Middle name for River

Hi all. After considering middle names for Ada I'm also thinking about first name River. Any MN suggestions? Thanks x

Actually if you are going to give a girl a first name like River then give her something sensible for the middle name in case she wants to change it later

Sorry OP these made me laugh.

I think it depends on your surname too tbh but I don't think a traditional name goes with it eg River Andrew or River Thomas doesn't work IMHO

I know 5 Rivers actually (mainly boys though) so it’s not that unusual. The girl River is River Rose. As a PP said I would pair it with a feminine name to soften it a bit.

I’d use Ada River Surname personally. Otherwise something short and traditional.

I've always loved Song as a middle name for River.

I wanted to call my child River but my partner didn't like it. We did compromise on it being her middle name though. Personally I think it's a lovely strong unusual name.

Thanks all for your input but I wasn't actually looking for your opinions on the first name, but for middle names that go with it

I think I would spell it Riva and followed by a second short name like Joy or Rose or Ann

I know a River she has a unique hyphenated name which I won't disclose here- but it sounds lovely.

My kids have traditional names but some unusual names are lovely and I think River is one of them.

I can't. It's a ridiculous name on an adult.

And not much better on a child.
