I used to work with a female Theo. I think it might have been short for Theodora but you could give the short form to a girl or a boy.

I have a Girl Taylor, the only others I know are boys. I hate when people asked if I named her after Taylor Swift never occurred to me and loved the name since I was a child myself.

HaHaHmm...I forgot Dh has an Aunty Theo. It's short for Theogine (Greek name, but not Greek nationality)!
