Tanya, Joanne, Michelle, Claire, Nicola, Amanda, Sarah, Dawn, Kelly, Denise, Melissa, Gemma, Kim, Toni and Emma. Also remember there were three Tamsin/Tamasins in my year, never met another since.

Mark - so many bloody Marks. Darren, Lee, Paul, Gary, Kevin, Jason, Martin and Jamie. Boys names were shortened differently too. They were Dave, Rob, Steve and Tony.

Michael. In one group I knew four Michaels and in another two. I still love the name though

IamnotwhouthinkIam · 11/01/2021 23:10

I was born in the 80's - I knew 4 Joanna's (2 in my class at school) and there were 5 variations of Catherine in my class of 30 kids alone! Both names aren't very popular now (even though Catherine in particular seems pretty classic).

PattyPan · 11/01/2021 23:10

Jessica
Abigail
Rebecca

Think the boys names are still quite popular - Samuel, Alexander, Thomas etc?
