YouCantBeSirius · 02/08/2018 17:20

Liam? Shock

YerAuntFanny · 02/08/2018 17:23

I think so.

Just spotted random FB personalised stuff and this appeared. It took me a second to figure out what it said!

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 18:33

I’ve seen Willeigham for William before but Leighyum is a new one on me!

DCam06 · 02/08/2018 18:44

Lol it took me a while to work out how to say that! I've worked with a lot of strange spelt young people and that is definitely a winner!

peachypetite · 02/08/2018 18:47

What the actual fuck

piefacedClique · 02/08/2018 18:47

I used to teach a Yhiane. His parents liked the name ieuan but had no idea how to spell it (and didn’t think to consult the internet!). I couldn’t call the register without internally shouting ‘ Yee han’ like I was in a crap western!

PatrickMerricksGoshawk · 02/08/2018 19:26

I know of an Edeigh.

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 19:27

Is that Eddie or Edie?

PatrickMerricksGoshawk · 02/08/2018 19:28

It's a girl but I only "know" of her via FB (Blush) so not sure.

popcorneveryminute · 02/08/2018 19:28

I've come across an Aulay before

peachypetite · 02/08/2018 19:30

Why do people do this? So chavvy.

NannyR · 02/08/2018 19:33

I saw a woman the other day with a large tattoo across her back with Pheobe on it, amongst other (normally spelt names). I did wonder whether that was how she had actually spelt it or whether the tattoo artist had made a spelling mistake and she hadn't noticed due to it being on her back.

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 19:35

Aulay

How the feck do you pronounce that? Is it like the last part of McAuley?

popcorneveryminute · 02/08/2018 19:36

I think it's supposed to be like Ollie

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 19:37

Oh wow I hadn’t even thought of that. Consider my brain thoroughly pickled Grin

Ginger1982 · 02/08/2018 19:38

I also know someone who named their kid Aulay. When they said it I thought they meant Ollie as that what it sounds like, but no.....

madja · 02/08/2018 19:39

I know of a Willeyam 😀

popcorneveryminute · 02/08/2018 19:39

I think Aulay is going to have a lifetime of having to spell out his name - "No, it starts with an A, not an O"!

RaingodsWithZippos · 02/08/2018 19:40

I know someone whose dd is Eyvie. I don't know whether it's supposed to be Evie or Ivy Confused

YeTalkShiteHen · 02/08/2018 19:40

Willeyam

Oh that poor boy is going to get slaughtered at school Sad

MikeUniformMike · 02/08/2018 19:40

But isn;t Macaulay a name? Home Alone actor.
