Any language or culture or era, except very American-type ones like surnames or states, or very unusual pronunciations.

That should clearly have been 'hit', not 'hi'. It's late, and the nameless baby is jumping on my bladder. Again. HmmAngry

Some are quite American but tbh a lot of gender neutral names read that way to me.

I know male and female Rileys, I think the female one is spelled Rylee though.

For reasons I can't explain I just do not like Aubrey.
Can Kit be standalone? Or would people always be asking what it is short for?
Florian is very male, surely?
Rowan is very nice, but we can't use due to family conflict. I guess nature names are usually fairly gender neutral or unisex?

I normally love long names with nicknames attached but I’m quite happy kit can be stand alone

DD says Brio Hmm I think she means Rio.

user1485182339 · 29/01/2018 21:35

I'm suddenly struck by how many of these names end in a 'ee' sound.
I quite like Kit, I think. Guess if it a girl and she rebels she could use Kitty as a nn. Not sure what a boy might choose.
