Looking for a really unusual girls name!

I'm 34 weeks pregnant with my second daughter and found my first's name by scrolling through this forum. Hers is very unusual but has a meaning and is not too much of a mouthful. We're looking for similar with this one. By very unusual I mean a name that's never shown up on the baby name chart which records any name that has been used more than 3 times in a year. It's a tall order I know!

We have Australian and Italian roots and surname ends in -ia so that rules out most -a or -ia ending names for us.
Nice nicknames are also a must.

As an example of what I like my all time fave name is Camira. It's Australian Aboriginal but unfortunately is the name of a shit Australian car so has been completely vetoed by OH.
Would love some help!

Zalie is beautiful. But if you are wanting super unusual it may not be in the next few years. I've heard it talked about by several pregnant women in the past month as a potential name as it was the name of one of meghan markles flower girls - none of them had heard of it before then so it may be more well known now.

Aleydis - I came across it when reading Girl with a pearl earring and thought it was beautiful

Thisbe

Clothilde - though imagine it would shorten to Chloe

Clarisse

Sibyl

Amabel

Florianne / Floriane

These are all the names on my list that were used less than 3 x I'm 2016

If you can't find any you like that named used less than 10x are still very rare.

I think I've posted this before but the most unusual girl's name I've come across is Ildiko. I think it may be Scandianvian.
And I was looking on Tatler's list of 'poshest baby names ever' and I give you - - Quintana.
I wonder if you have to have four DC already before you can use it, a la Rees-Mogg's Sixtus.
(Tatler also had Youngblood on the baby boy's list. Christ on a bike.)

Beshlie.

I saw a programme about artist Beshlie Heron when I was a child, and always like the sound of her name.
I think it's a Romany name, and she was certainly drawn to natural subjects for her work . She was quite a character, and even sat for painted by Augustus John a couple of times!

The baby will have been born by now as this is from October, what did you chose OP?

Dottieroses · 20/06/2018 11:47

I once met someone who's little girl was called Zophia and they called her zosh or zoshie as a nick name (don't know why but you may like it too). Very unusual and only one I've ever heard of. Fits your z names 🙂
