Thoughts on the name Prairie

What do you guys think of the name Prairie for a boy, my husband wanted to honor his Dad, Perry, if it’s a boy, but I feel like it’s a little dated, I think Prairie sounds kind of cute & more modern….Do you guys prefer the name Perry or Prairie?

I like it, it's sweet. Not perry though.

Prairie sounds, if anything, like a girls name.
Kids can be really cruel, I don’t think a boy with that name would have a happy time in high school. Sorry.

Perry is bad enough, but Prairie? It's not a name, and it's awful.

Prairie is not my style but could be really cute on a girl, I wouldn’t call a boy it.
I also hate the name Perry, it just reminds me of Kevin and Perry.

In Sheriff Callie (Disney junior bollox) there’s a place called the ‘scary prairie’.

It was the first thing I thought of.

Prayer and Prairie are girls' names.

I don’t think anything because it is not actually a persons name. Get your husband to spend the day imagining he is called this and see how that goes. Poor kid.
