What’s the most unique and beautiful name you’ve ever heard?

Most unique and most beautiful aren't the same thing though - the most unique name can be unbeautiful by common standards. My grandmother's middle name was Eglantine - fairly unique in the world now, but beautiful to most people? Probably not! So which one do you want?

I love the name Adeline. Also Aurora. Clearly I have a thing for names beginning with A.

Egg-luhn-tine - to rhyme with 'seen' at the end. Means 'sweet briar' if memory serves. A bit like Augustine.

Dove for a girl. I just think it sounds so elegant and beautiful

Oh, that reminds me, I love the name Istria for a girl. Yes, I know it's a region in Croatia, but I think it makes a beautiful girl's name.

I loved the boy's name Carmine, still do, but DH said it was a bit Mafiosi for our West Midlands kid.
Meadow's a pretty rather than beautiful girls name, although that was Tony Soprano's kid's name.

My friend is called Rosie and I only found out at her wedding that it is short for Rosemary, which I think is a lovely name!

No such thing as most unique or fairly unique. Unique means there's only one!

For a girl I think Cassia is beautiful. Can't think of any beautiful boys' names but I do like Asher.

I'm not sure why, but I find Malachi a beautiful boys name. I have never met one although I know two Malik's.

Aster for a girl, or Wren.

I recently heard the name Danira, pronounced like Dah-nee-ra. I think that is a beautiful name

Around 1993, I worked for a Greek/english family who had a little girl called Athanasia (they pronounced it Athan-a-see-a though google tells me there’s other ways!) and I thought it was the most beautiful name I’d ever heard.

I really like Aurelia.

I think it's quite subjective though. Some of the names mentioned above are definitely not beautiful to my ears!
