What does the name Gus bring to mind? (Last one from me, I promise!)

Regardless of full name, if we call our son by the name Gus, what does it bring to mind?

My friend has a very handsome ginger tom called Gus so I have positive associations with it.

I really like it. It’s a really cool name. I’d expect Gus to be quite laid back and a nice guy. I also like the name Guy as well.

Love names like Angus, Fergus but in my accent, the name ending isn’t pronounced the same as Gus which might explain it.

I think of Augustus Gloop.

I think it sounds super cool and I really like it.

It makes me think of the mouse from Cinderella and other humorous tv characters because I don’t know anyone called Gus in real life - but I’m sure as soon as I met a little Gus it would grow on me quickly.

Posh name. Also feels like a shortened name, but not sure what it derives from. If your surname is very commonplace I don't think the two would be compatible.
