Really liking Skip, I think that spelling is preferableto Skipp, any opinions?

I'd stay away from anything Wayne Rooney thinks is a good idea - names, hookers etc.

Jem sounds very Hardy/biblical 'Go ask Jem to bring t' wagon'.

@TuftyMarmoset it’s not in my book either (boom boom pun intended) but then neither is Jem. It just popped into my head and I thought it might appeal to the OP.

@TuftyMarmoset she’d probably hate my very traditional DC’s names. Horses for courses. Jem isn’t that bad, and Scout is better than a lot (IMO of course) if that style of name is your bag.

I knew a guy in the States called Skip. I think I'd think it a bit weird in the UK.

Finch is the family name of Jem and Scout in TKAMB. Naming Jem's little brother Finch would be a bold choice.
