Maybe got it down to 3 girl names

We are due in three weeks and have really been struggling with names.

I think we’ve got it down to three names that we both like.

Francesca,
Paige,
Brooke.

Middle name is Vera Jean after grandmothers.

Opinions, (please don’t be too brutal 😂)

Not overly keen on Brooke & Paige

As above, Francesca. Paige and Brooke sound like bad 80s throwbacks.

I'm not at all keen on Francesca, but it's way better than Paige or Brooke.

Depends on your surname. Middle names don't get used much

Francesca is nice, but Francesca Vera Jean is quite a mouthful.

The Francesca in dds class is call Chesca for short, I don;t think anyone uses Fran. Frankie is veyr modern version and nice.

I really like Francesca. I know one who goes by her full name which I’d prefer. I also like Cesca.

Brooke with those middle names. The middle names are lush

Francesca is on my imaginary #3 list, I love it - only ever met 2 with NN Frankie/Chess.

I really don't like Fran or Frances, so although I like Francesca, I'd be wary of using it.

I like Paige as much but am not so keen on Brooke.

i like brooke the best , its not very common ,which adds to the appeal , if you go with francesca i think that everybody and his brother is going to call her fran for short , which is fine ,but i personally hate nice names being shortened as i think it then defeats the purpose of a lovley different name if you see what i mean , its like alexandrea really nice ,shortned to alex ,which is just so plain compaired , paige whould be my 2nd choice after brooke

Francesca is a beautiful name. However it is a very Italian name. Do you have any Italian heritage? As it's the equivalent of using a very Irish name e.g Aine and not having any Irish heritage.

lol , my parents gave me a spanish name , theres not a drop of spanish blood in me however , i just think parents sometimes dont think about that aspect at all ! im also dark so over the years iv got used to countless people asking if im spanish born , my very uncommon here in the uk is common in malta ,so iv been asked if im maltese as well . they always look a bit stumped when i expain my family are north american with russian ,german and scottish being in the ancestry lol

Francesca as it's classic and timeless, the other two are dated names from the 80's.

I can imagine the teacher saying 'Paige, please read from page 5, thank you'.

2. Paige- it's ok, wouldn't use it myself but it's a nice enough
3. Brooke- not keen I'm afraid

Francesca - strong, beautiful, nickname options
Paige - boring, short, uninspiring
Brooke - 80s/90s, dull

If we go Francesca we would like to try and encourage Frankie as the nickname.

Our surname begins with P and a very short one syllable name, which made me iffy about Paige.

My mum wants the sex to be a secret so I can’t even discuss it with her 😂
