SunshineThelma · 11/01/2021 23:14

I was at an all girl's school. It felt like half our year was Hannah, Helen, Lauren or Laura!

RainingBatsAndFrogs · 11/01/2021 23:14

Susan.
Where are they all now?
Sue, I suppose. But they were all called Susan then!

SemperIdem · 11/01/2021 23:14

So many Hannah’s and Sophie’s.

Knew a fair few Ryan’s. Never met one who wasn’t a twat.

All girls school. Tons of Katherine/Kates and Elizabeth/Liz. Several Rachels. A few Lisas, Helens and Rebeccas. Lots of Pauls at primary school.
@Diorissimo1985 same with the Louise name!! All my friends with Sarah Louise, Elizabeth Louise etc. We're the same age though so can see why!
That makes 3 of us then. If Louise wasn't a first name it was a middle name. Haven't seen my name on here yet. Think that one died out years ago Grin

notyetamumbuttrying · 11/01/2021 23:19

@HopingForOurRainbowBaby my name won't appear at all. It's only just getting popular now weirdly. I'm no longer unique and now sound like a newborn 😂

We lived abroad for much of my childhood, but in the UK my schooldays were populated by multiples of Sarah, Nicola, Claire, Joanne and Louise.

Strangely, I don't know any adults with those names now.

Brian - most common boy name in my class realised recently never hear children called Brian.

Caroline - not that I knew too many but recently met on my children were fascinated thought it was such a nice name why did they never hear it before.
. Looking over this thread other one which I think very common Lorraine and yes never hear a child called Lorraine. Think people go for very short names now.
