My daughter has 4 Sophia’s in her class alone.

Also Rueben seems to be the most common boys name.

Ella, Jessica, Emily, Charlotte, Evie for girls.
Teddy, Harry, Freddie, George, Sebastian for boys. There are also a couple of names where there are surprisingly more than one (well I thinks it's a surprise!), Ophelia, Scarlett, Archer for example.

Only really know the dc in by dgs' classes but no repeats in either class or between the classes. There used to be 1 Jaidan and a Jayden in dgs2 class but one left.
When dd was in school in her class there were 4 Samanthas, 3 Kathryn/Catherines, 2 Rachaels, 2 Sarahs, 6 Thomas, 3 Jacks and 2 Stewart/Stuarts out of 30.

Isabella and poppy (small girls school, those are the only doubles I think).

at one point 4 members of staff (out of 15 or so) had a daughter called Isabella - ages ranging from 21 to 1!!

I am a Sophie and born in the early 70s.
i spent my entire childhood hearing « what an unusual / old-fashioned name ».

How times change :)

SuperlativeOxymoron · 14/10/2022 20:35

Although it's not in the top 100 anymore, there are 15 Amy's at the school I work at. Considering it's a 1 form entry primary, that's a good proportion of the school population
