as I never do big days out on my own. It hadn't even crossed my mind not to go because they would be naughty [huge progress emoticon].

It was great to see the animals and the kids enjoyed their packed lunches. I left my lunch at home. DS1 was being pretty mean to DD, and about her, so I spent a lot of time ignoring him and telling her to do the same. Little git said being mean to her was the only thing that made him happy so I walked away to look at the rhinos.

Stopped at the shop to get a treat for the kids and a drink for me. Then panic as I couldn't find my purse. I suddenly realised it was at home on the floor as I had booked the tickets on line. Good job since I had no purse and good job I had packed lunches for the kids as I had no money to pay for lunch out.

I still haven't had lunch yet and I am knackered!

Fab, I didnt mean to upset you with my long-winded advice..
It was just a reflection of what worked for me and my situation when my son was continually out of control with anger and I was really upset and angry with him

Best wishes
